My Reconstruction Talent is too OP!!!
Chapter 171: Arts
After collecting all the rewards, Kaiser left the dungeon and returned to the nearby inn, where he found Alex waiting for him.
"You’re done?" Alex asked.
Kaiser nodded. "Yeah, it was a good place to collect Shadow type corpses."
Alex nodded before taking another sip of his drink.
Kaiser was about to sit down when he noticed the beautiful aqua-blue-haired woman sitting very close to Alex.
He looked at her for a moment before turning toward his friend.
"Who’s she?"
"Meet Emilia. She’s my girlfriend," Alex replied casually.
Kaiser nearly spat out his drink.
’What the fuck? I only left you alone for a few hours!’
He stared at Alex in disbelief before looking at the woman sitting beside him.
She was a mermaid.
Yes, a mermaid. And not just any mermaid, but an incredibly beautiful one with an appearance that could easily attract attention wherever she went.
She had long, aqua-blue hair that flowed down her back, along with delicate ears resembling folded fish fins. Small scales adorned her elbows and hands, giving her an exotic appearance without taking away from her beauty.
Her overall appearance was charming, and there was something about her that naturally drew people’s attention.
’Fuck, her charm is on another level!’
He wasn’t sure if she is using any ability or its her natural Charm but it did dazed him for a minute, but then the feeling vanished as if it was never there.
Kaiser wondered whether he had mistaken it.
"Hello," Emilia greeted him with a polite smile, bringing her hands together in front of her chest as she bowed her head slightly.
Kaiser recognized the gesture as a traditional greeting used by many race.
He returned the greeting before pulling out a chair and sitting down.
"So, how did this happen?" he asked, looking between the two.
"It’s a long story," Alex sighed.
"Keep it short," Kaiser replied immediately.
Alex shrugged.
"I was minding my own business when some prick started hitting on her. She turned him down, but the bastard and his friends tried to force her to go with them. Then I stepped in, beat them up, and saved her. And voilà, she fell for me."
He finished his explanation with a satisfied smile.
Kaiser nodded slowly before raising an eyebrow.
’Wait a minute. Something’s wrong here.’
He looked at Emilia again.
Although she appeared to be a beautiful and somewhat delicate woman, Kaiser could tell that something was off.
She was powerful.
In fact, she was considerably stronger than Alex.
So how had Alex managed to save her from a group of troublemakers if she had been unable to deal with them herself?
It didn’t make sense.
Emilia wasn’t an ordinary mermaid. She was deliberately concealing her strength, and Kaiser had noticed the traces of power hidden beneath her seemingly harmless appearance.
The reason he could see through her disguise was his experience.
During the hundred years he had spent in the Trial World for his class, Kaiser had learned countless things about sensing power, concealing one’s aura, and identifying hidden threats.
Those experiences had sharpened his senses considerably.
However, he hadn’t retained every memory from that hundred-year period in full detail.
To prevent himself from being overwhelmed by the accumulated memories and emotions, Kaiser had deliberately sealed away most of them, keeping only the knowledge and experiences that were useful to him.
Otherwise, having the memories of more than a century of experiences would have made it difficult for him to behave like an ordinary sixteen-year-old.
Even now, he preferred to live normally rather than constantly think and act like someone who had spent a hundred years surviving in a Trial World.
’Well, whatever. It’s Alex’s relationship, not mine.’
Kaiser decided not to investigate the matter any further for now.
If Emilia wanted to hide her strength, she probably had her reasons.
Besides, Alex seemed happy, and that was enough for him.
Kaiser leaned back in his chair and looked at his friend with a faint smile.
’Still, I leave you alone for a few hours, and you somehow manage to get yourself a mermaid girlfriend. Just how lucky can you be?’
He shook his head and put the matter to the back of his mind as the three of them began making small talk.
After a while, Emilia suddenly spoke.
"By the way, do you want to come to a Legacy Dungeon?"
As she spoke, she raised her hand and created a small blue projection that displayed information about the dungeon.
Kaiser glanced at the projection.
"Legacy Dungeon?" he asked, even though he already knew what they were.
A Legacy Dungeon was a powerful dungeon created when an old, high-ranked monster sealed its belongings and treasures inside a specific location before dying.
These dungeons often contained the monster’s weapons, techniques, treasures, and other valuable items accumulated throughout its lifetime.
"So, this was your reason for getting close to Alex?" Kaiser asked, looking at Emilia.
Emilia looked slightly awkward for a moment before smiling.
"As expected from someone who has comprehended a Rule. You really are perceptive."
Alex immediately frowned and looked at her.
"Wait. You approached me just so you could get close to Kaiser?"
His expression turned ugly.
For a moment, he looked like a normal poor guy who had just realized that the beautiful girl he thought had fallen for him had actually approached him for something else.
"At first," Emilia admitted.
Alex’s expression became even worse.
"But I actually like you now. You’re funny."
She smiled and gave Alex a quick peck on the cheek.
The anger on Alex’s face instantly disappeared.
Kaiser stared at the scene in disbelief.
’Seriously?’
He couldn’t help but wonder if his friend had been secretly trained by a chameleon.
His mood changed colors way too quickly.
Kaiser shook his head before turning his attention back to Emilia.
"What kind of Legacy Dungeon is it?"
"I can take you there, but I need the Celestial Art inside it," Emilia replied.
Kaiser’s eyes widened slightly.
"The Celestial Art?"
Even Alex looked surprised.
Celestial Arts were incredibly powerful.
Aside from Classes, if there was another thing capable of making someone tremendously stronger, it was a Celestial Art.
They weren’t ordinary techniques like basic sword arts or martial skills.
