Chapter 1016 - 1019: Someone Broke In

Jared Quinn held her soft body as he finished the shower, then Melody Thorne immediately rolled onto that big bed, changing into long-sleeved pajamas.

"Aren’t you hot at night?" Jared Quinn glanced at her.

"What’s hot? This is for protection against wolves at night," Melody Thorne shot him a glance.

Her look clearly said, yes, against you.

Jared Quinn let out a low chuckle, his arm snaked around her back as they lay down.

Suddenly, the sound of an alarm came from outside, and the lights that had dimmed around the villa all lit up.

The butler’s voice rang out from outside.

"Someone broke in?" Melody Thorne immediately sat up.

"Stay in the bedroom, don’t go out. I’ll go check and be back soon."

"I want to go see too."

Jared Quinn glanced at her long-sleeved outfit, and with a big hand, led her downstairs.
