Is this a curse?

Felix felt indignant and was about to say something when suddenly the door sounded...

All four people in the room exchanged glances, then simultaneously looked toward the door.

In an instant, the door opened, revealing Wyatt’s honest and brave square face. Although his features were not as refined as the other men in the room, Wyatt’s thick eyebrows, dark eyes, and wheat-colored skin, standing at over six feet tall, gave him a sharp and competent aura that especially conveyed a sense of security.

Cecilia looked at Wyatt and couldn’t help glancing at Felix.

Honestly, when it came to Felix’s marriage earlier, Cecilia made a comparison and felt that Wyatt was really the most suitable candidate for marriage.

——With his rugged looks, reliable character, good fighting skills, ability to earn money, and good moral character, how could he still be single?

If it weren’t for Bella Prescott’s aesthetic preferences that didn’t favor someone like Wyatt, Cecilia would have introduced Bella to him.

Uh... it doesn’t seem very appropriate.

Because of Adrian’s sister, Nancy Law, Wyatt hasn’t had any emotional stirrings for any other woman for many years.

Cecilia suddenly felt that facing an illusionary shadow that had passed away, unable to free oneself, Wyatt was lucky to have met a girl worth his love; yet also unfortunate for missing a lifetime opportunity with her.

Until Wyatt decides to start a new relationship, introducing anyone seems unreliable.

...

Forget it, everyone has their own fate. Cecilia felt she might naturally be not destined to be a matchmaker. She stood next to Adrian, secretly poking his palm.

"Hmm?"

Adrian looked at Cecilia with confusion.

Cecilia softly reminded him.

"Wyatt is here, is it about that Trent Family issue?"

Just as Cecilia expected, upon hearing her words, Wyatt immediately nodded with a smile.

"Young Madam is right. Initially, the Young Master wanted to directly deal with those people, but you were in a coma at that time, so he didn’t make a decision immediately and wanted your opinion."

After all, Adrian and Cecilia were harmed by these people.

Letting them die directly, or to seek justice, seemed like a cheap escape for them.

...

Cecilia thought for a moment, sincerely looking at Wyatt.

"Wyatt, can I see the people you have tied up first?"

"Cecilia, of course, let’s go."

Adrian naturally took the girl’s hand. Perhaps because he had just had a bullet removed, Adrian’s palm wasn’t as warm and strong as usual. Cecilia even felt the man’s big hand was a bit cold, and she was startled, quickly tightening her grip.

Noticing the girl’s gesture, the smile on the man’s lips unconsciously deepened.

...

Felix and Zion Prescott had initially planned to leave, but curiosity got the better of them, so they decided to come along and see how Cecilia would deal with the Trent Family members.

To Felix, someone like Old Mrs. Trent, who for her useless son could seek revenge on an innocent girl even three years later, was shameless to the extreme, not even the depths of hell could suffice.

Felix was always known for valuing looks and had dated many girls with mutual consent. Felix, with his handsome appearance and generous actions, could either showcase his face or allure a girl with money if she showed a bit of restraint.

How many girls in the world are neither fazed by looks nor see money as dirt?

If continually rejected, Felix respects the girl’s wishes and directly moves on to the next target.

He despised those who forcefully made the girl pay for his love when it was unreciprocated.

That Reginald Trent was already disgusting enough, but his mother’s lack of character was even more jaw-dropping.

...

The group headed to the front hall.

Only then did Cecilia notice that the red coffin was still placed in the center of the hall, absurdly and disturbingly eerie.

Cecilia thought of how she nearly got buried with a corpse that was probably just bones now and someone she hated most, and she was horrified, almost having the urge to chop Old Mrs. Trent to pieces.

But with Adrian by her side, Cecilia’s mind became somewhat calmer.

In the hall, all members of the Trent Family from The Aquarius District, from the Trent Matriarch to the fake groom Tiberius Trent, along with various followers and staff, were tied up with ropes in ridiculous manners, being held at gunpoint.

...

The cycle of karma might feel just like this.

Cecilia walked up to them with amusement, intentionally bending down to examine Old Mrs. Trent.

"Old Mrs. Trent, to think, you would end up like this."

"Mmmmmm!!!"

Old Mrs. Trent was so enraged, her ears turned red. Had she been able to speak, she would probably have spewed profanities.

But Cecilia had no interest in hearing her perform such vulgarity.

She surveyed the people present and immediately spotted the now clear-headed Tiberius Trent.

This useless second-generation heir had earlier in the bridal chamber tried to take advantage of her, acting like the world revolved around him. Now, he huddled in the corner, trembling, wishing no one would notice him.

Cecilia frowned, and didn’t bother to detail to Adrian how she almost suffered under this person, simply dropping a concise judgment.

"Render Tiberius Trent impotent, then send him to a prison known for favoring his kind, lock him up for ten or eight years, that should suffice."

Those people being fond of using their gender to bully girls, wonder what they’ll think when the tables turn.

"???"

Felix’s eyes widened in shock.

Oh my god.

Felix didn’t think Cecilia did anything wrong with the prison decision.

But rendering someone impotent...

Felix gulped, feeling a phantom pain somewhere.

——Can’t afford to mess with her.

This sister-in-law is too fierce.

A perfect match with the scheming brother!

...

Adrian nodded. Although Cecilia hadn’t detailed her reasons, his gaze toward Tiberius Trent was already icy and forbidding.

Cecilia then spotted the makeup artist that indirectly saved her life earlier. She had heard from Wyatt that the makeup artist had willingly joined their side, hence she spoke calmly.

"Let Blossom go."

Amidst everyone’s envious and eager gaze, Cecilia bypassed them all, grabbing the collar of Old Mrs. Trent.

With a hateful smile on her lips.

"Mrs. Trent, haven’t you always wanted to accompany your son? I’m offering you a chance to do so forever, interested?"
