"Insolence!" Just then, Chu Feng noticed what was happening and snorted coldly.

With a flick of his finger, a beam of sword light shot out, slashing toward the old woman.

The old woman, her face contorted with rage, had been trying to grab Su Miaoke and Chu Wushuang.

PFFT—

The beam of sword light sent the old woman staggering back. Her outstretched right hand was gashed open, and blood spurted from the wound.

Chu Feng rose to his feet. "What kind of scum are you?" he said sharply. "How dare you cause trouble at the Martial Arts Grand Ceremony? Attacking a junior, no less! Where are you from? State your name!"

"Venerable Chu Feng," the old woman retorted, "I am an Elder of Spirit Sword Valley. Those two insulted my sect. Am I not allowed to teach them a lesson?"

"The reason is irrelevant," Chu Feng stated. "Anyone who dares to fight during the Martial Arts Grand Ceremony—especially an elder attacking a junior cultivator—will be severely punished!"

"Venerable Chu Feng, do you know who you’re speaking to?" the old woman shot back, her gaze cold as ice, fixed intently on him.

She was seething with rage and had nowhere to vent it.

"And do you know who *I* represent? Get lost!" Chu Feng retorted coldly.

He showed her no courtesy whatsoever. How could he possibly tolerate someone acting so arrogantly before him, someone who had just tried to attack his wife and a Chu Family disciple?

At this point, the two Martial Arts Venerables from the Three Swords Sect hastily stepped forward to mediate.

"Venerable Chu Feng, Old Madam Yin Hua, the tournament is still in progress, and everyone is watching," said one of the Martial Arts Venerables from the Three Swords Sect. "This doesn’t look good. Whatever your grievances are, can they wait until after the competition is over?"

"Absolutely not! They dared to insult my Spirit Sword Valley. I don’t care who they are, I’m taking them with me for severe punishment!" The old woman was incredibly arrogant, completely ignoring the pleas from the so-called Three Swords Sect.

This made the expressions of the two Martial Arts Venerables from the Three Swords Sect darken. The old woman had shown them absolutely no respect.

And after saying this, the old woman once again reached for Su Miaoke and Chu Wushuang.

"You’re courting death!" Chu Feng roared.

He strode down from the viewing platform, making no attempt to hide the killing intent in his eyes. ’This old woman is far too arrogant!’

"It’s you who’s courting death, you brat," the old woman snarled back when she heard Chu Feng’s insult. Rage churned within her.

With that, the old woman flicked her sleeve at Chu Feng, and from within it, a single Silver Needle shot out.

A hidden weapon!

"Venerables," Chu Feng announced coldly, "this woman has dared to ignore the rules of the Martial Arts Grand Ceremony. By rights, she should be executed. I will carry out the sentence myself, effective immediately!"

He couldn’t care less about Spirit Sword Valley. He wouldn’t indulge anyone who dared to act so arrogantly in his presence.

"Well, well, what an arrogant brat! In all my years, this is the first time I’ve heard someone dare to say they would execute me," the old woman raged, her eyes practically shooting flames. "Don’t think you’re invincible just because you inherited the legacy of the Heaven-Slaying Sword Emperor. Even if the Heaven-Slaying Sword Emperor himself were still here, he wouldn’t dare provoke my Spirit Sword Valley!"

"Hah. Just because he didn’t dare doesn’t mean I don’t," Chu Feng said, done with wasting words. He formed a hand seal for his Sword Technique, and the Heaven-Slaying Sword flew from its sheath.

WHOOSH!

With a faint whistle, the longsword took to the air.

He immediately executed the Celestial Sword Technique, controlling the Flying Sword with his Divine Soul Power!

"Darling!" Su Miaoke cried out, her face deathly pale with worry.

"Wushuang, get your sister-in-law out of here. Now," Chu Feng commanded.

"Hmph. Chu Family, Celestial Sword Sect, you brought this on yourselves," the old woman sneered, her rage unabated. "Since you’re so determined to die, don’t blame Spirit Sword Valley for being ruthless."

Just then, Chu Feng’s Flying Sword slashed down.

Meanwhile, Bai Han’s brow furrowed.

"Gentlemen," Bai Han began, addressing the two Martial Arts Venerables from the Three Swords Sect, "deliberately disrupting the order of the Martial Arts Grand Ceremony is a capital offense, is it not?"

"Indeed," the two Martial Arts Venerables from the Three Swords Sect said, nodding. "Anyone who dares to cause trouble during the Martial Arts Grand Ceremony must be executed, regardless of their identity or power!"

"Then in that case," Bai Han continued, "if Venerable Chu Feng were to execute this person from Lingjian Valley, none of you would have any objections, correct? After all, Spirit Sword Valley clearly holds no respect for our Great Snow Mountain."

"None at all," said the two Martial Arts Venerables from the Three Swords Sect. "If he needs help, we can act right now!"

They had reached a consensus.

Of course, this was also because the old woman from Spirit Sword Valley had been outrageously arrogant.

She had refused all attempts at mediation and insisted on attacking Chu Feng’s wife. Anyone in his position would likely have done the same.

"We only need to watch. Venerable Chu Feng is more than enough to handle one old woman," Bai Han said lightly, confident that Chu Feng could indeed slay the Elder from Spirit Sword Valley.

At that moment, the battle between Chu Feng and the old woman from Spirit Sword Valley erupted. Bai Han and the two Venerables took it upon themselves to maintain order at the scene and prevent any panic among the spectators.
