Nova’s jaw dropped as he read the description of the skill. It was so overpowered. He could literally tear the soul out of his opponent with his howl.

Though it wasn’t that their soul would be torn apart. It would simply be forced out of their body for a moment before returning instantly. That was only for opponents stronger than him.

For those at the same level, it would take them more time to regain control of their soul and body. And for weaker opponents, they would simply die, as their souls would literally shatter.

It was understandable, as beings with higher Soul Strength could tear the souls of weaker beings. But this new Soul Skill was just too overpowered. He couldn’t wait to use it.

Unfortunately, he couldn’t use it on the dummies, as they didn’t have souls. He would just have to wait until he met some fucker he could try it on.

Nova smiled and went further down the status window as he checked his Affinity and his authority, the Elemental Lord.

He didn’t check the notification, but while fighting Liam, he had gained a new Affinity—the Shadow Affinity.

Though the status still stated that it was high, as the Shadow Element was rare but not rare enough to rank up his authority.

He also hadn’t used his authority-related skills during the battle, as he had never planned to fight those powerhouses directly. His target had been to use his most deadly attack to make them fear him.

And he had succeeded in that attempt.

However, he was still yet to use his authority-related skills against his real enemies, though he had used them multiple times during training.
