Earlier at the hospital, Anna did harm to herself, which made Miles Morgan angry. Now that Ivy Preston is pregnant with his child, of course, Anna doesn’t get much attention.

"Dad, if I die, would you be happy!"

"What nonsense are you talking!" Miles Morgan reprimanded.

Anna chuckled lightly while holding her phone. If she died, Miles Morgan would feel upset for a while, but he would soon let it go.

Without her, he still has the child in Ivy Preston’s belly, and they could have a daughter in the future.

Anna had never seen Miles Morgan so clearly.

"You, you’re too reckless in what you do. Be more careful in the future."

"Mm-hmm!"

Anna responded.

"In a few days, I intend to hold a banquet. You should come and attend," Miles Morgan switched to another matter.

He didn’t mention the purpose of the banquet, but Anna was certain it wasn’t for her or Mrs. Monroe.

"Also, Riley Preston is your Aunt Ivy’s sister, and she counts as your elder. You must be respectful to her."

After scolding Anna, Miles Morgan softened his tone, "Anna, you are Daddy’s only daughter. You will always be the apple of his eye."

His only daughter?

Anna pursed her lips; it seemed that the child in Ivy Preston’s belly was definitely a son.

But after having a son, would they have a daughter?

"Okay!"

Uncharacteristically, she didn’t argue with Mr. Monroe and obediently responded.

Her words left Mr. Monroe unsure where to direct his anger, ending the call between them.

Holding the phone after the end of the call, Anna was stunned for a while. She only hung up after the screen went completely blank.

The situation with The Morgan Family was a mess, but Anna didn’t feel annoyed; knowing that Mrs. Monroe was determined to get a divorce, everything seemed to be moving in a better direction for her.

There was still some time before the banquet Miles Morgan mentioned, and Anna spent the majority of her days at the film set.

Director Lowell had completely changed his attitude toward Anna, not daring to give her any trouble at all.

This kind of treatment was nothing new to Anna. In the past, every film set’s director treated her politely.

When others were polite to her, she would reciprocate.

However, this Director Lowell treated Anna as if she were royalty.

He not only emphasized her roles but also, upon seeing Anna exhausted, would promptly allow her to leave.

Not to mention his nodding and bowing attitude.

Anna felt something was off. Could it be that Finn Chandler and Serena Sullivan combined forces, enabling her to walk sideways through Solaria?

Previously, even with Miles Morgan managing relationships for her, she was never treated with such queen-like regard.

Furthermore, besides The Ford Family and The Grant Family, there’s also The Lockwood Family among Solaria’s top families!

Nonetheless, Anna was too comfortable to probe into why Director Lowell was so eager to please her; she focused on filming during the day and returned home early in the evening.

Except for some scenes that needed to be shot after dark, she generally went home early to be with her husband.

Fang Jie was helpless when it came to Anna, who had eyes only for a pretty face.

After helplessness comes indifference.

After all, with pressure from both The Ford and The Grant Families, Director Lowell wouldn’t dare act against Anna. He wouldn’t even dare mention any dinners to her.

Anna’s time in the film crew went smoothly, freeing up her schedule to manage other artists.

It’s undeniable that girls with good family backgrounds and strong support make work worry-free.

Because there’s someone backing them.

The reason Anna could rise so high in Director Lowell’s esteem was because he knew someone was backing her.
