Chapter 3039: Sect Leader of the Baopu Immortal Sect, Liam Davidson

"This Bradley Clark, although he is the third disciple of the current Sect Leader of the Emerald Absorption Sect, doesn’t seem to be a direct disciple."

"No wonder he sounds so bitter... He’s jealous of Wyatt Barnes!"

"Don’t just say he’s jealous... Even I am jealous!"

...

All the peak Love Rowan Upper Immortals present, although they hadn’t yet entered the Emerald Absorption Sect, had heard of the sect’s direct disciples before, and knew what being a direct disciple of the sect entailed.

"The tenth direct disciple position... The Sect Leader actually gave it to a kid who hasn’t even entered the sect yet?"

And when a group of patrolling disciples from the Emerald Absorption Sect looked at Wyatt Barnes again, their gazes changed completely.

"Who is this kid exactly?"

"He hasn’t even joined the sect, yet the Sect Leader has already given him the final direct disciple position of our Emerald Absorption Sect... Moreover, the Vice Sect Leader seems to treat him quite courteously."

"This time, the people the Vice Sect Leader brought back seem to be those who survived from the lower realm of the South Heaven’s Ancient Realm and chose to join our Emerald Absorption Sect, right?"

"Could this kid also be someone who survived the lower realm of the South Heaven’s Ancient Realm? For the Vice Sect Leader to treat him this way, his ranking on the scoreboard must be very high."

"Ranking high? How high can he rank, given that he’s under a hundred years old?"

"Under a hundred years old?"

"He really is under a hundred years old!"

"A peak Love Rowan Upper Immortal under a hundred years old, being able to comprehend the profundity of one Law is already extraordinary... But, such a being shouldn’t be enough for the Vice Sect Leader to treat him like this, should it?"

"Such a being also shouldn’t be enough for the Sect Leader to give him the final direct disciple position of our Emerald Absorption Sect."

...

While the patrolling disciples whispered, they were very curious about the purple-clad youth, wondering why he received such treatment from both the Sect Leader and Vice Sect Leader of the Emerald Absorption Sect.

"Not only is Wyatt Barnes under a hundred years old, but he was ranked second in the lower realm of the South Heaven’s Ancient Realm this time!"

As the Vice Sect Leader of the Emerald Absorption Sect, Grant Graham was strong, with sharp hearing, so it was not difficult to hear the whispers of the patrolling disciples.

"Furthermore, not only has his cultivation achieved the peak Love Rowan Upper Immortal level, but he has also comprehended two profundities of the Earth-attribute Law."

Grant Graham continued speaking.

After speaking, he looked at Wyatt Barnes with a smile and said, "Wyatt, don’t mind them... Follow me to meet the Sect Leader."

"Alright."

Wyatt Barnes nodded, looking back at Bradley Clark briefly before withdrawing his gaze.

Now, he finally understood why Bradley Clark looked at him that way.

It turned out to be because he was appointed as a direct disciple.

While Bradley Clark, the personal disciple of the current Sect Leader of the Emerald Absorption Sect, isn’t a direct disciple.

"That direct disciple position must have been something Bradley Clark had been eyeing for a long time since he’s the personal disciple of the current Sect Leader... Now that the Sect Leader of the Emerald Absorption Sect has given that position to me, he is surely displeased."

At this moment, Wyatt Barnes could easily deduce this.

As Wyatt Barnes followed Grant Graham away, Grant Graham explained the reason behind Bradley Clark targeting him, corroborating Wyatt’s guesses.

"...If you hadn’t appeared, that kid Bradley Clark had a good chance of getting that direct disciple position."

Grant Graham said.

After Wyatt Barnes and Grant Graham left, apart from Bradley Clark and Jalen Bell who knew Wyatt’s true strength, the other peak Love Rowan Upper Immortals and the group of patrolling disciples from the Emerald Absorption Sect were astounded by what Grant Graham said before departing.

"A peak Love Rowan Upper Immortal under a hundred years old, comprehending two profundities of the Earth-attribute Law? This... How is this possible?!"

"Ranked second in the lower realm of the South Heaven’s Ancient Realm might be attributed to luck... But being under a hundred years old, not only has his cultivation broken through to the peak Love Rowan Upper Immortal level, additionally comprehending two profundities of the Earth-attribute Law, this is not something an ordinary person can achieve!"

"It’s not just that ordinary people can’t achieve this... Even the monstrous talents throughout the history of our Emerald Absorption Sect never achieved this."

"Who would have thought that the purple-clad youth was such a monster... It’s no wonder the Sect Leader and the Vice Sect Leader treat him this way."

"No wonder the Sect Leader gave him that direct disciple position... It turns out his talent and comprehension are so monstrous!"

...

Before, not only were the patrolling disciples of the Emerald Absorption Sect unaware of Wyatt Barnes’s true strength, but even the group of peak Love Rowan Upper Immortals who followed Grant Graham back were mostly unaware.

"Did that Wyatt Barnes really comprehend two profundities of the Earth-attribute Law?"

Many peak Love Rowan Upper Immortals were still questioning.

"There’s no doubt about this... Before the lower realm of the South Heaven’s Ancient Realm was opened, I personally witnessed Wyatt Barnes fight the second prince of the South Star Kingdom, Jalen Bell, where Jalen Bell was defeated."

A peak Love Rowan Upper Immortal, who appeared to be a middle-aged man, spoke while looking toward Jalen Bell not far away. "Jalen Bell is right here, if you don’t believe me you can ask him."

Immediately, everyone’s gaze fell on Jalen Bell.

Facing everyone’s gaze, Jalen Bell nodded, "Indeed, Wyatt Barnes truly comprehended two profounds of the Earth-attribute Law... Apart from the basic profound Earth Element, he also comprehended a principal defensive profound."

"I went all out, yet I couldn’t break through his defense."

Jalen Bell said.

As the Second Prince of South Star Kingdom and a genius, many peak Upper Immortals on the scene knew Jalen Bell and understood his power.

Now, hearing Jalen Bell’s confirmation, they instantly had no doubts.

"Everyone, follow me... I’ll take you to handle entry procedures into the sect, and arrange accommodations for you."

Bradley Clark stood in the distance, only retracting his gaze once Wyatt Barnes and Grant Graham’s figures disappeared from sight. He took a deep breath, forcibly suppressing the resentment in his heart, and spoke to Jalen Bell and the others.

As Bradley Clark led Jalen Bell and others to handle entering the sect procedures, a deep coldness radiated from his eyes.

"Just a peak Upper Immortal... If something unexpected happens and he dies, no one will suspect me."

In Bradley Clark’s mind, the purple-clad youth he had met only once was sentenced to death because that youth robbed him of a personal disciple seat!

Although even if the youth hadn’t appeared, he might not necessarily have gotten the seat, he still had a high hope.

However, now with the youth’s appearance, seizing that seat left Bradley Clark with no hope.

The cultivation ground of the Puo Xian Sect Sect Leader is one of the best places for cultivation in the Puo Xian Sect headquarters, with the density of Heavenly Spirit Energy being more than five times greater than outside.

Upon entering, Wyatt Barnes could easily discern this.

The cultivation ground of the Puo Xian Sect Sect Leader was located within a small valley, surrounded by lush greenery and blooming flowers, akin to a paradise.

"Sect Leader."

Grant Graham brought Wyatt Barnes into the valley, looked at the wooden cabin in the center, and slightly bowed in salute.

"Brother Grant, I’ve told you countless times, between us brothers, there’s no need for such courtesy. Just call me by my name as before... If it weren’t for you, Brother Grant, I would’ve died long ago, and wouldn’t be where I am today!"

After Grant Graham saluted, Wyatt Barnes saw a figure appear above the wooden cabin out of thin air—a middle-aged man of average build and slender, wearing a tattered Taoist robe.

The middle-aged man looked ordinary, but his eyes were extraordinarily bright, giving a piercing sharp vibe.

"Is he the Sect Leader of Puo Xian Sect?"

Wyatt Barnes’ gaze flickered; appearing here at this time, he must be the Sect Leader of Puo Xian Sect.

"Courtesy cannot be abandoned."

Grant Graham said while looking at the middle-aged man.

The middle-aged man smiled helplessly, then looked at Wyatt Barnes beside Grant Graham and smiled, saying, "You must be Wyatt Barnes?"

"I am this generation’s Sect Leader of Puo Xian Sect, Liam Davidson!"

Looking at Wyatt Barnes, the middle-aged man’s eyes slightly curved as his smile gave Wyatt Barnes a warm spring breeze feeling.

"Sect Leader."

Upon hearing Liam Davidson introduce himself, Wyatt Barnes promptly greeted him.

"Brother Grant has already informed me of your situation via Immortal Talisman."

Liam Davidson watched Wyatt Barnes, saying, "However, I still want to test your strength... You don’t mind, do you?"

Saying this, without waiting for Wyatt Barnes’ response, Liam Davidson added, "Of course, I will suppress my Immortal Origin Force to peak Upper Immortal level and only use two profounds of the same law."

"I don’t mind at all."

Wyatt Barnes was not surprised by Liam Davidson’s request, as the promise made by Puo Xian Sect to him was substantial.

"You are forthright!"

Liam Davidson’s eyes shone brightly, then he lightly kicked off the ground, instantly soaring like a swallow, reaching the sky a thousand meters high in an instant.

Wyatt Barnes’ figure flickered, also stepping into the air.

"Hongmeng Spirit Soil!"

Simultaneously, Wyatt Barnes called to Hongmeng Spirit Soil, "This Sect Leader of Puo Xian Sect isn’t ordinary... when assisting me defensively, try giving him the illusion that I have comprehended a principal defensive profound of the Earth-attribute Law."

"No problem."

Hongmeng Spirit Soil’s childish voice sounded, evidently unconcerned that Liam Davidson could perceive his intervention.

"I’ve heard you’re adept at the principal defensive profound of the Earth-attribute Law... So I’ll use peak Upper Immortal level Immortal Origin Force, combined with two profounds of the Metal-attribute Law and some Monarch Level Immortal Method and Divine Ability to strike at you!"

Liam Davidson stood confronting Wyatt Barnes and quickly summoned a slightly peculiar sword in his hand.

The sword was deemed peculiar due to its four-foot length and the myriad of odd corners on the sword’s body, each corner glinted sharply.

"This is a King Grade Immortal Sword nurtured by an Immortal Sovereign and my personal weapon... Given your second place in the South Heaven’s Ancient Realm Lower Realm, I presume you also possess a purely defensive King Grade Immortal Artifact nurtured by an Immortal Sovereign?"

Liam Davidson queried.
