My Super Sassy Dad: Stop Running Away, Mrs. Quinn!
Chapter 1068 - 1071: What Did You Do?
She arrogantly lifted her chin, her narrowed eyes forming a bewitching curve.
Seeing her like that, Councilman Gordon hardened once more. "As long as you serve me well, I will absolutely give you an antidote. Not only will I give you the antidote, but I will also keep today’s events a secret."
"Is that so?" Melody Thorne leaned forward, looking at Councilman Gordon as if she were looking at an idiot. How did someone as stupid as him climb to his current position?
"Yes."
Melody Thorne’s hand slid down Councilman Gordon’s chest.
Councilman Gordon stared fixedly at Melody Thorne’s delicate and stunning face.
"Councilman," the woman beside him suddenly exclaimed.
Gordon looked downward, but unfortunately, Melody Thorne’s hand had already moved down. He felt something prick him.
"What did you do?" Councilman lifted his head, his eyes red with fury.
That move by Melody Thorne had just softened him instantly, and now he couldn’t even muster the strength to get hard!
Melody Thorne quickly stepped back, lifting her lips into a seductive smile like a captivating lotus flower. "What can I do? I’m merely returning the favor in kind. This is the potion I obtained before, given to me by Leon Rivers. He said wherever this needle stabs, that part will fester and lose its functionality, eventually rotting away!"
Councilman Gordon’s face dramatically changed as if a fire were burning inside him, ready to consume him at any moment!
"You damn bitch, give me the antidote. I told you to give me the antidote, didn’t you hear? Otherwise, I’ll blow your brains out, we’ll die together, and even if it drags down Lady Sila, I won’t lose out!"
"Councilman, why are you so tense?" Melody Thorne chuckled. "I came here just for the antidote, not to go down with you. If you hadn’t had lustful thoughts about me, I wouldn’t have laid a hand on you, would I?"
"Give me the antidote."
Soldiers who had gone into the restroom all aimed their guns at her head.
"Damn it, if you dare pull any tricks, I’ll let them rape you first and then kill you, and toss your corpse outside the Quinn family!" Gordon’s face was covered in tiny bulging veins.
Dammit, a man in his forties repeatedly failing at her hands.
Melody Thorne calmly raised her hand. "As long as Councilman is willing to cooperate, of course I am also willing to swiftly resolve the matter. However, I didn’t bring the antidote with me, so I’d need Councilman to accompany me downstairs. As a woman, I naturally take precautions, and the antidote is hidden downstairs. We’ll go together, you take what you want, I take what I want, and everyone’s happy, right?"
Councilman would love nothing more than to pin Melody Thorne to the ground and torment her; he shouldn’t have lowered his guard the moment she walked in. This woman is truly scheming!
"Councilman," a soldier approached, whispering a few words in his ear, and Councilman’s face turned even grimmer.
Melody Thorne knew the car she drove over must have been thoroughly searched by them, but she hadn’t hidden anything in the car.
"Councilman, no need to keep looking. You won’t find it. On my way up, I found a hiding spot, and only I can retrieve it. Lingering further might not be good for you."
