Joseph Lancaster took Violet Zimmerman back just at noon.

After watching the movie, he originally planned to take her shopping, but was worried about running into his mother and Emily Zimmerman, so he sent her back.

Violet had been sleeping in the theater, and several times Joseph wanted to wake her up and send her home, but he cherished the feeling of her head resting on his shoulder.

Emily responded gracefully, "Auntie, being a secretary is quite good. If Joseph goes on a business trip, I can accompany him."

Listening to her mother-in-law’s warmth towards the future daughter-in-law made Violet uncomfortable; hearing Emily mentioning accompanying Joseph on a business trip made her chest even tighter.

But what made her most uncomfortable was after dinner, Emily unexpectedly proposed, "Joseph, I saw a cinema while shopping at the department store with Aunt today. How about we go watch a movie later?"

Everyone could see Emily was actively inviting Joseph, though not a local, having studied for four years in this city, she couldn’t be unfamiliar with where department stores and cinemas were.

"Go ahead, Joseph. Emily just arrived in T City, show her around. Besides, what couple doesn’t watch movies together?"

Lorelei warmly persuaded, and Aurora joined in the fun, "Second brother, Emily sister, can you take me along too? I haven’t watched a movie in quite a while."
