Living With My Yandere Professor

Chapter 168: Naughty Little Thing

Whether Scarlett did it on purpose or not, she turned the volume of the movie up really high.

Andrew was so scared that his body trembled from time to time. After shrinking back under the covers for a moment, he would peek out again.

Then, a sudden jump scare would frighten him into ducking back under the covers.

Because of this, their positions under the covers were constantly shifting.

By the time the slasher movie ended, they had ended up in a strange position: Scarlett was lying on Andrew’s back, while Andrew lay flat on the bed with his head tucked beneath Scarlett’s chest.

This position was truly odd. If a boyfriend and girlfriend were getting intimate, it usually meant the boy would be on top of the girl.

But Scarlett and Andrew were the other way around, stacked on top of each other like building blocks.

"Alright, it’s over. Don’t be scared anymore."

Scarlett patted Andrew, who was lying beneath her and trembling like a frightened rabbit.

Andrew poked his head out from under Scarlett’s soft chest, looked at the finished movie on the screen, and let out a long sigh of relief.

"It’s finally over."

Seeing the look of relief on Andrew’s face, Scarlett found it quite amusing. She slid down a little, bringing her head close to his.

"Little Fellow, why are you such a coward?"

After asking with a smile, Scarlett immediately felt that something wasn’t quite right and added, "Actually, that’s not right. You aren’t afraid of those thugs in real life. You’re not afraid of them at all."

After thinking it over, Scarlett asked Andrew again, "Why are you so afraid of ghosts and slashers—things that don’t even exist?"

"Who says they don’t exist?!"

Andrew immediately retorted, "If you say ghosts don’t exist, there might actually be a scientific basis for that. But perverted serial killers really do exist!"

Seeing Andrew’s serious yet fearful and excited expression, Scarlett grinned with amusement.

"Really? How come I’ve never heard of a perverted killer who dismembers bodies as gifts or hangs up entire families?"

"They really do!"

Andrew spoke firmly, then lowered his voice as if afraid of being overheard.

"Teacher, do you know about ’Fishing Enthusiasts’?"

"Of course I know. My uncle is a Fishing Enthusiast, but he usually comes back empty-handed."

"As everyone knows, Fishing Enthusiasts can catch anything except fish. A while ago, I saw a bizarre case where a guy was fishing by the river and ended up reeling in a suitcase. Teacher, guess what was inside?"

"A corpse?" Scarlett said expressionlessly.

Andrew was suddenly taken aback.

"Teacher, how did you know?"

"It’s an easy guess. A suitcase in a river is either full of RMB or ’pieces of people.’"

Scarlett delivered this dark joke so calmly that Andrew couldn’t help but shiver.

Then he took a deep breath and said excitedly, "So you see, there are perverted killers who dismember people, put them in suitcases, and throw them in the river. Isn’t that terrifying?"

"Oh, come on. How could that be real? Where did you see such fake news? If it were recent, how could I not know about it?"

Scarlett didn’t play many games. Besides watching anime, she also followed the news. If there had been such a heinous murder case, it would have been impossible for her not to know about it.

"Don’t disbelieve me, Teacher. Let me show you."

As Andrew spoke, he reached for his phone and turned on the screen. Scarlett, lying on his back, stared intently at it.

While Andrew was searching his browsing history for that video, Scarlett suddenly reached out and grabbed his phone.

"What’s this?"

"Uh..."

While Andrew was thinking about how to bluff his way out, Scarlett clicked on the video.

Immediately, the voice of a female uploader came through:

"How to trick your girlfriend into wearing black silk stockings for you. Today, I’m going to teach you all..."

For a moment, the entire bedroom fell silent, save for the sound of the video.

Their eyes met. Scarlett stared at Andrew speechlessly, while Andrew looked back at her with extreme embarrassment and awkwardness.

The video continued playing.

"I’m sure you handsome guys in front of the screen definitely don’t want your girlfriends wearing black silk when they go out. You want them to wear it for you at home. Since it’s for home wear, there are many choices..."

Suddenly, Andrew manually exited the video and gave an awkward laugh.

"Hehe, Teacher, let’s just continue with the previous topic."

Scarlett didn’t answer. She merely looked down at Andrew beneath her with a look of disdain.

This Little Thing... if he wants me to wear black silk for him, he could just say so. Instead, he watches these boring videos and thinks about tricking me.

Scarlett muttered to herself inwardly.

A moment later, Andrew found the original video.

"Found it! Look, Teacher, there’s no way this is fake. It’s a documentary with police narration."

The video began with a classic series of rhetorical questions:

"A man fishes out a mysterious suitcase by the river, only to find a dismembered corpse inside. Is this a collapse of morality, or a distortion of human nature..."

Scarlett watched intently and soon spotted a problem.

"Wait a second."

She tried to take the phone from Andrew’s hand, but he blocked her.

"Wait until it’s finished. Teacher, don’t grab it."

"Give it to me!"

Scarlett tried to snatch it while Andrew tried to keep watching. The two of them suddenly started scuffling under the covers.

Finally, Scarlett got impatient. She lunged forward and grabbed Andrew’s phone, pressing his head beneath her chest so he couldn’t even speak clearly.

"I told you to give it to me, so give it to me! How dare you defy me? You’re asking for a beating!"

Scarlett scolded.

Andrew was still pinned beneath her, unable to say anything.

"Mmph—"

Scarlett ignored him, rewound the video a few frames, and listened again.

"The case occurred in 1998..."

"This case happened back in ’98. You weren’t even born yet, and I was just a child. What are you afraid of?"

Scarlett had wondered why she didn’t know about it. It turned out to be a case from over twenty years ago.

"Mmph—"

Scarlett still didn’t realize that Andrew was pinned beneath her and unable to speak. After exiting the video, she noticed that Andrew frequently watched this case-review uploader and became a little curious.

"You Little Fellow, you’re clearly scared to death, so why do you keep watching these case analyses? Aren’t you afraid you won’t be able to sleep?"

"Mmph mmph—"

"What did you say?"

Just as Scarlett voiced her confusion, her face suddenly flushed red. Her whole body trembled, and she instinctively shrank to the side.

"You... what are you doing?!"

Finally able to breathe fresh air, Andrew panted heavily.

"Whew, I’m finally alive again. I almost suffocated to death."

Then he turned to look at the blushing Scarlett.

"Hehe, Teacher, I had no choice but to suddenly misbehave. Otherwise, I would’ve suffocated."

Scarlett rolled her eyes at Andrew and said, "Those are all old cases from decades ago. If you’re scared, why do you keep watching them?"

"I’m just curious. Besides, that’s not important anymore."

Andrew grinned mischievously and leaned his head toward Scarlett’s chest again.

"Wife, I want to drink milk."

"Drink your head!"

"Wuwuwu, you promised me."

Andrew put on a look of grievance and sadness.

This trick never failed. Scarlett’s heart softened instantly, and she stopped resisting him.

"Then no other funny business, okay? This isn’t home. There are other people staying here."

"Mm."
