‘How bold…!’

Clarvis looked at that Rank-C Alien, an ordinary ant that even dared to try approaching the figure he respected so deeply and considered so sacred.

He couldn’t understand what qualifications they had to possess the courage to do such a thing.

While watching that creature in silence, Clarvis just smiled thinly. He didn’t even need to intervene, the cult members could kill that creature as long as they worked as a group.

This could be good additional training since lately, they’d had trouble becoming stronger with so many Aliens chasing them.

Most of them were very strong, so there’d been quite a few cult members who had to be sacrificed just to flee safely.

For this particular one, Clarvis didn’t need to worry at all because the situation was right under his control.

He watched everything unfold carefully, making sure no one was in danger due to a mistake.

‘Oh right, how’s the Most Sacred One doing?’

Because that sacred figure was in the hands of the human from that safezone, Clarvis could assume that the figure he worshipped would surely be fine.

Besides, that man had many rumors around him. Clarvis knew this thanks to spies stationed in the safezone who kept providing the latest news nonstop.

He turned slightly, trying to find the presence of that sacred figure and the man, but…

‘Not there? Where did they go?’

He glanced around but found no one. At that moment, a strange feeling enveloped Clarvis’s chest, his heart pounding so fast, full of fear.

His body lifted from the ground, and he started hovering in the sky. His Mana expanded, creating a small zone that functioned as a radar for the surrounding area, then Clarvis found that he couldn’t locate either of them anywhere.

The fear that had initially come only from guessing now made Clarvis’s face darken, full of emotion so irritated and old.

He fell silent.

‘No, no, no, this isn’t possible…! This can’t be happening…! This is very impossible!’

His breath came ragged as he raised his hand, scratching his own face so hard that he slowly started tearing his own skin.

“The Most Sacred One would not leave us.”

He’d done everything he could, giving prayers, giving hope, and giving the energy that little girl would really need for her recovery.

But, what was this?

In that irrational state, Clarvis angrily tried to find the most rational reason based on his current difficulty.

“That man! Yes, it must be him! He must have done something. Why? Why? Why?”

Down there, the cult members had already finished what they were doing. The Rank-C Alien was dead, and the cult members looked at Clarvis, realizing something was wrong.

No one dared to approach, they just watched with concern as Clarvis suddenly started screaming.

“WHY DO YOU ALWAYS RUIN THINGS FOR ME!?”

His fury made the Mana in the surrounding environment tremble.

“What… is this…?”

Following Felicya’s direction, Julian walked through the forest for several minutes.

He was lucky because on his journey, there were no Aliens that happened to pass by or that were actually chasing them.

His journey was very safe until finally, Julian arrived at a small, fairly open area.

It looked like a long-abandoned shelter, seeing torn tents, full of dust and dirt.

There were wooden boxes, remains of a campfire, and various other shelter necessities, built to accommodate dozens of people at once.

But, did that matter?

Julian’s gaze stopped on a distorted area. The air cracked in that section, showing a natural phenomenon that couldn’t be explained even after seeing it with the naked eye.

It was a Breach, moreover, a Breach that seemed to have opened not too long ago.

However, that Breach felt strange. The Mana enveloping that Breach was very faint, no bent or heavy atmosphere, just something vague and pale.

This was…

“An inactive Breach?”

That was strange.

This Breach had just opened, but its condition was already inactive?

Was there a powerful Alien that had immediately killed the Alien coming from this Breach, creating this situation?

Julian started feeling danger thinking about that, but he glanced toward Felicya, whose eyes were open listlessly, continuously staring at the Breach with a complicated and hard-to-understand emotion.

“You wanted us to come here, now what?”

Right. Felicya was the one who’d guided Julian to come here, toward this Breach.

At first, Julian thought Felicya might have brought him here to survive in this shelter or something similar. But, with a Breach here, didn’t that feel wrong?

Julian hesitated for a moment, he kept looking at Felicya, who just stayed silent, saying nothing, waiting for an answer.

Then, at that moment, Felicya’s eyes shifted to a certain place. She was looking toward an intact wooden box, located near that tattered tent.

Julian looked in the same direction with confusion, then…

Bruk—!

“Eekh—! Please spare me!”

A voice that felt soft, small was heard, Julian wanted to say it was a female voice, but it felt too shrill for him to be sure.

Moreover, the way of speaking once again felt so strange.

‘Another Alien that can speak human language?’

Julian immediately became alert, his gaze sharpening. Even though that creature sounded afraid, he had no intention of lowering his guard at all.

Then, at that moment, the box immediately opened, revealing two furry blue rabbit ears stretching upward, along with bright blue hair hiding beneath.

“….?”

After that, a head with bright blue hair and furry blue ears rose up, revealing an Alien with a strange build.

It seemed to have skin similar to a human’s, its eyes also large and perfectly round, and maybe because it really did resemble a human, Julian could see from its face that this Alien was very frightened.

Then, after that, it stepped out hesitantly, revealing its full appearance.

‘I swear, that has to be a rabbitkin.’

And, indeed so, this Alien could really be called a rabbit human just by looking at its body shape, the same as a human’s.

Only a few parts were different, like its large eyes, its furry ears, a perfectly round blue fur tail, and finally its somewhat large and long legs.

After a moment, the rabbit Alien looked at Julian and Felicya with pure fear, lowering its head with cold sweat.

“S-sorry! I didn’t know this was your territory, please don’t kill me!”

…This was a strange situation.
