After finishing the bath, Elias and Natasha dried themselves with towels before taking the robes hanging beside the door and putting them on. They then left the bathing room together and walked toward their respective rooms.

Today, he decided to wear a color he rarely chose.

Blue.

Once he had finished dressing, Elias stood before the mirror and slowly ran a comb through his crimson hair, trying to make it presentable. However, as he continued combing, his thoughts inevitably returned to what had happened in the bath earlier.

His hand stopped halfway through the motion, and a faint smile appeared on his face.

"She did say I can act spoiled with her..." he mumbled.

"Hehe."

The thought made him smile a little wider before he ruffled his hair with one hand.

’Nothing wrong with acting a bit loose.’

Elias left his room and walked toward Natasha’s, intending to call out to her, but when he reached the door, he realized he couldn’t send a Mental Whisper because she was not within his line of sight.

He stood outside the room for several seconds, staring at the door while considering what to do.

’So I cannot use Mental Whisper when the receiving person is not in my direct sight.’

After a moment of contemplation, he pushed the door open and walked inside.

Natasha was sitting on her bed.

The moment she noticed him, her golden eyes widened slightly, and she tilted her head to the right in silent confusion.

Elias, however, didn’t immediately respond.

His attention had been completely captured by her appearance.

She wore an elegant crimson dress with long, flowing sleeves that gathered delicately around her wrists, while the fabric followed the graceful curves of her body before falling toward the floor. Her black hair had been arranged into a beautiful braid, giving her an appearance that was both dignified and strangely gentle.

Elias stared for a few seconds before finally returning to his senses.

A faint smile appeared on his face as he walked toward her, and then he held the comb in front of her.

Natasha glanced at the comb before looking at his head, and she immediately understood what he wanted.

She patted the space beside her.

Elias chuckled inwardly before sitting down on the bed, facing her and waiting.

Natasha’s expression immediately became serious.

She raised the comb with great solemnity, slightly lifted her small nose, and narrowed her golden eyes as though she were preparing for an important battle.

Elias found the expression amusing.

’Why does she look so serious about combing my hair?’

He closed his eyes and allowed her to begin.

Natasha carefully moved the comb through his crimson hair, slowly working through every section with patient movements.

Elias relaxed as he felt the comb pass through his hair, and for a brief moment, the peaceful atmosphere reminded him of the bath earlier.

"Big sis—" Stella called as she was walking into the room with a childlike smile.

Her expression faltered the instant she saw Elias sitting beside Natasha.

Her crimson eyes widened as she looked between the two of them, and she scratched the back of her head while muttering, "Heh? How can they do this but not bathe together?"

Her confusion lasted only a moment before her eyes filled with excitement.

"I also want to comb my husband’s hair," she mumbled eagerly.

Stella began tiptoeing farther into the room, trying to approach without making a sound, and eventually she entered Natasha’s field of vision.

Natasha noticed her immediately.

Stella raised one hand and repeatedly closed and opened it while wearing a mischievous smile.

Natasha glanced toward Elias before looking back at Stella, and the faintest smirk appeared on her lips.

She then handed the comb to Stella before slowly stepping down from the bed without making a sound.

Stella eagerly accepted the comb.

Elias remained completely unaware of the exchange because his eyes were still closed.

For the next minute, Stella attempted to comb his hair.

If what she was doing could actually be called combing.

The moment she decided she was finished, she stepped away with a satisfied expression.

Elias finally opened his eyes and looked toward Natasha, who was sitting before him.

[Thanks,] he sent through Mental Whisper as he rose from the bed.

He didn’t bother checking his hair before leaving.

Natasha glanced toward the curtains, and a faint smile appeared on her face.

Meanwhile, Elias walked through the corridor toward Monica’s room.

Today, he needed to meet Priest Mekah, so he could not bathe or massage Monica as usual.

Elias reached her room, unlocked the door, and pushed it open.

His gaze immediately settled upon Monica, who was lying on the bed.

Her blue eyes also settled upon him, and then her gaze slowly moved upward.

She stared at his hair.

For a moment, there was silence.

Then Monica suddenly burst into laughter.

"Haha! What the hell is that hair?" she asked between laughs.

Elias frowned and touched his hair.

"Huh?" he asked. "Is something wrong with it?"

Monica shook her head while trying to suppress another laugh.

"Nothing, if you intend to look like a llama," she said.

"A what?" Elias muttered.

He immediately walked toward the mirror positioned nearby and looked at his reflection.

His face slowly paled.

"What the fuck?!" he muttered.

His hair was an absolute mess.

Some strands were sticking upward while others pointed in completely different directions, making him look as though he had been struck by a powerful gust of wind.

Elias stared at his reflection with a deadpan expression.

’Why did Natasha do this? Is this revenge for what I did in the bath?’ He wondered.

Several minutes later, after fixing his hair as best as he could, Elias sat in the chair beside Monica’s bed with a serious expression.

Monica looked at him with amusement.

"So you had one of your wives comb your hair?" she asked.

"What about you calling them sisters?" Elias asked, raising an eyebrow. "And yes, I did ask Natasha."

"Sisters?" Monica repeated with an amused expression. "I barely know them."

Elias frowned but didn’t press the matter any further.

"Natasha... hmm..." she mumbled. "Ah! The one with those humongous breasts."

Elias furrowed his brows.

"They are certainly big, but I do not think they are humongous," he said.

Monica’s lips curled upward.

"How do you know?" she asked with an amused look.

Elias immediately looked away.

"I have seen them, of course," he muttered.

Monica’s smile widened.

"That knowledge seems much deeper than simply knowing, my perverted husband," she teased.

"Ahem," Elias forced a cough before looking toward her. "Let’s not talk about my wife’s breasts."

"Heh," Monica smirked. "You seem to be enjoying it, though."

"I am not," Elias said as he rose from the chair. "Also, I have to meet Priest Mekah regarding the runesmith, so I cannot bathe or massage you today."

The moment those words left his mouth, Monica’s expression changed.

The amusement disappeared from her face, leaving behind a somber look.

She turned her head away from him and remained silent for several seconds before finally saying, "Alright."

There was no attempt to stop him, and although her voice remained calm, the sorrow in it was impossible to miss.

Elias looked at her for a moment.

He wanted to stay.

He wanted to continue caring for her as he had done every day since becoming her husband, but unfortunately, he couldn’t.

Meeting Priest Mekah was far more important at the moment, especially when the question of transporting Monica safely remained unresolved.

Elias eventually turned toward the door.

"I will come back later," he said.

Monica didn’t answer.

He left the room, and the door closed behind him.

Once he was gone and the room was locked again, Monica slowly moved her gaze toward the ceiling.

For several seconds, she simply stared at it.

Then she began to chuckle.

The sound was quiet and almost absent-minded, and there was nothing genuinely amusing about it.

It was far more lonely and bitter than humorous.
