Chapter 786: Is Noah Drexler Really Driving Sean Morgan Away?

  • Next Chapter

The sudden noise startled Summer Shawcross, who was almost asleep. She got up from the sofa and glanced in the direction of the door.

"Come in."

As soon as she finished speaking, the door was pushed open from the outside, and Katherine Irving walked in, looking anxious.

"Ma’am, something’s wrong, something’s wrong!" Katherine said anxiously.

"What happened?" Seeing Katherine’s expression, Summer paused, wondering what urgent matter had occurred.

"It’s Sean Morgan. The boss wants to fire him. What should we do..." Katherine looked at Summer helplessly, so anxious she was about to cry.

"Noah Drexler wants to fire Sean Morgan?"

Katherine’s words left Summer in shock. She couldn’t believe it and questioned her, thinking she must have misheard.

How could Noah Drexler possibly fire Sean Morgan...

Sean has been with Noah Drexler for so long, he’s his most capable assistant. Why would he suddenly want to fire him?

"It’s true! I asked Sean, but he wouldn’t say why. I heard from other bodyguards that the boss seemed to want to fire him because of betrayal, and he’s given orders for him to leave The Hillside Villa quickly and never return, so Sean is still standing downstairs." Katherine continued.

"Ma’am, Sean is definitely not that kind of person. You should go and talk to the boss!" Katherine was very worried. Sean is so loyal to the boss, how could he possibly take this well now that he’s being fired!

Hearing Katherine’s account, the expression on Summer’s face grew more and more surprised, and she quickly got up from the sofa.

"I’ll go down and have a look."

With that, she left the bedroom with Katherine and headed downstairs.

As Summer came downstairs, Sean Morgan was standing at the door.

Several bodyguards stood around him, helplessly trying to persuade Sean.

"Sean, you should leave for now. Once the boss calms down, we can put in a good word for you."

"Yeah, the boss wants you to leave. Standing here refusing to go will only get us into trouble..."

But no matter what they said, Sean stood there unmoving.

Seeing the scene, Summer finally believed Katherine’s words.

Is Noah Drexler really trying to force Sean to leave?

"Ma’am!" The bodyguards turned around, surprised to see Summer appear suddenly.

"You all can go back. You don’t need to stand here anymore." Summer looked at the bodyguards beside Sean, suddenly saying.

Upon hearing this, the bodyguards looked troubled.

"But the boss..." The boss ordered Sean to leave, and they couldn’t just explain away this intervention.

"I’ll take responsibility!" Summer said decisively.

Upon hearing her, the bodyguards exchanged glances and finally nodded.

"Alright then."

Saying this, they turned and left.

Only then did Sean turn his head to look at Summer, and when he saw Katherine behind her, his usually honest face showed a change in expression.

"Katherine, who told you to go find ma’am!" He asked Katherine unhappily.

"I..." Katherine’s face immediately turned guilty when he said this.

Seeing this, Summer quickly spoke up to explain.

"I heard the noise downstairs and came to check it out, it’s got nothing to do with her."

"Ma’am..." Sean looked at Summer helplessly.

"What exactly is going on?" Summer asked Sean, full of confusion.
