After looking over his rewards, Kaiser turned his attention to the final one, the Random Legendary Pet Egg.

"I hope it’s something unique that can give me something good. Otherwise, I’ll just give it to Mom," he mumbled.

He took out the egg and examined it. At first, it was pure white, but its surface soon began changing. Various beautiful patterns appeared across its shell until it eventually transformed into a black egg decorated with silvery floral patterns.

"The egg looks unique, though. I wonder what kind of creature is inside it."

As Kaiser examined the egg, Ripple climbed onto his shoulder and stared at it curiously.

"It looks tasty!"

"It’s not for eating," Kaiser said, rubbing his forehead with a sigh.

"Boring," Ripple muttered before jumping down and returning to admire Rachel’s numerous Ruination Knights.

Kaiser shook his head helplessly before appraising the egg.

"Moon Fairy? This is new. I’ve never heard of such a creature before," he mumbled as he opened its description.

Kaiser raised his eyebrows as he finished reading the description.

"A Moon Fairy born from moonlight? That’s pretty interesting."

Although the description didn’t reveal much about the creature’s actual abilities, its Legendary Rank and special trait were enough to make him curious.

Unfortunately, the egg couldn’t tell him whether the Moon Fairy would be suited for combat, support, or some other purpose.

’Well, I’ll find out once it hatches.’

Kaiser carefully stored the egg in his inventory. There was no point rushing things when he didn’t even know what conditions were required for it to hatch.

He also considered giving it to Emilia, but decided to wait until he learned more about the creature inside. If the Moon Fairy possessed some special ability that could help his mother, he would naturally consider giving it to her.

"That’s everything, then."

Kaiser stretched his arms and glanced at Rachel, who was standing among her Ruination Knights. The knights remained motionless, their white and golden armor shining beneath the faint green light of the cave.

Just looking at them reminded him of the difference between an ordinary undead army and one commanded by someone who possessed a Rule.

Kaiser shook his head and dismissed the thought. He had already received his rewards, and there was no reason to dwell on the battle any longer.

More importantly, he still had plenty of things to do after returning to the outside world.

He glanced at Ripple, who was now inspecting the Ruination Knights’ armor with great interest.

"Ripple, are you done looking at them?"

Ripple turned around and immediately ran back to Kaiser.

"Father, can I have one?"

Kaiser looked at him in surprise.

"One what?"

"One of these knights!"

Ripple pointed at the nearest Ruination Knight, his prismatic eyes shining with excitement.

Kaiser stared at him for a moment before sighing.

’First, he wanted to eat the egg. Now, he wants one of Rachel’s knights.’

He rubbed Ripple’s head.

"We’ll talk about that later. For now, let’s get ready to leave."

Kaiser opened his system and pressed the return button.

[Trial Completer...Returning]

With a blinding flash of light, Kaiser returned to his room.

"Okay, I’m Rank 2 now. Reaching the peak of Rank 2 should be pretty easy," he mumbled as he checked the date.

"Though I have to return to the academy tomorrow. How boring."

He shook his head before jumping onto his bed and opening his status screen.

"Time to spend my last few moments in peace."

With that, Kaiser began examining his updated status.

Kaiser carefully examined his updated Cosmic Sheet, paying particular attention to his attributes.

’My stats have increased quite a bit.’

This was expected. After advancing to Rank 2 and receiving the All Attributes ×3 reward, his overall strength had increased significantly. His Intelligence was especially high, giving him an enormous mana pool.

However, Kaiser wasn’t entirely satisfied with his current distribution of attributes.

’I’ve been focusing too much on Intelligence. It’s useful for my skills and mana capacity, but I shouldn’t neglect my other attributes.’

He had 1,680 free stat points remaining. Previously, he would have invested most of them into Intelligence without hesitation, but this time, he decided to try a more balanced approach.

After considering it for a moment, Kaiser distributed his free stat points equally among Strength, Agility, and Vitality.

Each attribute received 560 points.

His Intelligence remained his highest attribute by a considerable margin, so he didn’t have to worry about losing his advantage in mana capacity. Meanwhile, the additional Strength would improve his physical attacks, Agility would make him faster, and Vitality would increase his survivability.

Although his undead army could handle most enemies for him, Kaiser didn’t want to become completely dependent on his summons. If he ever encountered an opponent who could bypass his undead or directly threaten him, having stronger physical attributes would give him more options.

"Alright, that should do for now."

He closed the attribute panel and leaned back against the headboard.

He still had several things to investigate, including his newly acquired skills and the changes to his Reconstruction talent. However, he could deal with those later.

After all, he had to return to the academy tomorrow.

Just thinking about attending classes again made him sigh.

"Guess I’ll enjoy the rest of today while I can."
