This even made him wonder whether he had somehow fallen into some kind of illusion, or perhaps everything he was experiencing now was merely a product of his own imagination.

The moment this thought appeared, Joo Joowon immediately crushed it. Instead, he began searching for the weak point of this safe haven. After observing it for a long time, he discovered that he seemed to be inside an "eggshell." If he wanted to get out, he could only "break out of the shell."

But if he broke out of the shell, what would happen to his soul afterward? Would he still be able to return to this peaceful "safe haven"?

After hesitating for a moment, Joo Joowon’s remaining Mental Power "walked" out from within his soul and surged toward the "eggshell" like a flowing stream of water.

Although his perception told him that this was a "shell," in reality, this place was actually "nothingness." It was more similar to a kind of concept. Breaking out of the shell was not truly breaking out of a physical shell.

In any case, having his soul directly go outside would definitely be a bad idea. It was far too risky, and there was no way to predict exactly what he would encounter once he reached the outside. Therefore, it would be better to use Mental Power to probe the way forward. Even if something unexpected happened, at most, he would only lose some Mental Power.

Of course, this kind of loss would probably be the same as the Mental Power he had permanently lost before. It might never come back.

But he still decided to do it. He had discovered something astonishing. It seemed that the panel of the Age of Apocalypse was not bound to his soul?

No one knew how much time had passed when a tremendous "rumble" suddenly seemed to sound right beside his ears. Joo Joowon only felt himself being drawn by some mysterious force. His Mental Power trembled, faintly giving him the feeling that it was about to scatter outward.

This kind of scattering was not a collapse or dissipation. It was a separation, like the seeds of a dandelion being blown away by the wind, scattering in all directions.

This was not a good thing for Joo Joowon. If his Mental Power began acting independently, each part following its own will, it would only turn him into someone with multiple personalities.

Fortunately, Joo Joowon had some experience with gathering his Mental Power back together. He guarded his mind and quickly stabilized his Mental Power. Only then did he have the time to look around, and he was immediately somewhat stunned by what he saw.

It was as if he had entered a magnificent fantasy amusement park. What entered his eyes were all kinds of strange creatures, creatures so miraculous that even exhausting the limits of his imagination could not allow him to create them. Yet every single one of them looked so natural and harmonious, as if they were species that had naturally evolved within the natural world.

The entire world gave Joo Joowon a feeling of vastness and boundlessness.

Yes, this place could no longer be called a space. It could only be described as a world, a world belonging exclusively to spiritual beings.

There had never been a moment when Joo Joowon was more certain than he was now that this place was the Sea of Quanta.

It was simply the "shore" of the Sea of Quanta.

The soul exists by relying on the real world and is closely connected to reality. Therefore, the place where souls reside is the gap and boundary between the Sea of Quanta and the real world, while the real world and the Sea of Quanta themselves belong to two parallel planes, with no overlap between them.

In a vague and indistinct way, Joo Joowon sensed some information being conveyed from this world.

"Soulshore."

The creatures living in the Sea of Quanta called this place the Soulshore. He could also faintly sense the aura of the second layer of the Sea of Quanta. That place was the "Sea of Minds," or it could also be called the "Dream Realm."

That place had already completely broken away from reality and was connected to the minds of all living beings.

Although Joo Joowon could sense the second layer, he could not enter it. That was a realm that only beings who had completely stepped into the supernatural could enter. A creature like him, which could only use Mental Power but was unable to pry open or manipulate mysterious forces, had no qualifications to enter.

This was the Sea of Quanta’s restriction, which could also be called protection.

Joo Joowon looked around. The plants and trees in the Soulshore were different from those in the real world. They were all semi-transparent and covered in a layer of radiant light. That radiance was not so much the brilliance of treasures as it was more like the radiance of their own souls.

Every single one of them had a soul.

Their sense of presence was extremely strong. To put it simply, every single one of them gave Joo Joowon the feeling that if they fought, his chances of winning would be one in ten.

If they hit him once, he would immediately have to cry for help.

Therefore, Joo Joowon remained standing where he was and did not act rashly. Since this was the Sea of Quanta, then how was he supposed to absorb Quanta Energy?

Joo Joowon "closed" his eyes and tried his best to sense the so-called Quanta Energy.

As his thoughts gradually emptied, he developed a feeling of "soul leaving the body." Even though he was already in an out-of-body state, he still somehow experienced this sensation.

His "eyes," or perhaps they could be called "soul eyes," saw countless faintly glowing particles drifting freely through the air. They looked completely harmless, but Joo Joowon had an instinctive feeling that the moment he touched them, his current body would immediately collapse because it could not withstand them.
