Chapter 1052 - 1055: Are You Coming With Me or Not?

"Full now?" Jared Quinn lowered his head, his gaze dangerous as he stared at her. "Taste good?"

Melody Thorne said, "It’s okay, just no salt."

Jared rolled over and pressed her down, pushing his body forward against her. "You still wanna add salt?"

Melody let out a soft hum. The crook of her leg ached from his thrust, her hands hooked around his neck. "I’m hungry, okay? I went to the hospital last night and came back without eating."

Jared’s slightly rough palm slid down from her chest all the way. "Perfect, I’m hungry too."

He was really hungry right now.

Following the path of his big hand, Melody’s gaze dropped, and she finally realized that at some point last night she’d fallen asleep without knowing it, and all her clothes had been stripped off. She wasn’t wearing a thing, just lying there completely bare.

The skin behind her ear flushed red in an instant.

She lifted a foot and kicked at him. "Jared, you didn’t even think to put clothes on me?"

"It’s only comfy holding you like this." Jared easily pinned her leg down, chuckling low. "It’s not like there’s anything I haven’t seen. What’s the difference between wearing and not wearing?"

He knew every inch of her like the back of his hand.

"What time is it now? Isn’t it already really late? Crap, I still have a ton of things to do." Melody yelped and tried to get out of bed.

Jared’s body sank down, not giving her a second to react before he was already inside her, panting heavily. "Don’t rush, it’s still early."

Melody hooked her arms around his neck, riding the pleasure, but her mind was still clinging to that long list of tasks. "Jared, hurry up, I still have a lot of things to deal with."

"Hurry up and send you over the edge?" Jared immediately picked up the pace,

making Melody scream again and again.

"No, not that kind of hurry—I mean finish sooner. If we spend the whole day in bed, aren’t we just wasting all our time?"

"That’s actually a pretty good proposal."

"What proposal?"

"Spending the whole day in bed."

"No, absolutely not."

An hour later, the bedroom door was knocked on. Leon Rivers and the others were already waiting downstairs.

"Hurry up, Leon and the guys are already waiting downstairs." Melody threw a pillow at Jared’s back.

"Are you coming to the office with me today?" Jared had no intention of stopping. This little woman had been so busy these past couple of days she was practically forgetting her husband existed.

How could that be okay? If he didn’t fight for some presence, who knew, she might just fall for someone else.

Thinking of how she’d been handling this and that for everyone these days, Jared’s chest soured with jealousy. His big hand tightened around her ankle, his movements growing even more urgent and faster.

"Hah—" Melody panted. "Is that even a question? You’re clearly just ordering me to go to the office with you!"

"So, are you going or not?"

"I..."

"Hmm? Going, or not going?"

"Going, going—just hurry up." Melody moaned out.

Would she dare say she wasn’t going?

If she said no, he’d probably keep going until nighttime!

Jared lowered his head to kiss her, speeding up his thrusts!

In the hall.

Leon Rivers glanced at the two people coming down from the sofa, then quietly checked the time. From when they started waiting in the hall until now, it’d already been two hours, and the butler had gone up to call them twice in between.

Anyone with half a brain could tell what those two had been doing early in the morning!

"Jared, sis-in-law, so you do remember how to come downstairs. I thought you weren’t gonna come down at all today—I was just about to leave!"
