Asleep? Summer Shawcross showed a surprised expression on her face. She somewhat admired him; could he really fall asleep in such a short time?

She sighed silently but didn’t make a sound to wake him. Instead, she suddenly quieted down and stared at his sleeping face for a moment.

Noah Drexler’s eyes were usually so cold and sharp that it was almost impossible to see any hint of fatigue on his face while he was awake.

But now that his eyes were closed, she could see a trace of exhaustion on his face.

He must be really tired these days. So tired that even falling onto the floor, he could close his eyes and fall asleep.

Thinking this, her heart couldn’t help but ache for him.

So she didn’t say another word, just obediently rested her head back on his chest, feeling his heartbeat and his breathing.

And her determination to detoxify herself was becoming stronger and stronger.

This time, no matter what, she simply had to succeed.

...

Two months later.

Narsus City had entered autumn. The weather was gradually cooling down, and the maple trees by the roadside were starting to turn yellow, giving the whole city a different kind of beauty.

In the evening, Noah Drexler’s car finally returned to The Hillside Villa.

The car stopped at the villa entrance, where Sean Morgan, who had been waiting, walked over to open the car door for Noah Drexler.

"Boss." But Noah Drexler still didn’t glance at him, instead stepping out of the car with long strides and walking straight into the villa.

For more than two months, Noah Drexler had not forgiven Sean Morgan, nor restored his position.

Sean Morgan knew the mistake he made was serious, so he didn’t have any extravagant hopes but had to stay temporarily by Summer Shawcross’ side.

On the second floor, Noah Drexler pushed open the door to the bedroom, but the figure he expected to see was not there.

Just as he frowned, suddenly... a small fist swung towards his face.

The sudden attack caused Noah Drexler’s expression to change, and his dark eyes instantly became sharp.

Noah Drexler reacted in time, swiftly dodging, and a petite figure quickly flashed in front of him. His expression of vigilance immediately changed.

Seeing him dodge her attack, the woman lifted her leg again, aiming a kick at the man, but once again, Noah Drexler easily avoided her attack. Compared to his earlier look of sudden wariness at being attacked, his face now showed signs of amusement!

Soon, the woman launched a third round of attacks, swinging her hand towards him again.

Noah Drexler raised his eyebrows, effortlessly dodging with ease once more.

From start to finish, all he did was dodge. It couldn’t even be called defense, let alone counterattack.

Seeing him dodge repeatedly with that relaxed look on his face, the woman became somewhat anxious, and her moves became chaotic, just desperately trying to hit him.

Seeing the situation, an expression of helplessness passed through Noah Drexler’s eyes, and he had to suddenly lift his hand and grasp her wrist just as she was about to strike his face again.

Now, with her movements limited, the woman’s expression changed, becoming even more anxious.

In the chaos, she reflexively lifted her leg, aiming a kick at... a certain sensitive spot of Noah Drexler!

Her stance made Noah Drexler’s face change instantly!
