"Hey! Is this the Command Staff? Perfect timing. I have something to report. We just scouted underground and discovered a full ten Fourth Level Mutated Zombies."

"We’ve already killed them, but we only scouted the immediate area. There are bound to be more Mutated Zombies in other places." As soon as the Communication Device connected, before the other party could even speak, Chen Yushi rattled off a stream of words.

He did this because he was worried that in the five minutes they were underground, the Command Staff might have ordered another rescue operation and been unable to reach them. That would have been a very serious oversight on their part.

So he led with this intel to let the other party know what they’d accomplished.

As expected, Tang Xingbang, who had been full of complaints, was momentarily stunned by what he heard.

Chen Yushi couldn’t give an answer right away. He immediately turned his gaze to Lin Xinghai.

He wasn’t the only one; Zuo Wenyao, on the other side, did the same.

They both knew that even though Lin Xinghai always stood to the side and had never made a move himself, he was the true core of their squad.

Seeing them both looking at him, Lin Xinghai thought for a moment and said, "If that’s the case, then we’ll take responsibility for all rescue operations in Zone C."

Lin Xinghai saying they would be responsible for all rescue operations in Zone C meant that the three of them would be taking on an area that constituted one-third of the entire theater of operations.

If anyone who didn’t know the situation had been there to hear it, they would have thought Lin Xinghai had lost his mind.

But after their expressions flickered with uncertainty for a moment, Chen Yushi and Zuo Wenyao asked just one question: "Can your Time Acceleration Ability handle that?"

That was the most crucial point. If Lin Xinghai’s Superpower ran out, the whole idea was just empty talk.
