Mr. Law's Official Announcement: He is a Wife-Doting Fanatic!

Chapter 620: Don’t Touch Him, He’s Too Dirty

  • Next Chapter

After finishing these things, Cecilia finally breathed a sigh of relief.

She was just treating Felix the way he treated others, and seeing that frightened look in his eyes, Cecilia felt nothing.

She even amusingly walked up to him and patted Felix on the shoulder.

"Eldest Young Master Lockwood, why do I feel like you’re a bit of a coward?"

"According to TV shows, these red coffins are the most likely to produce vengeful spirits, especially when the mother and child are buried together with resentment. Won’t you have nightmares at night?"

...

Felix was so scared that his legs went weak.

He’s not exactly a gentleman, but seeing Cecilia’s calm and composed eyes, which were even laughing at him, Felix couldn’t help but swallow.

"Sis-in-law, you’re amazing. I won’t dare provoke you again in the future."

Totally impressed, genuinely impressed.

Who dares to mess with a big shot like this?

Isn’t that just seeking death?!

And this kind of burial, Old Mrs. Trent will probably linger inside for a long time. That feeling of despair and helplessness is the most terrifying.

Sometimes, being gentle to your enemies is being cruel to yourself.

But Felix couldn’t help but think, girls should be gentle, right? If he really had to find a wife in the future, he definitely couldn’t follow his big brother’s taste.

Too scary!

You never know when you’ll get screwed over!

...

Felix looked at Adrian with a sympathetic face.

Always felt like his big brother had an issue with his choice in people.

While Adrian’s eyes were fixed on Felix’s arm.

Meeting his gaze, Felix felt something was off.

"Bro, why are you looking at my arm like that?"

"Dirty."

"Huh?!"

Felix didn’t get it.

But Adrian took out a pack of tissues from his pocket, gently held Cecilia’s hand, and carefully wiped the area where Cecilia had patted Felix’s arm.

...

Felix was speechless.

Turns out, Bro is disgusted by Cecilia having even the slightest contact with him?

Come on, he doesn’t want to have any contact with this seemingly beautiful, but actually dangerous woman, okay?

Felix felt somewhat distressed, wanting to find Zion Prescott to complain.

But Zion still looked absent-minded.

Wearing golden-rimmed glasses, Zion’s gaze seemed unfocused, as if looking at the scenery or not caring about anything at all.

Felix hadn’t seen Zion for a while, so he couldn’t help but pat Zion on the arm.

"Zion, what’s up with you? Ever since the surgery for Bro, you’ve been like a wandering spirit. Who made you so absent-minded?"

"Didn’t you see how Bro and Sis-in-law humiliated me miserably? Say something for me."

He and Zion were both currently single. Why did they have to endure this lovey-dovey show-off, ╭(╯^╰)╮.

He was not convinced.

...

It was quite disheartening for Felix that Zion, although withdrawing his gaze from the scenery, merely glanced at him indifferently.

"That’s your own doing."

...

Alright, fine, three against one, can’t you guys stop hitting me so hard?

Felix clutched his chest like a little wife, pretending to be hurt, and took a step back.

"You all don’t love me anymore, and I’m going to get mad."

Cecilia teasingly raised an eyebrow.

"Eldest Young Master Lockwood, whether others love you or not doesn’t matter. The point is..."

"How could it not matter?!"

Felix immediately interrupted her, trying to regain some face.

But Cecilia gave him a strange look.

As if she was looking at someone with a head injury.

Is there something dirty on his face?

Felix hesitantly patted his face, but Cecilia shook her head again.

"Eldest Young Master Lockwood, if you take another step back, you won’t be getting mad, you’ll be ascending to heaven."

...

Ah?!!

Felix was shocked and looked back, realizing he was just two steps away from the cliff.

They forgot they were on a mountain burying someone.

His IQ really had taken a vacation.

Being overwhelmed by Cecilia in every way, Felix felt utterly defeated.

"Fine, I’m dumb. I concede. You guys are all smart. I’m going home. Not playing with you anymore."

In the end, Felix still looked at Zion, trying to gain some team support to boost his spirits.

"Zion, are you coming with me?"

"Are you driving?"

Zion gave him a half-smile.

"Sure, I can."

Felix nodded with determination.

"Alright then, don’t waste a free driver. Let’s go."

...

Hey, did you guys take the wrong medicine today? Do you have to keep teasing me like this?

Felix rolled his eyes at Zion, but this was their usual banter among them brothers, so he didn’t take it seriously. He just wrapped an arm around Zion’s shoulder and pulled him along.

Along the way, Zion absent-mindedly responded to Felix’s words, as their figures gradually grew more distant.

...

Cecilia watched Zion’s tall figure clad in a suit, not knowing why, even though Felix was such a lively character, having Zion with him made it seem even more lonely.

Cecilia couldn’t help but poke her man in the arm.

"Adrian, don’t you think Doctor Prescott seems off?"

"What’s off?"

Adrian understood what was going on in Zion’s life but wasn’t about to divulge his friend’s personal matters to Cecilia.

"I just feel like Doctor Prescott seems more haggard than last month. I don’t know how to put it. Although he’s still the same, looking proper in appearance and attire, he seems a bit lifeless. Is that word not suitable?"

"Anyway, Doctor Prescott used to give the impression of being easygoing, yet slightly aloof like an immortal. But now, he seems too... too cold."

"If I didn’t know Doctor Prescott’s always been single, I’d suspect he’s had a romantic setback."

...

Adrian saw her fretting and couldn’t help but smile.

"You can figure out so much from just one encounter with Zion?"

"Oh, I’m just guessing. But I think Doctor Prescott is a good person. Seeing him like this makes me feel a bit sorry."

"Zion, he..."

Adrian hesitated for a moment.

"Maybe he ran into his first love he broke up with."

"Ah?! Who’s so charming that even Doctor Prescott might want to rekindle an old flame?"

"No, that’s not possible."

Adrian didn’t want to continue explaining.

Cecilia, though curious, saw her man’s reluctance and sensibly nodded.

"Alright then, let’s go back to Starfall Bay. I’ll cook something nice for you."

"Are you sure you can do it?"

The man skeptically glanced at her.

"Don’t underestimate me, okay? If I can’t, I’ll learn!"
