She finally came to a conclusion and said, "It might be because our Life Totems were first absorbed by the Young Master before being transferred to us."

Mo Luo pondered for a moment, then said, "Let’s go test it out!"

The two of them rushed toward the battlefield.

As Leng Yue ran, she bellowed, "All beasts, hear me! Kneel!"

Her voice thundered across the entire battlefield, leaving An Dongye’s group of Martial Artists, who were locked in a bloody struggle with the Mutated Beasts, completely baffled.

"Maybe that tiger just doesn’t like show-offs," Tang Bo commented.

Dong Fangbai was speechless.

Just then, with a loud rumble, the earthen-wall maze that Tang Bo had constructed where the beast army had appeared out of thin air collapsed with a crash.

The hearts of Leng Yue and the others leaped into their throats. As they wondered if a heavyweight Mutated Beast had appeared, they saw Ye Xiu walk out from the rubble.

Everyone was collectively stupefied.

They couldn’t comprehend how Ye Xiu had emerged from the exact spot where the Mutated Beasts had materialized. Furthermore, a large, subway-style entrance had appeared in that very location.

"Return to the underground passage," Ye Xiu commanded.

Instantly, all the kneeling Mutated Beasts scrambled eagerly into the ’subway entrance’.

The crowd was once again in an uproar. A single command from Leng Yue had made the army of Mutated Beasts kneel. A single command from Ye Xiu had sent them scurrying back where they came from. How did they do it?

"Ye Xiu and Leng Yue stole all the limelight," Dong Fangbai muttered, glaring furiously at them with the back of his head.

Meanwhile, An Dongye ran directly up to Ye Xiu and asked, "Little brother, how did you and Leng Yue manage that?"

"No time to explain. I need to go close all the entrances to the underground and underwater passages on every island in the Eternal Islands," Ye Xiu said solemnly.

He had instructed Dizang to set up Trapping Formations on all the islands inhabited by the lower-class citizens. This served two purposes. First, it would prevent the three great Judicator Families from forcing tens of millions of ordinary people to attack Biluo Island. Second, it would cut off the food supply for the Judicator Families and the Martial Artists of the Eternal Kingdom.
