"Just in time, I have something to discuss with you." After pursing his lips and saying this, he strode towards the study.

Seeing this, Sean Morgan nodded and hurried to catch up with his steps.

A moment later, inside the study.

When Sean entered, Noah Drexler was standing with his back to him, but even without seeing his face, he knew how grim his boss’s expression was at that moment.

"Last night at the entrance of the lab, was it intentional?" At this time, Noah’s voice slowly echoed.

Hearing Noah’s words, the expression on Sean’s face changed slightly.

Just as he was about to say something, Noah suddenly turned around, looked at Sean behind him, and then said with a grave and cold expression.

"There’s a new car under Katherine’s name; she is tracking us."

It was only when he returned earlier and saw a strange car parked at the entrance that he became suspicious. He casually sent the license plate to his assistant for investigation, and only then discovered some clues.

Listening to Noah’s words, Sean remained silent, just lowering his head.

"You should have noticed long ago?" Noah looked at him and continued to ask.

Sean had been by his side for many years; he knew well about Sean’s abilities. With someone of Katherine’s tracking skills, he shouldn’t have failed to notice.

"Yes." Sean sighed, nodded, and admitted.

Indeed, he had already noticed Katherine tracking them and had guessed that Madam must have sensed something was wrong and thus sent Katherine to follow them.

However, he didn’t expose her, and even when Katherine’s car followed them to the lab, he pretended not to see.

Seeing Sean admit to it, the anger on Noah’s face finally surfaced.

"Why?" he looked at Sean, angrily questioning.

This behavior amounted to betraying him.

"I’m sorry, boss, I wanted Madam to know the truth and stop you." Sean lowered his head and explained.

The reason he did this was that he didn’t want his boss to take such risks, because he knew that in this world, only Madam could change his mind.

So when he learned that Katherine was tracking them, he deliberately pretended not to know.

After listening to Sean’s explanation, Noah’s expression didn’t ease at all; instead, it became increasingly grim.

After a moment of silence, Noah pursed his lips and coldly said,

"I’m very disappointed in you."

As he said this, his eyes glinted with an icy light, mercilessly continuing,

"From now on, you don’t have to follow me anymore."

As soon as he finished speaking, Sean’s body suddenly jolted, and immediately, he lifted his head full of surprise, looking at Noah and hurriedly said,

"Boss, this kind of thing will never happen again, please forgive me this time!" Sean’s face was full of tension.

Having followed his boss for so many years, loyal and devoted, he never expected that now the boss would actually want to drive him away!

Facing Sean’s pleading, the expression on Noah’s face only grew colder.

"I don’t need people who betray me!" After throwing out these words, he turned around and briskly left the study, leaving Sean alone in a daze.

...

After Noah left, Summer Shawcross leaned on the sofa to rest for a while, mindlessly watching the small fish in the bathtub on the coffee table.

It wasn’t until evening that the bedroom door was hurriedly knocked.
