Chapter 1922: Enlightening the Possible Future

Beings that knows about Etherna would not be a weak being

But that also means, that it would not be easy for those beings to talk to him as an equal and even gave him all of the necessary information

However, now he has such being that volunteered such information

So, he is more than eager

Especially when a being like Odin selflessly given him the opportunity to understand the Etherna from his point of view and his opinion of the Etherna.

And Azief had already summarized some of Odin thoughts about the Etherna

He respected them, feared them, and is in awe with them. But Odin clearly did not think that the Etherna is a perfect being

Azief could not help but sigh in his heart.

There is always something to learn.

Time has blurred all information about the Etherna and sometimes he couldn’t help but think that the blue crystal whitewash all the bad things about the Etherna.

The blue crustal is the crystallization of Etherna knowledge.

In that blue crystal, it could not help but be biased toward the Etherna

And the truth and lies of Etherna is hard to discern

Because whatever the truth or lies of the war in that beginning of time, the time is already so far away that the right and wrong are hard to distinguish

But then the scene was cut short.

It was like the film was cut

For a moment there is only darkness and silence. Azief the felt that he now has a body again.

Before, it felt like he was one of the particles in the air floating around, looking at the scenery of heaven and earth

Now, he felt like he has regained back his body.

Even though in this kind of consuming darkness, he could not see his body, he could feel it. Like the sensation of moving his arms, or blinking his eyes.

Azief frowned at this and he sighed

“I should expected it” he thought to himself.

Odin reconstruction of this scene of the Etherna War might have its limit

No, it is not might have

There is a limit. And what he saw is the limit

But Azief could understand it

How could it be easy to reconstruct a scene from before the beginning of time?

“But that battle in the distance between the Etherna and the Creator and Destroyer felt very real. Could it be that the Creator once met with Odin and show him some fragments of the past?”

Out of all the scenes of the Etherna he had seen briefly, it is only that scene that looks perfect, flawless, and have no incongruity with reality

That is his feelings.

Azief could ask this question but he stores the question he wanted to ask and focusing on the next scene.

Each scene is formed as Odin began narrating stories.

When the beginning of the story is told, the scene would change and then it would transport him to that scene of the story.

” The scene is too short” he sighed; his words echoes in the middle of the darkness of nothingness

A laugh echoes and Azief heard Odin words, echoing all over the darkness of nothingness

“too many cause and effect”

That is Odin answer

For a moment there is silence between them but then Odin words echoes again in the darkness

“I think you could learn more about it with Wargod. There is much he could not say, but whatever things he could say would be more detailed than the ones that I could provide”

Azief only smiles at this.

He never mean to complain.

He just felt pity, that after all of the things he had experienced, the things he knows about the Etherna is still like this…just scratching the surface

In this moment when he is between stories, Azief felt the time that he had experienced.

The story was short but now when he is brought out from the scenery of the stories, he suddenly think he has been in the story for thousands of years

“How long have I been in the stories?” Azief suddenly ask.

A moment later, Odin answer

“it did not matter. Even a million years passes, it is nothing but your perspective”

“A thousand-year-old soul would be worn down by time” Azief mutters. He might be muttering but it is clear Azief words is meant as a question to Odin

And it is a reasonable question that stems from his worries

Azief is worried if time touches him.

His real age itself is a few hundred years old.

Even though Earth itself did not yet experience a hundred-year time, did not mean the current calculation of time of Earth is accurate.

The Fake Earth, at that time, time still moves, lifespan is still consumed.

And then during the Multiversal War, pockets of time appears all over the world and the effect of space and time affect the time space of Earth.

Some parts of Earth might have been aged during that Multiversal War and some part of Earth might have been rejuvenated into the time when the world was just born

There is also all kinds of bizarre time phenomenon on Earth since the Multiversal Convergence.

And even if the Earth did not yet reach hundreds of years of old since the Fall, it did not mean that Azief who was born on Earth on 1992 is actually 40 or 50 years old now.

His lifespan might have been reduced by one hundred years or even more.

That is because Azief had experienced time in many places.

If he spend tens of thousands of years just listening to stories, Azief is worried of his lifespan.

Just because he had reached the Essence Creation did not mean that he did not have a lifespan.

A lifespan of a few million years might seem a long time.

But only after you reach this realm, you would think a few million years is not that much

Because when you comprehend a law or a rule, that alone could take you hundreds or thousands of years and the ones with low comprehension or without treasures or a world with great foundation would find themselves wasting millions of years just to comprehend certain laws

So, a few million years of life is nothing.

He waited for Odin words.

“Would I harm you? Below the Tree, time is meaningless” Odin did not say anything after these word. And Azief smile.

He could understand it. So, he put his worries away.

He closes his eyes

Azief is right now is recreating back that scene he saw.

The scene of the Etherna fighting with the Destroyer and the Creator.

If he had truly travel through space and time to see this battle, Azief is quite sure that the fight between these transcendently beings is not something that his eyes and his other senses could capture.

But in that re-creation of that battle, in that reproduction of that war, he could capture some of the essence of that battle.

How certain laws is used and how certain law is manipulated.

Odin never would do something useless. And that recreation of the war does have some effect.

“Maybe, it has more things to offer but my realm is not high, so I could not see the other benefit of this method”

Azief refuse to believe Odin, the ruler of the Eight realms would re such war just to entertain himself and to reminisce.

For a being like him, he might have used that scene of war to train himself.

Though Odin did not say anything about his guess.

Then the scene changes.

This time, it is another war, a narration followed the story.

[Five thousand years ago, in the mortal world, in the blessed stone that is Earth, a war for a great weapon begins!]

And the scenery began showing this war. But war is not the only thing that Odin is showing him.

“Like a trailer for a movie” Azief thought to himself as he chuckles to himself. There is a glimpse of a war but the starting point of this story is not the war itself.

But the hidden history of Earth.

“This one is more detailed than the War of the Etherna. After all,…..I was there. In the war, and even before the war”

Odin words echoes in this scene.

And the first scene that Odin show him was a civilization.

Azief look at the world from a bird eye view.

And looking it from above, Azief saw some familiar mountains and not so familiar scenery, lakes, rivers and even kingdoms he never knew existed.

“The Indus civilization” Azief thought to himself. And Odin confirmed it. Though the Indus itself might have a different name for their cities and their civilizations.

Putting the landmarks and matching it with the landmarks in the future, he could guess where this is and what civilization is this.

However, there is also mountains he did not recognize, lakes and water he did not know existed and all kinds of beast and things that should not and have never been recorded in any of the scientific journals.

it shocked him.
