"Uh... no..." She was stunned for a moment, quickly shaking her head in denial.

Seeing her denial, Noah Drexler looked at her with suspicion.

No? But her reaction just now was so intense!

Faced with his suspicious expression, Summer Shawcross felt embarrassed, biting her lip as she tried to explain but couldn’t find the words to describe her previous reaction.

"It’s very strange..." She pursed her lips, speaking but then shaking her head again, "No, that’s not right either!"

Very strange?

Upon hearing this, Noah Drexler’s face fell, furrowing his brows as he looked down at the conflicted woman in his arms, thinking about how to describe Noah Drexler’s current demeanor.

Just as his face darkened, feeling annoyed and wanting to change clothes, the woman in his arms, who had been conflicted for quite a while, suddenly lifted her head, finally finding the right word.

"It’s like you’ve suddenly become gentle, which is a bit hard to get used to." She looked at Noah Drexler, whose face had gained a touch of gentleness, contrasted by the white suit which diminished the sharpness and coldness, speaking softly.

She didn’t know why she felt this way, perhaps because white itself is a gentle color, directly opposite to the sternness of black.

Over the years, she’d only seen him wear black suits, and today was the first time seeing him wear something other than a white shirt, and it was an all-white suit, which scared her for a moment, almost thinking she was seeing things.

After hearing her explanation, Noah Drexler’s face changed, slightly displeased as he asked her.

"Just a bit? Summer Shawcross, am I very harsh to you?"

How harsh had he been to her in the past, that she would feel he had become gentle just because of an outfit?

Looking at the man’s displeased demeanor, Summer Shawcross couldn’t help but sigh.

"See, now you’re being harsh to me again."

She just said he seemed much gentler, but he immediately revealed his true colors.

Indeed... this man is probably destined to be unrelated to gentleness for his lifetime.

Listening to her words, Noah Drexler’s face stiffened, his expression immediately turned awkward.

At this moment, Butler Leaf wheeled in from outside the hall.

Master Drexler was reclining on the wheelchair.

"Sir, Madam, Master Drexler is here, can the wedding begin?" Sean Morgan arrived at the foot of the stairs, speaking softly to the two on the steps.

Hearing Sean Morgan’s words, Summer Shawcross nodded, left Noah Drexler’s embrace, lifted her dress, and walked down the steps towards the door.

Master Drexler reclined in the wheelchair, watching the duo walk towards him, his weary eyes suddenly gleaming brightly.

His gaze was fixed on Summer Shawcross in her wedding dress, slowly forming a smile on his face.

"So alike..."

A moment of trance...

At this moment, he saw his younger self leading the youthful Amber towards this side, his hands placed on the wheelchair trembled excitedly.

Summer Shawcross and Noah Drexler arrived before Master Drexler, and upon seeing his muddled state, Summer couldn’t help but be taken aback.

"Master Drexler, he..."

Butler Leaf sighed, "The wedding can begin."

Upon hearing this, Summer Shawcross nodded, glanced at Noah Drexler beside her.

Noah Drexler led her to the entrance of the hall.

Inside the lavish hall, melodious and beautiful piano sounds echoed, followed by many pink rose petals slowly drifting down from above...
