My Reconstruction Talent is too OP!!!
Chapter 165: Rewards
Kaiser placed his hand on the chest while Alex stood beside him, looking even more excited. Neither of them knew what kind of rewards were waiting inside.
Kaiser opened the chest, and a burst of dark green light immediately shot into the sky. Both of them narrowed their eyes as the intense light slowly faded, revealing six different objects floating inside the chest.
Kaiser immediately inspected the first item.
[Corrupted Heart of the Forest]
[Rank: Legendary]
[Type: Monster Core]
[Description: The condensed heart of the Forest of Sin. It contains a large amount of corrupted natural energy and a trace of the Greater Rule of Corruption.]
[Effect: Can be used as a core material for undead creation, equipment forging, alchemy, or other advanced rituals.]
[Special Effect: There is a 0.1% chance of comprehending the Greater Rule of Corruption.]
Kaiser’s eyes lit up when he saw the special effect.
’This is useful.’
"Especially the special effect. Although, given the chances, I doubt it will be of much use," Kaiser said.
Alex, who had also been examining the item, nodded in agreement. "Still, it’s better than nothing. If we use it alongside some comprehension and luck-boosting items, we might be able to increase the chances."
"Do you need it?" Kaiser asked.
Alex shook his head immediately. "No, you can keep it. I already have plenty of things from my inheritance to deal with, so I won’t need another one in the long run."
Kaiser nodded and stored the Corrupted Heart of the Forest in his inventory. Alex had already said that he did not need it, and Kaiser knew he could make better use of the item himself.
The two then turned their attention to the second reward.
It was a dark green seed covered in strange black veins. A faint aura of corruption constantly leaked from its surface, making the small seed look rather ominous.
[Seed of the Sin Tree]
[Rank: Legendary]
[Type: Special Material]
[Description: A seed created from the corrupted natural energy of the Forest of Sin. It can grow into a powerful corrupted plant when supplied with sufficient energy.]
[Special Effect: The plant can be tamed by the person whose blood is sacrificed during its growth.]
Kaiser looked at the description for a moment before realizing what it could become.
"This time, it’s a pet."
Alex’s eyes immediately lit up as he nodded. "I can use this one."
Kaiser did not hesitate and handed the seed to him. Since he could obtain almost any pet he wanted through his own methods, he had no reason to take an extra one from Alex.
’Alex needs it more than me.’
Alex carefully stored the Seed of the Sin Tree before they moved on to the third reward.
The third item was a small green crystal. Unlike the previous rewards, this crystal contained a concentrated form of pure Rule energy. Even without touching it, Kaiser could sense the powerful energy contained inside.
[Corruption Rule Crystal]
[Rank: Legendary]
[Type: Rule Material]
[Description: A crystal containing a portion of the Corruption Rule left behind by the Forest of Sin.]
[Effect: Can be used to comprehend, strengthen, or upgrade abilities related to Corruption.]
Kaiser carefully examined the crystal.
’This is probably the most valuable item here.’
"It’s practically a direct Rule comprehension item," Kaiser muttered.
Alex nodded but did not say anything. He had already made it clear that he did not need the remaining rewards, so Kaiser simply stored the Corruption Rule Crystal in his inventory before looking at the next item.
The fourth item was a dark green cloak. At first glance, it looked as though it had been made from tree bark, but the material was surprisingly soft and flexible. Strange black-green patterns covered its entire surface, giving it an unusual appearance.
[Sinwood Cloak]
[Rank: Legendary]
[Type: Equipment]
[Description: A cloak created from the condensed remains of the Forest of Sin.]
[Skills: Corruption Resistance, Natural Energy Manipulation, Regeneration Enhancement, Stealth in Forest Environments.]
[Special Effect: Sin Devourer — The cloak can absorb some forms of corrupted, Dark, Demonic, and natural energy and convert them into usable energy.]
Alex’s eyes immediately focused on the cloak.
"That’s actually pretty good."
Kaiser nodded. "It is."
He then looked toward Alex, who immediately shook his head.
"I won’t be taking any more items. I didn’t contribute enough to claim more rewards, so the rest are yours."
Kaiser nodded and stored the Sinwood Cloak in his inventory.
They then looked at the fifth reward.
It was a strange black-green flower. Despite its corrupted appearance, the flower was surprisingly beautiful, with delicate petals that seemed to contain both life energy and corruption.
[Flower of Corrupted Life]
[Rank: Legendary]
[Type: Alchemy Material]
[Description: A rare flower formed from the combination of powerful life energy and Corruption Rule energy.]
[Effect: Can be used to create potions, medicines, poisons, and special elixirs.]
[Special Effect: When properly refined, it may produce an elixir capable of permanently strengthening the user’s resistance against Rule-based corruption.]
Kaiser immediately thought of Marina.
’She could definitely create something useful with this.’
He carefully stored the flower in his inventory. With Marina’s alchemy abilities, there was a good chance the rare material could be turned into something extremely useful.
Finally, Kaiser looked at the sixth and last reward.
It was a dark green skill crystal. A faint image of countless roots could be seen moving inside the crystal as though an entire forest was trapped within it.
[Sin Forest Domain]
[Rank: Legendary]
[Type: Domain Skill]
[Description: A Domain Skill created from the power of the Forest of Sin.]
[Effect: Creates a corrupted forest within the user’s Domain. All plants within the Domain can be controlled by the user and strengthened by absorbing natural energy.]
[Additional Effect: Enemies within the Domain are gradually affected by Corruption.]
[Additional Effect: The strength of the Domain increases when more natural energy is available.]
Kaiser’s eyes widened slightly.
’A Domain Skill. Good.’
"That’s a pretty good skill," Alex said after reading its description. He then looked at Kaiser. "You don’t have a Domain yet, right? You’ll probably be able to make good use of it."
