The two men and two tigers fought ferociously for another dozen or so rounds.

The Great River Gang’s Left Guardian, Ma Feng, let out a great shout, seized an opportunity, and charged toward Ye Xing.

"Don’t worry, leave this to me! Go capture that kid, quickly!"

The Great River Gang’s Right Guardian, Niu Dequan, grit his teeth. With a powerful swing of his Nine-Ringed Saber, he trapped both Golden Tigers within its arc.

The claw strike was sharp, its speed incredibly fast.

Just as it seemed Ye Xing was about to be caught, suddenly—

"ROAR!"

The roar of a beast echoed throughout the entire Ye Mansion. A cyan afterimage shot forward at extreme speed, arriving before them in the blink of an eye.

The pupils of the Great River Gang’s Left Guardian, Ma Feng, contracted sharply. Before he could even get a clear look at what was in front of him, he felt a blow to his abdomen. His entire body was sent flying backward like a broken sack, and he crashed hard onto the ground, spitting blood.

"A Gale Leopard! Is it Level 6 or Level 7?" The Great River Gang’s Left Guardian, Ma Feng, wiped the blood from the corner of his mouth, his face a mask of horror as he stared ahead in shock and fear.

There, standing beside Ye Xing, was a leopard covered in cyan fur. It had sharp claws, snow-white teeth, and an aura of swirling air currents, radiating an extremely powerful and dangerous presence.

In Ma Feng’s opinion, for it to have such a powerful presence and be able to send him flying in a single move, leaving him no chance to fight back, it had to be at least a Sixth-level Demon Beast. More likely, it was a Tier Seven High-level Demon Beast.

"Level 8," Ye Xing said nonchalantly, the corner of his mouth curving into a slight smile.

At this point, the battle on the other side had also concluded. The Great River Gang’s Right Guardian, Niu Dequan, had been no match for a Golden Tiger to begin with, let alone fighting two at once. "No, no, no. If we’re talking about inferior skills, that would be me," Ye Xing said with a laugh. "You two esteemed seniors are both Martial Arts Fourth Realm masters with proficient Saber Skills. I am but a novice in the Martial Dao, with a meager Martial Arts Second Realm cultivation. I wouldn’t dare trade blows with you two. I can only send out my Demon Beast companions."

After a pause, Ye Xing continued, "Here at my Ye Mansion, we don’t have much of anything else, but we have an abundance of Demon Beasts and Gold Coins. If you two esteemed seniors were to join my Ye Mansion, how about I immediately purchase a Golden Tiger for each of you to be your Demon Beast companion?"

The Great River Gang’s Left and Right Guardians, Ma Feng and Niu Dequan, were both stunned. A flicker of keen interest appeared in their eyes.

"Is You Bin really dead?" the Great River Gang’s Left Guardian, Ma Feng, couldn’t help but ask.

"Yes, his body is buried on the back mountain. If he weren’t dead, how would I have gotten his token? Or have Xue Yong and Hong Hai use it to lure you here?" Ye Xing said with a smile.

"Was he killed by your Gale Leopard?" the Right Guardian, Niu Dequan, asked curiously from the side.

"No," Ye Xing said, shaking his head. "When You Bin came to my Ye Mansion, I had just returned from a long trip and hadn’t had the chance to buy the Gale Leopard yet."

"If the Gale Leopard didn’t kill him, then who did?" Ma Feng and Niu Dequan looked utterly confused. In their eyes, aside from the Level 8 Demon Beast, the Gale Leopard, no one present could have killed You Bin, a Martial Arts Sixth Realm expert. Even if the two Golden Tigers joined forces, they likely wouldn’t have been a match for You Bin.

For the Mansion Master to be able to kill You Bin, a Martial Arts Sixth Realm expert, his use of Hidden Weapons must have reached a state of perfection.’ The Great River Gang’s Left and Right Guardians, Ma Feng and Niu Dequan, exchanged a look and immediately nodded. "We are willing to join the Ye Mansion."

"Hehe, you two esteemed seniors are indeed reasonable. That makes things much simpler." Ye Xing smiled and took out a green bottle. He unscrewed the cap, revealing numerous green Heart-devouring Gu inside.

These Heart-devouring Gu were, of course, meant to control Ma Feng and Niu Dequan. There was an element of coercion in their surrender, so Ye Xing had to keep them firmly under his control, to be used as he saw fit.

"Heart-devouring Gu! Those are the Five Poison Sect’s Heart-devouring Gu!" The faces of Ma Feng and Niu Dequan changed drastically. They stared in terror at the small green insects in the bottle in Ye Xing’s hand.

"Hehe, you two are truly veterans of the martial world to actually recognize the Heart-devouring Gu." Ye Xing smiled faintly, took two Heart-devouring Gu from the bottle, and said coolly, "Hold out your palms."

Ma Feng and Niu Dequan’s faces were a little pale. They grit their teeth and finally held out their palms. Nearby, Xue Yong and Hong Hai quickly turned their heads away. The very sight of the green Heart-devouring Gu now sent a chill down their spines, making them extremely uncomfortable.
