(To be revised later) The collapse of Punishment City didn’t stir up much of a wave on the Collection of Information Terminal. Even though plenty of people and instruments in the same city captured the collapse and the tsunami, the Enforcement Department reacted quickly—besides blocking the relevant videos, they also rushed out an official explanation.

Calling it an Outer Zone Player attack would damage their own image, and there was absolutely no way they’d disclose the truth, so their public line was that the collapse had been caused by leaked experimental subjects from Punishment City. As for the tsunami, that was supposedly an emergency measure taken to stop harmful substances from spreading further; the resulting losses would be borne by the relevant Municipal Government departments.

Of course, the people who knew what was really going on weren’t going to buy the Enforcement Department’s story so easily. Not only that, some spectators who loved a good mess even uploaded certain live-stream clips to the Collection of Information Terminal.

Very soon, people who had no idea what was going on traced the source of these clips and analyzed that they came from some underground live-streams. This kind of clip wasn’t new; it had circulated in small circles before, then been quickly wiped out. It had always hovered in a gray area—few cared, and no one bothered to dig deeper.

The Aliens scattering in all directions let out wretched cries under this kind of attack, and within moments blood was streaming from their ears and noses as they collapsed on the ground—watching the Aliens’ miserable state, the Players hovering in midair all started using Props, trying to force their way through Punishment City’s barrier.

However, these barriers could be regenerated again and again. Destroy one layer and another immediately rose up. On top of that, the Players outside the barrier kept stacking sealing Props, turning the original barrier into a buffer zone, while the barriers formed by the Props they carried weren’t so easy to completely destroy!

Of course, the barrier also blocked the Law Enforcement Players, so both sides were locked in a stalemate for the moment, each dragging things out.

"I’m afraid more Law Enforcement Players will be here to support them any minute," Chai Sheng said to the others. "There are Spatial Instruments all over this area, so long-distance Spatial Teleportation Devices probably won’t function. It’ll be hard for us to shake off their tracking in one go. The best approach is to run in different directions—whether we make it out or not depends on our own luck!"

Plenty of sectors might not have a Super Player, but they had all kinds of methods for dealing with ordinary Players. At the very least, they could provide instruments and Energy Weapons in an endless stream. As long as cost wasn’t an issue, how many people below Super Player level could actually get away intact?

The more time passed, the less safe they were. So after a brief exchange, three Players released explosion Props into the sky. After several consecutive blasts, only one layer of sealing barrier remained in the air—and right then the Law Enforcement Team’s reinforcements arrived, nearly fifty people in total, front and back.

Judging by the situation, they weren’t going to get many more reinforcements. Xu Huo tilted his head back to look at the sky, his hands sinking slightly downward. The Spatial Rays linked to his fingers directly affected and deconstructed one corner of the sealing barrier. As the barrier began to crumble, the space above Punishment City suddenly cracked open, and a giant wave a hundred meters high crossed over from another world, plunging down and instantly swallowing the entire area where Punishment City had stood.

The sealing barrier was completely torn open. Under the pouring giant wave, buildings and forest were like wheat fields under a storm, all toppling in the same direction!

The Players fared no better. Although the Defense Props they wore were enough to withstand the impact of the tsunami, it had appeared too suddenly and too close. So whether it was Xu Huo’s side or the Law Enforcement Team’s side, most people were caught in the surge. The speed of the water wasn’t considered fast for Players, but once many of them were swallowed by the wave, they never came out again!

Because the metal had disintegrated, Punishment City’s ground and the underground structures beneath it all collapsed. Even if it couldn’t achieve a hundred percent disintegration of every metal structure inside, it was enough to turn this so-called venue Prop completely into scrap.

Of course, as the buildings fell, the Players trapped underground, as well as some Aliens that hadn’t yet been killed, all managed to get free. A considerable number of them knew Xu Huo. Chai Sheng and Lei Xiaohe rushed to his side at once, forming up around him to guard against the Law Enforcement Team Players who had appeared outside the original Punishment City Defensive Barrier.

"Quite a crowd you’ve got here." Xu Huo swept his gaze over them and said with a smile, "What’s wrong, can’t keep filming your TV show anymore?"

These people in white Protective Suits, faces completely covered, clearly had no intention of wasting words on them. As one of them made a signal to attack, the Players began activating sonic shockwave instruments one after another. Violent shocks accompanied by piercing noises reverberated throughout the interior of the Defensive Barrier.
