Chapter 1358: Asuras

Anthony’s eyes stayed on the Eternal Apexes floating above. He gave a smile as he didn’t move. They were the ones who needed the treasures, not him, so they could come to him instead.

As the fourth Eternal Apex died, another one arrived before Anthony in a burst of motion, closing the distance in an instant. But the moment they closed the distance, Anthony simply glanced at them before they even arrived. Thought Conception came alive once more as, the next moment, the Eternal Apex’s entire body from the waist down turned into that of a goat’s.

The man paused for a moment as shock rippled through his eyes. He had just been about to use his Laws, only to sense his own biology change. Before he could even do anything, Anthony’s katana left its sheath as he swung it horizontally in a slow motion.

The sound of flesh ripping apart echoed as the man was split in half from the waist. The goat side fell to the right, the Fomorian part of him dropping to the side with a booming sound. But due to his immense vitality, he remained alive, though not for long, as Anthony’s katana flashed once more and his head soared into the air like a kite.

The other Eternal Apexes who were watching narrowed their eyes. They couldn’t help but wonder when Eternal Apexes became so easy to kill. He had killed one through some unknown method earlier; now he was able to change another Eternal Apex who was from the Fomorian race into a half-goat.

They were Eternal Apexes for crying out loud. They had ruled this Sathor Grand Region for ages, their mere presence commanding attention and respect whenever they went. Yet here, they were being slaughtered like cabbages. Five dead before they could truly land an attack.

As the Fomorian Eternal Apex died, a man floated down from above, his feet meeting the Rune Barrier that covered a Territory. His form was immense. He stood with a grin on his face, as he was from the Asura race, muscles bulging from all parts of his body as he possessed four eyes instead of two.

"Nobody intervenes."

He stated as his Law came alive around him. The Law Of Destruction hummed, the air itself shattering as space broke apart just from the Law Of Destruction humming around him.

Anthony didn’t speak. He smirked as his own Law Of Destruction came alive, his smirk turning into a wide smile as he readied himself to meet his opponent head-on.

As for whether the Eternal Apexes were actually going to listen and stay out of the fight, he didn’t know. But he guessed they would. After all, everyone would want another person to tire their opponent out before they personally delivered the kill.

Anthony could see the insignia of the Dreaming Nightmare Organization.

But at these words, the other Asura Eternal Apexes snorted and stepped forward. Their number reached six immediately, each of them tapping into their Laws.

The Eternal Apex with the Law Of Destruction frowned, his eyes snapping to the five Asuras who had just stepped into the battlefield as he spoke:

"Battlefield Paragon, Drinker Of Blood, One-Man Army, Ender Of All, and Harbinger Of Silence."

He called out the titles of the five Asuras as he was familiar with them since they were all members of the Asura race, but not from the same organization.

"Hmph!"

Battlefield Paragon snorted as he spoke in a mocking tone.

"Do you think this is the Dreaming Nightmare’s Territory where you can just order people not to interfere?"

Before Blesser Of Madness could reply, another Asura spoke.

"Besides, us joining means you don’t die easily like the previous five before you. You should be thanking us instead."

Ender Of All stated as a small, sweet smile touched her lips, as the only things she wore were a tank top and trousers.

Since Asuras were known as top-tier fighters by default, their titles always ended up being connected to battlefields and such, which was why these five bore names like One-Man Army, Battlefield Paragon, and the likes.

Anthony, who was listening to these six yap, simply moved. He arrived before Harbinger Of Silence, his fist screaming towards the man’s chest with zero error.

Although Harbinger Of Silence wasn’t focused on Anthony, his battle instincts and acumen allowed him to react in time as though he had anticipated it. His giant body leaned to the side as he dodged Anthony’s fist attack. A revolving cyclone of wind pressure and shockwave erupted outwards, slamming headfirst into the various barriers and shields.

Harbinger Of Silence didn’t just dodge; he moved, drawing his Greatsword in one motion as he moved to hack off Anthony’s hand from the elbow. Anthony’s eyes snapped to the incoming attack. He didn’t bother dodging, as the moment the blade met his elbow, it passed through his body as though he wasn’t there at all.

A sword slash from Harbinger Of Silence’s Greatsword tore towards the sky, splitting the clouds and everything above, but none of that was of anybody’s concern at the moment.

Anthony recalibrated, his foot leaving the roof he was standing on as he kneed Harbinger Of Silence to the side. As the attack was about to connect, Harbinger Of Silence created a barrier of Origin Essence Energy at the point of contact.

The impact was devastating, his body shooting to the side as momentum claimed him, but he wasn’t injured.

As Anthony was about to give chase, the other five Asuras closed the distance with grins on their faces, five different attacks screaming from five various directions. As the attacks were about to land, Anthony’s body turned into a blur as he shot into the sky.

With a booming force, five different Laws erased everything in their paths. The Law Of Destruction unleashed by the Asura from the Dreaming Nightmare Organization, Blesser Of Madness, shattered various Rune Formation Barriers and Shields.

Millions were immediately erased, not their bodies remaining. Trees, houses, streets, horses, everything was erased before they could even as much as scream.

Anthony’s figure appeared at the barrier that separated the Hellinder Realm from other Planets and Realms within the Ecliptica Galaxy, his body phasing through it as though it was never there as he stepped into the bounds of the Ecliptica Galaxy.

And just like any other Galaxy, the Ecliptica Galaxy possessed Planets, Comets of immense size, Stars, and other Constellations that put the ones from Lower Galaxies like the Acarnis Galaxy to shame.

As he appeared within the bounds of the Galaxy, the six Asura Eternal Apexes appeared too.

Anthony stared at them, then spoke for the first time in a while.

"You know, it’s funny that five Eternal Apexes have died before you guys, yet none of them are even using your Law Personification."

He stated with an amused smile, yet a hint of puzzled expression. After all, anyone in their right minds would use their Law Personification, not that it would make a difference, but at least they showed what they could do before they died, no?

But the six didn’t speak. They simply punched various Constellation bodies towards him as though they weren’t interested in conversation now that the battle had started.
