Kaidan Game Train: Abide Rule or Die!
Chapter 2766: Both Sides Are Looking Forward to It
(To be modified later) This behavior has already transcended human limits, but just looking into those eyes, in a matter of seconds, the strong man and curly-haired woman felt a pressure. It’s not the urgency brought by a death threat, but more like a brain stress response. In a moment, they felt muddled, even starting to have headaches.
"Can you understand what I’m saying?" Xu Huo looked at the thing in front of him, "If you can understand, stop yelling."
The roar grew louder.
"Communication is difficult." Xu Huo raised his hand and cut off its head.
Freed from the gravity, the curly-haired woman and her companion immediately felt relieved. Looking at the dead Alien on the ground, it was hard for them to believe they had been spun around by this earlier.
"Maybe it really isn’t just one Alien." The strong man couldn’t help but say.
Xu Huo also leaned towards this judgment; in fact, he hoped there would be more Aliens, otherwise, even dismantling this Punishment City would be meaningless.
They swept the corpse aside, and the three continued onward. After a while, they finally found a room that fit the curly-haired woman’s description of where the Aliens were placed.
It was a large space, with over thirty cylindrical tanks, various Aliens immersed in nutrient solution, all sleeping. When Xu Huo’s lamp illuminated them, some began to stir.
"Quick!" said the strong man, covering Xu Huo’s lighting Prop with speed. But the next moment, the nearest Alien in a container appeared — milky white, human-sized lizard-like — opening its mouth to let out a sharp scream. Everyone felt a painful sting in their brain, and then the containers began to explode one after another, waking the sleeping Aliens.
Despite being attacked by high-frequency waves, the strong man and curly-haired woman immediately used their Props to plow through the room. Although Spatial Artifacts were limited, they managed to resolve it easily; firstly, the strong man’s few Flying Arrows quickly harvested the Aliens’ heads, followed by the curly-haired woman casting mirrors which, once divided, reflected each other, with light quickly slicing the Aliens into pieces.
Excrement and a rancid stench filled the air, visibly worsening the air quality, forcing the three to exit the room.
Looking at the mess of body parts, the curly-haired woman couldn’t understand why she was so scared earlier, as if she hadn’t entered the same place.
"Just this?" The strong man regained his confidence.
Xu Huo raised his hand, and a glass shard with a number flew over; he took a look and asked the others, "Have you seen a similar number?"
"It’s probably a company from Zone 022," the curly-haired woman had seen it: "Specializing in experimental equipment, supplying here isn’t surprising. However, these research Aliens, none have explicit numbers, probably activated."
"Using these to entertain us, Zone 022 is underestimating us!" The strong man snorted coldly.
Xu Huo was also a bit disappointed; underground, besides confined areas and Mental Interference, there seemed to be nothing more formidable.
There seemed no point to drag it out; he touched his arm, ready to remove his Protective Suit and dissolve this Punishment City, when suddenly a click sounded from the distant corridor.
Someone was coming down!
The three understood, but as the metal door ahead opened, a Punishment City player wearing a white Protective Suit from head to toe appeared. They extended a hand, "Solidify!"
Instantly, the corridor’s air turned into a seamless wall. Xu Huo and the others were stuck, even finding it difficult to breathe.
Maintaining distance, the Punishment City player revealed a red coil, raising both hands, looping the coil three times, an invisible force tightened around Xu Huo and the others’ necks.
The Defense Prop blocked the attack, but the other’s goal wasn’t to kill immediately; instead, they wound the red line repeatedly, tying arms and legs.
The heavy air wall weakened Props’ effectiveness; Xu Huo’s deployed Props were blocked before reaching the player, who cautiously kept a distance, step by step slowly retreating, using the air wall to move them forward.
Seeing the intent to slowly drag them, Xu Huo manipulated the Space Cutting Line to tear the air wall, causing the space to explode violently, force blasting loudly through the building; restricted by the terrain, walls just deformed slightly, while air surged down the corridor.
He merely used the Spatial Barrier to deflect the wind when the Punishment City player forcibly passed through the explosion’s center, coming close with a "Sink", Xu Huo’s body began to drop, falling into an unbeknownst passage...but he just dropped slightly, stopped at less than half a centimeter in the passage entrance, no matter how much was repeated, he didn’t drop further.
"Irreconcilable!" Seeing things awry, the person instantly retreated, pulling back a hundred meters in a blink.
But Xu Huo wouldn’t let them leave like this; with a clench, Space Lock pulled the person back forcibly; just as he intended to interrogate, the Protective Suit suddenly collapsed — the person vanished!

"An instance can be a performance, perfectly normal." Xu Huo raised his voice a bit.
"District-wide broadcast at your service, this morning at eight, the Chief Governor squeezed time to return home for his daughter’s birthday, local Governors sent wishes..."
"...our district’s renowned sculptor Gu Hui Peak’s Masterpiece ’Bone Remains’ sold for 980 million high price..."
"...affected by the market, recently meerkat plush toys’ prices soared, ordinary toys starting at 50,000, limited editions climbing to a million..."
The communicator’s voice went on, reporting news from Zone 022, initially seeming trivial to the curly-haired woman and strong man; but after a while, they noticed unusual sounds during news breaks, though careful search revealed nothing but emptiness.
Subtle sounds followed shadow-like, and the strong man couldn’t help but say, "Can you turn off the broadcast? Can’t hear around..."
Before finishing, he was pressed to the ground by an immense gravitational force, as was the curly-haired woman. Still unclear of what happened, they saw Xu Huo crouch in front, and ahead, someone who appeared suddenly was also forced on the ground, from a ground perspective seeing their slightly tilting face...
It looked like a human face yet was full of discord, faint surgical scars barely visible, while skin color varied distinctly in patches with defined borders, evidently taken from different humans or animals. Though dressed like a human, their mouth emitted animalistic hoarse growls, even the pupil color changing constantly in threat.
