[Anything more? Can you tell me about this person you call the Slaughter Monarch?]

Zeon began telling the figure everything in detail, from beginning to end, explaining the entire incident that had taken place in Vaunis without leaving out a single detail.

After hearing his explanation, the figure remained silent for nearly a minute, as though thinking deeply about everything Zeon had told him.

Zeon remained completely silent during that time, patiently waiting for the Lord’s response.

After a minute, the figure finally spoke.

[ I want you and your entire Order to consider this Slaughter Monarch an utmost threat, on the same level as the other powerful existences of your world. ]

[ If he truly used a flame of that level... then he isn’t a normal being. If not, then he is backed by someone so powerful that even I cannot determine who it is. ]

Zeon swallowed a mouthful of saliva upon hearing those words. Even the Lord considered the Slaughter Monarch to be such a level of threat.

That could only mean one thing. The Slaughter Monarch was someone who absolutely couldn’t be fucked with.

If Zeon—or anyone else—had seen Nova’s Chaotic Dragonic-Demon Form, which was completely different from Raze’s and existed on an entirely different level, they would have been even more shocked.

It wasn’t simply another hybrid form.

It was an entirely different species.

The world had only witnessed a fraction of Nova’s true power, yet it was already in an uproar.

And once word spread that the Slaughter Monarch had been only a Grandmaster not long ago, the entire world would probably go completely insane from the shock.

Of course, it had actually taken Nova longer than that when accounting for the time he had spent inside the System Space and the Abyss.

But to the outside world, it had only been around a month.

Coming back to Zeon, he lowered his head and replied respectfully,

"I’ll do as you say, Lord."

[Hmm... And until the bridge is finished, gather all the information you can. It will take quite some time. ]

[The Secret Realm will be opening soon, and its power will suppress everything on this island, including the spatial connection between our worlds. ]

"As you command, Lord."

Zeon replied, already knowing about it. His Lord had informed him of this before, as this wasn’t the first time he had contacted him.

[Alright. You may go now. I’ll contact you when necessary. And also, keep an eye on Caelan. He is now in contact with those fuckers... I don’t know how they managed to do it. ]

"As you command, Lord... And what about Zero?"

Zeon hesitated before asking.

[Hmm... This guy? He’s as good as dead. I’ll have to work on his soul to determine exactly what kind of flame this is. ]

Zeon wasn’t surprised by the outcome.

He had brought his subordinate here hoping that he could be saved, but it seemed he was destined to die anyway.

It would still be a huge blow to his Order to lose a Sovereign.

In this world, reaching the Emperor Realm could take hundreds of years, not to mention becoming a Sovereign. That was an entirely different matter and could take thousands of years.

The death of an Emperor was already a significant loss, but the death of a Sovereign was an unimaginable one.

Yet Zeon couldn’t possibly blame the Lord for it. Instead, he cursed Nova inwardly for being the reason behind this loss.

This was also why powerful existences rarely fought each other so easily. And even when they did clash, most of the time, they weren’t actually fighting to the death.

A Sovereign was simply too valuable to lose.

Still, Zeon sighed inwardly but remained as polite and respectful as ever in front of his Lord. What Zeon didn’t know was that Zero could have survived if he hadn’t brought him here.

His strength would have been completely destroyed, leaving him at most at the Grandmaster Realm, since Nova hadn’t been able to unleash the full power of the Primordial Chaotic Flame.

But because Zeon had brought him here, Zero would definitely die. After some time, Zeon left the cave with the ancient seal.

While Zeon received his new orders from his Lord, something else was taking place in an unknown area of the Elven Continent—Ilythar.

....

Far away from the civilizations of the Elves lay a place known as Death Valley.

The valley was a isolated and ominous region, mostly used by powerful Elves as a training ground for those seeking to sharpen their abilities in dangerous environments.

Powerful demonic beasts roamed freely throughout the valley, making it a place where only the strongest dared to venture alone.

Yet today, the valley had become a scene of slaughter. Standing amid the blood-soaked ground were two menacing figures.

Azren and Voren.

The two Demon Generals once served under Demon Lord Raze. Azren was a Level 9 Emperor, while Voren was a Level 8 Emperor.

Their entire bodies were stained with blood.

Around them lay countless corpses belonging to members of the Bloodmoon Cult.

Their bodies were scattered throughout the valley in horrifying states. Some had been torn apart, others had been crushed beneath overwhelming force, while several had been thrown across the rocky ground as though they weighed nothing.

There wasn’t a single intact corpse among them.

The once-hidden members of the Bloodmoon Cult had been dragged out of their hiding place and slaughtered without mercy.

The surrounding atmosphere was heavy with the metallic scent of blood, while the silence of Death Valley had been replaced by the occasional crackle of blood dripping onto the ground.

Yet amid the countless corpses, one man was still alive. Barely. Azren stood before him, holding him by the throat with one hand.

The man wore the black robes of the Bloodmoon Cult, though those robes were now soaked in blood and torn beyond recognition.

His body trembled violently as he struggled to breathe. His aura he released belonged to peak king realm.

Yet before Azren, that strength meant nothing. Azren lifted him slightly off the ground, his expression filled with contempt.

"Did you really think we wouldn’t be able to find your location, you maggot?!" The man’s face paled as fear filled his eyes.

Azren’s grip tightened.

Around them, the corpses of his fellow cult members remained scattered across Death Valley, serving as a grim reminder of what happened when the Bloodmoon Cult underestimated the Demon Lord’s forces.

"That was a nice formation you got there. It wouldn’t attract any high-level Demonic Beasts in this area, so you could remain properly hidden, huh?"

"Who was it that made the formation? Your original master, Demon Lord Kharos, was it? Oh, no... It must have been one of his dog Generals, right?"

"Ugh... cough!"

The man coughed up blood as he tried to say something.

"Is it painful? So, tell me, on which level of the Abyss are the other members hiding? And what plans have you made with Demon Lord Kharos? I’ll release you from your pain."

After finding out that they had been betrayed by their own "dogs"—or rather, fooled from the very beginning—Azren and Voren killed all the Bloodmoon Cult members who were still hiding outside the Abyss.

These groups, numbering in the thousands, had been hiding in places like Death Valley under powerful isolation formations created by an Emperor-level Formation Master.

But Azren and Voren soon tracked them down and killed them all after dealing with the other locations.

They left the Abyss aside for now, as they had learned that many members were still hiding there.

Most of those outside were only low-level minions, while the more important members, including those at Level 110, 109, and even Level 1 and above, were already hiding within the Abyss.

This was also the reason why, when Nova sent Alpha and Gamma to search for the Bloodmoon Cult members, they didn’t encounter any of them, even after searching the entire human continent for weeks.

Most of those outside were only low-level minions, while the more important members, including those named 110 to 1 were already hiding within the Abyss.

This was also the reason why, when Nova sent Alpha and Gamma to search for the Bloodmoon Cult members, they didn’t encounter any of them, even after searching the entire human continent for weeks.

And this man, who was on the verge of death after being tortured by Azren, was called 111, who had been sent there as the leader of the group hiding in this location.

"A-All of t-them are... o-on Level 1..."

111 finally managed to speak.

Azren had gotten the information he wanted, but suddenly, the man’s head exploded as the mana seal placed inside his head activated.

Blood and pieces of flesh splattered across Azren’s face. He licked a little of it before immediately spitting it out in disgust.

"Tastes like shit!"

Voren calmly watched everything as they finally obtained the information they wanted.

"Let’s go, brother. We’re still yet to find the Lord’s Heart. I’m beginning to think someone might have already gotten their hands on it."

"Yeah, let’s go."

Azren was about to open a spatial rift when his communication stone suddenly buzzed.
