Kaiser nodded. "That’s true. This will probably be another part of the trial to obtain these inheritances."

Emilia nodded in agreement. "This could also be your chance to obtain something good."

Alex leaned back in his chair. "I’m already good on my own, though. You know what I mean."

Kaiser nodded. Alex had already told him that he possessed his own Arts, including both a Grand Art and a Celestial Art, all thanks to the powerful SSS-Rank inheritance he had obtained. However, Alex’s Arts would remain unaccesible for now.

The reason was simple. Celestial Arts and Grand Arts were not techniques that just anyone could practice. Normally, only people who had reached Rank 5 or above could begin practicing them because of the enormous burden they placed on the soul.

To imprint a Grand Art or Celestial Art onto one’s soul, a person needed an extremely strong and pure soul. If their soul was not strong enough to withstand the power of the Art, the imprint would simply be rejected. Trying to force the imprint could cause severe damage to the soul, and in the worst cases, the soul could completely collapse, resulting in death.

That was why most people waited until they reached Rank 5 before attempting to practice Grand Arts or Celestial Arts. By that stage, their souls had already become strong enough to withstand the enormous burden.

Alex was already capable of using his Arts, but he still had a long way to go before he could truly master them.

Kaiser glanced at him. "So you’re not interested in the Arts inside the Legacy Dungeon?"

Alex shrugged. "Not really. If I find something useful, I’ll take it, but I’m not going there just for an Art."

"There are bound to be more useful and interesting things"

He then looked toward Emilia. "Besides, she already claimed the Endless Ocean, the best one inside."

Emilia smiled slightly, and Kaiser nodded.

"Then let’s focus on what we else we can get from there."

His gaze returned to the blue token lying on the table.

"The Legacy Dungeon , When will it open?"

Emilia nodded. "The dungeon will open exactly one month from now, and it will appear near the port of Safalia."

"Safalia, the Sea Kingdom ruled by the Merman race, right?" Kaiser asked.

"Yes. The Safalia race is an ancient merfolk race that originated from the Safalia Sea."

Kaiser and Alex nodded. They both knew a little about the Cosmic World and the Safalia race.

The Safalia were one of the largest and most influential sea races in the Cosmic World. They originated from the massive Safalia Sea, where countless sea races and aquatic monsters lived. The Safalia Sea was so enormous that it could almost be considered a world of its own.

Over countless generations, the people living within the Safalia Sea had spread throughout the surrounding regions, establishing their own kingdoms and territories. Among them, the Safalia Kingdom had become one of the most powerful and well-known kingdoms in the region.

Kaiser nodded thoughtfully. "So we’ll need to travel to Safalia first."

"Exactly," Emilia replied. "Once the dungeon appears, we’ll use the Abyssal Tide Token to enter."

Alex nodded. "The dungeon will open in about fifteen days, right? That means we still have around ten days to take care of anything we need before leaving. Let’s head there five days early, just in case we run into any trouble along the way."

Both Kaiser and Emilia agreed with his suggestion.

"That sounds good," Kaiser said.

Alex then stood up from his chair. "In that case, I should probably head out as well. I want to complete my Rank-Up Trial. This is probably the perfect time to do it."

Kaiser nodded. "Yeah, you should."

Alex looked toward Emilia. "I’ll head out and take care of my trial. You should also get ready."

Emilia nodded. "Of course. I’m already close to reaching the peak of Rank 2, so I’ll use these days to reach Rank 3 as well."

She then looked at Kaiser. "And I assume you’ll be doing something of your own during this time?"

Kaiser smiled. "Of course. I have a few things I need to take care of before we leave."

Alex nodded. "Then let’s meet again before we head to Safalia."

"Sounds good," Kaiser replied.

After agreeing on their plans, the three of them went their separate ways.

Kaiser returned to his room and closed the door behind him. He then sat down on the bed before logging out of the Cosmic World and returning to the real world.

As soon as he opened his eyes, Kaiser stretched his body and looked around his room. He had been quite busy recently, and there was no reason to immediately push himself into another trial.

"I should probably do the Rank-Up Trial after getting a good rest," he mumbled.

With that in mind, Kaiser left his room and headed downstairs to get something to eat.

On the way to the dining area, he saw it was already midnight. He noticed that his mother had left some food for him along with a small note.

Kaiser picked up the note and read it. It was a simple reminder from his mother telling him to take care of his health and not spend all his time training.

Kaiser smiled slightly. "Looks like mom is still worried about me."

He warmed up the food and sat down to eat. After finishing his meal, he returned to his room, changed into comfortable clothes, and went straight to bed.

The exhaustion he had accumulated over the past few days quickly caught up with him, and Kaiser soon fell into a deep sleep.

The next morning, Kaiser woke up feeling completely refreshed. He stretched before getting out of bed and smiled.

"That was a good sleep."

After washing up and having breakfast, Kaiser returned to his room and sat down on the bed. He then opened his Cosmic System, and the familiar blue screen appeared in front of him.

Kaiser looked through the available options before selecting the Rank-Up Trial.

[Rank-Up Trial]

[Current Rank: 1]

[Avialable Rank Trial: 2]

[Would you like to begin the Rank-Up Trial?]

Kaiser looked at the screen for a moment before smiling.

"Let’s do it."

He selected the confirmation option, and the Cosmic System immediately responded.

[Select your difficulty]

Kaiser once again chose the highest dificulty.

[Rank-Up Trial starting.]

[Preparing trial environment.]

A bright light suddenly surrounded Kaiser’s body. His vision blurred as the familiar surroundings of his room slowly disappeared, replaced by the environment of the Rank-Up Trial.

The Rank-Up Trial had officially begun.
