Organizing things was not difficult for him. His apartment was only so large, and if he did not keep everything organized, the cats would start running around and knocking things over whenever they played. Then he would have to spend a long time tidying everything up again. Because of this, he had already gained quite a bit of experience in organizing and storing things efficiently.

Joo Joowon placed all the supplies that could be stored together in the same place, compressing the space as much as possible.

Anything that could be vacuum sealed was vacuum sealed and apart from his underwear and a few outer layers, he did not bring any other clothes at all. He planned to take out his newbie equipment and wear that once he ran out of clothes in the future.

If he truly had nothing left to wear, then after settling down, he could simply go to a shopping mall, clothing store, or somewhere similar and bring back some seasonal clothes.

There was no need to waste precious storage space carrying clothes around. Only survival supplies were truly worth taking with him. With spider silk helping him, organizing all the supplies did not take Joo Joowon very long.

He picked up his backpack and placed it in front of Bomi. "Sorry, you’ll have to stay here for the time being. We’re moving."

Bomi slowly moved its roots, somewhat unable to understand what Joo Joowon meant. However, it did understand the part about Joo Joowon asking it to go inside. It pulled its roots out reluctantly and slowly moved into the backpack, clearly unwilling to leave.

Being separated from "soil" temporarily was not a serious problem for it. It would not become half dead simply because of that. However, as a plant, it naturally disliked being in such a state.

Joo Joowon knew that Bomi was not a lifeless object, so he patiently and gently comforted it. After it went inside, he also put Songi and Foxtail Grass into the backpack, while the remaining "flower fertilizer" was all wrapped up with spider silk and taken along with them.

"Meow?" All the things Joo Joowon was doing were not particularly confusing to Byeol. He had moved homes with Joo Joowon several times before, so he still had some memories of what this kind of thing meant.

However, he could not quite understand why they had to leave when they had been living here perfectly well. Unless it was absolutely necessary, cats would never leave their territory.

The only reason a cat would give up its territory was if a stronger cat defeated it and took over its territory. But there clearly was no enemy occupying this place.

Joo Joowon stroked Byeol and said, "Good boy, let’s go."

After pushing the door open, Joo Joowon immediately collected all the spider silk that had originally served as a completely airtight defensive barrier and broke it down into silk liquid.

He also did not forget the few silk cocoons that had been bound by the spider boss, carrying them downstairs as well.

There was nowhere suitable to bury them at the moment, so Joo Joowon directly used the courtyard on the first floor. Using spider silk, he overturned the soil, opened the silk cocoons, and let them return to the earth.

Although the silk cocoons could serve as coffins, Joo Joowon figured that if they had a choice, they probably would not be particularly happy about spending their eternal rest after death inside the very things that had killed them.

Of course, once the silk cocoons were opened, all that remained inside was nothing more than a puddle of liquid. For most of them, not even bone fragments remained.

After filling the soil back in and leveling the ground, Joo Joowon buried the remaining spider silk along with them instead of recovering it. That way, he would not have to feel disgusted whenever he thought about it.

After confirming that, apart from the difference in color caused by the freshly turned soil, there was absolutely no way to tell that a grave had once been dug there, Joo Joowon left.

It was the apocalypse now.

If people suddenly saw a mound of freshly raised soil somewhere, they might think that some kind of hidden opportunity had been buried there and dig it up to take a look. Therefore, it was better to disguise the place as though nothing had ever been there. After all, no one would be coming back to pay their respects anyway.

Byeol and Hwi followed Joo Joowon, but they looked back at the courtyard. Although they did not understand Joo Joowon’s actions, the fact that they were leaving their original territory made them unusually serious throughout the process. They did not show their usual playfulness or impatience. Instead, they remained alert and carefully watched their surroundings.

Joo Joowon carried a pile of supplies and easily made his way to the entrance of the residential complex. He immediately noticed that quite a few people had gathered around the wheel loader.

They seemed to be trying to open the driver’s door so they could drive the wheel loader away themselves. Unfortunately, they did not have the key, so they had been discussing with the people around them what they should do. Should they give up, or should they simply take the fuel instead?

Although they were deliberately keeping their voices low, the noisy discussion was still quite obvious. If not for the traces of Joo Joowon’s mental power remaining around the wheel loader as a deterrent, the noise would probably have attracted zombies long ago.

Joo Joowon frowned slightly. He was not surprised by this situation. After all, with such a massive vehicle sitting right there, it would have been strange if nobody had taken an interest in it.

Joo Joowon was not worried about someone stealing the vehicle. His mental imprint was still on it, so there was no way it could escape his sight no matter where they took it. What he was mainly worried about was them damaging the wheel loader.
