My Aloof Husband, Mr. Drexler, Dotes Me Excessively
Chapter 737: My Turn!
Since she didn’t turn her head to look, Summer Shawcross tried a few times with her fingers, but she couldn’t successfully touch his pocket, let alone take the wallet!
Just as she wore an embarrassed expression and planned to sneak a peek, something suddenly appeared in her hand.
She was stunned, grabbed it, and brought it up to her eyes – it was Noah Drexler’s black wallet.
She immediately broke into a smile and then generously announced to Katherine Irving!
"See, I’ve got money, we can play as much as we like!"
Seeing the wallet in her hand, a joyful smile spread across Katherine Irving’s face, and she said to Summer Shawcross with great admiration!
"Wow! Mrs. Shawcross, you’re amazing!"
"..." Sean Morgan looked at that black wallet, feeling a sudden suspicion arise in his heart, as the wallet seemed very familiar...
"..." Observing Summer Shawcross’s delighted demeanor, Noah Drexler’s lips curled up slightly.
He was probably the first man in the world who, far from being upset about having his wallet stolen, actually handed it over himself!
...
Seeing Summer Shawcross holding the wallet with such gallantry, the stall owner beamed with joy, hurrying to hand two sets of little rings for tossing to the ladies.
"With such beautiful ladies, I’m sure your luck is great, and you should be able to win a lot of prizes!"
Summer Shawcross smiled, took the plastic rings, and wore them on her wrist. While contemplating the best angle to catch the little hamster munching on peanuts, Katherine Irving suddenly suggested.
"Mrs. Shawcross, shall we have a competition to see who hits more?"
"Sure!" Hearing Katherine Irving’s suggestion, Summer Shawcross, in a good mood, readily agreed.
Katherine Irving gestured for her to throw first.
Summer Shawcross picked a plastic ring and tossed it towards the cage with a little squirrel at the farthest point.
Unfortunately, she didn’t use enough force, causing the ring to land near a little alarm clock with nothing caught.
Summer Shawcross wasn’t too discouraged, after all, it was just the first try, and hitting on the first go isn’t that simple.
"My turn!" Katherine Irving exclaimed with excitement, then picked up the plastic ring, choosing to aim for a nearby ceramic bear instead of the little hamster initially. She tested the angles with her hand a few times before tossing it.
The plastic ring landed perfectly on the bear, capturing it.
Summer Shawcross was a bit surprised, not expecting Katherine Irving to be so skilled. But thinking about it, even though Katherine Irving was a bit younger, she surely had great agility and dexterity.
"Sean, am I not amazing?" Katherine Irving exclaimed joyfully.
"Cough, cough..." Sean Morgan suddenly coughed.
Katherine Irving turned her head, noticing Sean Morgan’s uneasy expression, she couldn’t help showing a hint of confusion.
"What’s wrong..."
Recalling the scene during the mahjong game at Greenwood Manor last time, Sean Morgan couldn’t help but feel a bit worried. For Katherine Irving’s safety, Sean Morgan stared at her for a few seconds, then seriously advised her.
"We should go somewhere else."
"No way, the competition just started, and I haven’t even hit one yet. You guys can’t leave!" Upon hearing they wanted to leave, Summer Shawcross was a bit displeased.
Her competitive spirit had just been stirred, so naturally, she couldn’t let them leave.
