My Cat Turned Beastman Won't Stop Kissing My Neck

Chapter 94: What’s the Temperature of a Beastman’s Mouth?

Although Chi Heng had no desire to play along with the drama king, Chi Ye, an inexplicable feeling still surged within him when Wen Qian’s gaze fell upon him.

He lowered his eyes, his chiseled jaw tensing. After a long moment, he stiffly forced out three words: "I’m so dizzy."

The tension that had kept Chi Ye on edge finally dissipated. He let out a long sigh and shot Wen Qian an I-told-you-so look.

Wen Qian frowned. "Is there a first-aid kit?"

Just then, Ling Xuan came downstairs. Hearing Wen Qian, she immediately nodded. "It’s on the second floor."

Wen Qian nodded, then her gaze landed on Chi Heng. "Come here."

Chi Heng looked up, his gaze seemingly pulled toward her. An instant later, he started walking in Wen Qian’s direction.

Yin Zhi froze for a moment. Realizing what was happening, he immediately moved to stop them, but Chi Ye grabbed his outstretched hand. Chi Ye flashed an exceptionally bright smile. "Young Master, I don’t think those people just now were ordinary. We need to have a serious talk."

Yin Zhi shook him off. "Get lost..."

Chi Ye quickly took two steps to block Yin Zhi again, his tone urgent. "I think those people were after the Critical Stone! We can’t be careless about this!"

"Seriously, can’t you understand what I’m saying...?" Yin Zhi tried to get around him, but Chi Ye blocked him whichever way he moved. The two were stuck in a stalemate.

Watching Wen Qian and Chi Heng disappear at the top of the second-floor staircase, Yin Zhi retracted his gaze. He quietly studied Chi Ye, his beautiful eyes narrowing into a dangerous glint. "You did that on purpose."

"Of course not!" Chi Ye denied. He then puffed out his chest and declared righteously, "I’m doing this for the sake of the Beast World! The most urgent task right now is to figure out who those people were!"

Startled by his booming voice, Yin Zhi took a wary step back. "Are you insane?"

Chi Ye: "...?"

’Anyone could see that those people were after the Critical Stone. As for their identities, Yin Zhi had already sent people to investigate on the way here. Did he really need Chi Ye to tell him?’

’For this guy to keep blocking him over such a trivial matter... Yin Zhi seriously suspected he’d gotten his brains scrambled by those people earlier.’

"Seriously, how can your words be so cold?" Chi Ye was speechless.

However, the thought that he had finally created an opportunity for his dear nephew and the young female to be alone together eased some of Chi Ye’s frustration.

"First of all, a Beastman’s mouth isn’t just 36.5 degrees. Second, your question was rather moronic." Distracted by the interruption, Yin Zhi simply sat down on the sofa.

The young man leaned his head back to rest, naturally crossing his legs. After a moment, he sat up, picked up the cup Wen Qian had used from the table, and took a sip of water, smacking his lips a couple of times in a good mood.

’Chi Ye also felt his question was a bit brainless, but for the sake of his dear nephew’s happiness, he had no choice but to accept it.’

After a while, Ling Xuan came down from upstairs and went straight to the kitchen to cook a bowl of noodles for each of them. Yin Zhi and Chi Ye sat facing each other, both eating in silence.

「Second-floor guest room.」

Wen Qian had Chi Heng sit down, then rummaged through the first-aid kit for the necessary supplies.

She stood quietly in front of him and carefully brushed aside the bangs from his forehead, revealing a thumb-length gash.

’Wen Qian was speechless for a moment. She felt that Chi Heng was cuter in his beast form; at least when he was hurt, he would whimper and whine. Now, he was like a mute. No matter what she asked, it was always "I’m fine," "It’s okay," or "It’s nothing"...’

Wen Qian cleaned the wounds on his forehead and arm with hydrogen peroxide. Then, as if to test something, she soaked a cotton swab in iodine and pressed it against his wound, not too gently and not too hard. Her voice was steady. "Does it hurt?"

The man instinctively started to shake his head, but then, as if he remembered something, he parted his dry lips. "It’s fine."

So she applied a little more pressure. "How about now?"

The man’s brow furrowed imperceptibly, his voice deepening slightly. "It’s fine."

Wen Qian rolled her eyes. After hesitating for a long moment, she decided against picking up the rubbing alcohol next to her. Her voice took on an edge of displeasure. "If it hurts, say so."

When he didn’t respond, she added, "Did you hear me?"

The man’s Adam’s apple bobbed. After a long moment, he pressed his lips together and said, "Okay."

Wen Qian was very close to him. As she leaned down, Chi Heng could even feel her breath. ’He heard his own heartbeat grow faster and faster, and his ears began to burn. He kept his head down, not daring to look into Wen Qian’s eyes again.’

"What about the injuries on your body?" Wen Qian asked after treating the wounds on his arm and forehead.

Chi Heng was about to say it was nothing, but then he seemed to remember something, and his face suddenly flushed red.

"Why is your face so red?" Wen Qian looked down at him. Seeing his evasive eyes, she tilted her head and leaned in closer. "Is it serious? Take off your clothes and let me see..."

’If it were anyone else, Wen Qian would have been shy. But this guy... was there anything she hadn’t seen?’

Seeing that Chi Heng wasn’t moving, Wen Qian took matters into her own hands and started unbuttoning his shirt. Then, as if a thought occurred to her, she nonchalantly pressed a hand against his chest.

’Oh my god, so this is what pecs feel like!’

A storm was raging in Wen Qian’s heart, but her face betrayed nothing. Even Chi Heng thought her touch had been accidental.

Just like his torn shirt, the man’s body was covered in countless fine scars.

The scars were of varying depths. Most had been inflicted by the Mutated Bat Wings, but the recent struggle had torn open many of the wounds that had been close to healing.

Wen Qian couldn’t help but gasp. ’Werewolves really have an incredible tolerance for pain,’ she thought. ’With so many injuries, he hadn’t made a single sound.’

She carefully applied medicine to his wounds, her gaze eventually falling on a half-exposed gash near the bottom. It looked more gruesome than any of the others, partially hidden by his pants.

Without a second thought, Wen Qian reached out to pull down Chi Heng’s pants. The man instinctively braced his hands behind him, his body leaning back automatically. In that instant, his ears suddenly popped out...

When he had transformed into a Werewolf earlier, his loose sweatpants had been stretched out even more. Now they hung loosely on his body, ready to be pulled off with the slightest tug.

"Qianqian..." The man freed one hand to grab her wrist. Wen Qian looked up and met his fervent gaze, confused for a moment. The next second, the man’s hoarse voice sounded by her ear, "I’m injured right now."

"I know," Wen Qian said, trying to pull her hand away, but she couldn’t.

Chi Heng: "So... my body is more sensitive..."

Her eyes widened abruptly as she finally realized what he meant. Her gaze flickered downward, then shot back up. Flustered, she scrambled off of Chi Heng.

"You-you-you, you can do it yourself..." Wen Qian shoved all the medical supplies at him in a rush.

The man’s gaze was a little evasive, but he still gave a quiet, "Okay."
