Mr. Grant Treats Me Like a Treasure
Chapter 1146 - 1155: Knowing Her True Colors
This person, neither Mrs. Grant nor Mrs. Ford, was discovered by Director Lowell to have a relationship with Carter Lockwood.
When both the Grant and Ford families called, Director Lowell knew that Anna Morgan couldn’t be messed with.
Latterly, he received a call from President Fitzgerald.
On the phone, President Fitzgerald didn’t mention Anna Morgan smashing things in the private room, but said he wanted to invest more and really promote Anna Morgan.
Anna Morgan hit him, and yet he wants to spend money to promote her.
Director Lowell didn’t understand why President Fitzgerald would say that!
President Fitzgerald sighed, didn’t say much, just told Director Lowell to take good care of Anna Morgan, as her relationship with Carter Lockwood isn’t shallow.
Carter Lockwood!
This person’s reputation is not inferior to Ethan Grant and Julian Ford; just one icy expression can intimidate people.
Director Lowell recalled President Fitzgerald’s words, thinking of past rumors about Anna Morgan and The Lockwood Family.
They said although Anna Morgan was abandoned by Sean Lockwood, she would still be the lady of The Lockwood Family.
Because Carter Lockwood is pursuing her!
Carter Lockwood is now Solaria’s top eligible bachelor; his expressionless face may frighten people, but it doesn’t stop girls from flocking to him.
Good-looking, clean private life, and holds family power, simply an excellent man.
A bit cold-tempered, so what!
Doesn’t like to talk, so what!
Following such a man, the latter half of life is one of enjoyment.
Director Lowell knows Anna Morgan’s relationship with Carter Lockwood, and upon considering Anna Morgan’s good relations with the Grant and Ford families, even if The Morgan Family no longer dotes on this young lady, she is still a hot commodity in Solaria.
So, only a fool wouldn’t promote Anna Morgan.
Anna Morgan doesn’t know the real reason why Director Lowell changed his attitude, nor do the others in the crew.
Zoe Quinn assumes it’s the help of Serena Sullivan and Finn Chandler, feeling angry and afraid toward Anna Morgan.
Her scenes have already been reduced again and again; at the start, she was there every day, later coming once every four or five days.
When she came again, it was to film her last scene.
Zoe Quinn’s acting is really poor, and the crew doesn’t like filming her scenes. It’s good that her scenes were reduced again and again, not much to worry about.
A simple scene, back and forth with ten lines, Zoe Quinn took half a day to film.
By the end, the director barely concluded.
Zoe Quinn didn’t think she acted poorly; seeing the director’s indifferent attitude towards her, she thought it was Anna Morgan’s doing behind the scenes.
Anna Morgan is not like Serena Sullivan; back then Serena Sullivan sat in a wheelchair, when bullied Serena could only think of ways to fight back, unlike Anna Morgan who directly kicks people.
However, when departing from the crew, Zoe Quinn deliberately swayed in front of Anna Morgan.
"Sean wants to take me to the Lockwood Family for dinner."
"Will you be going?"
Zoe Quinn had nothing to boast about, losing out to Anna Morgan, she can only bring up Sean Lockwood to irritate the past.
Anna Morgan glanced at her, didn’t care about her words at all.
Zoe Quinn was treated like air by Anna Morgan, gritting her teeth in hatred but had no other option.
She wanted to step forward and further speak about how good her relationship with Sean Lockwood was.
Anna Morgan glared over again, moved her steps in Zoe Quinn’s direction, and Zoe Quinn ran backwards in fright, her face pale as she fled, tears suddenly streaming down.
Zoe Quinn’s excellent performance of pretending to be wronged, if she put it into her usual scenes, Director Lowell wouldn’t be as angry.
Unfortunately, she is only good at crying.
As she was about to cry more tragically and seriously, Anna Morgan looked at her coldly, turned and walked away, not caring about Zoe Quinn at all.
Completely ignored, the scene of Zoe Quinn fleeing landed in the eyes of other crew members, who, after spending many days with her, somewhat knew her true nature.
