Chapter 739: Chapter 739 - An amazing discovery (Part 2)

The sudden appearance of Altair in the palace actually surprised me. So this is exactly what he meant by saying "okay"?

It seems that he decided to just come back to where I was then patiently wait for me to finish what I was doing for the next three days. After that, it seems that HIS plan is that we go together to the coordinates of the unusual place he found. Wasn’t this too much information just to package it with an answer as short and simple as "OKAY"?

He did not even bother to discuss with me what he meant by "okay" or what his plans were regarding how the investigation will go about with that peculiar mountain. He just chose to come back, rest and seclude himself. Nobody would even know that he has returned to the palace if I did not see him personally go through the door and climb up the stairs with my own eyes. He only came out of his room on the third day that I told him that I could finally leave the palace to do other errands.

As he appeared from the top of the stairs, he took his time alighting the steps on the morning of the third day since he arrived. He joined us at the dining table for breakfast as if he has been doing it everyday all along though the reality is that he has not joined us for one for the past several months. My other husbands were equally surprised at the additional person at the table who suddenly appeared out of nowhere.

They looked at him not with fear or jealousy though which should have been expected but instead, with some type of reverence which is kind of weird by the way. Sure, Altair was drop dead ethereally handsome but I think the trio forgot that this guy would be my husband too in the near future and that he is the most cunning and mean out of that bunch of four deity fiancès of mine.

I had to cough exaggeratedly to get everybody’s attention back to eating breakfast. My three husbands seemed to blush almost instantly at being caught ogling another man for too long and in front of me at that.

As for Altair, he did not seem to care even for one bit that everyone was staring at him and he still had that usual smirk on his face. It was as if he was telling everyone that "Of course, I look THAT good." It was both infuriating and funny, honestly.

Breakfast continued with no one speaking. Everyone seemed to be overly cautious about how they move or how much noise they make at the dining table. My husbands were never this cautious with me or even with my parents around.

As for my children, they already treat Altair as part of our big family, calling him uncle sweetly. My parents were also chatting like the whole situation is part of any normal day in the palace.

I placed my utensils down and spoke with finality while addressing no one in particular, "I am leaving Eieneos today to start completing my other errands. Altair arrived three nights ago since he would be accompanying me to the place where my first errand is."

I looked at my parents and continued, "It seems that he found something rather peculiar in the human realm near the area where the fairies made their sanctuary. I have to check on it to confirm something."

Without telling Altair, I already sent a telepathic message to Laerad to be ready anytime as I would be calling for him to check on something for me soon. My husband’s curiousity was immediately piqued as to the specific details of the task but I simply told him that I will let him know more about it once I have arrived at the place.

Knowing that I would not give any further information as of the moment, he simply replied with a submissive "Hmm". It was already a good enough answer for me since it meant that Laerad has agreed to my request.

After breakfast, I said my goodbyes to everyone in Eieneos then left with Altair. All I can say about our travel is, if I thought I was doing well with my magical abilities, I can never be so wrong. Teleportation combined with Altair’s perfect control of time and space is definitely god-level and eye-opening for me.

There was no delay in the casting time whatsoever. He was using pinpoint accuracy for teleportation points using the places that he has already visited. Each casting of a spell did not even need several seconds for each transfer to happen.

After we left the main door of the palace, we teleported to the plaza near the garden then we reappeared in some random secluded alley in some far away town. We teleportated a few more times until we finally appeared in front of the lump of land that he said was interesting yet peculiar.

I did not even have the time to feel dizzy or sick after teleporting nonstop to several places in a span of less than a minute. Before I could adjust to Altair’s spell casting speed and the effects of the series of teleporations, we have already arrived at the coordinates he previously provided. With his magical proficiency, I don’t think anyone in this world would even be able to trace where he has been if he teleports away this fast.

Once in front of the lump of soil that Altair mentioned, I realized that it was not just a lump but more like a high mountain. I contacted Laerad by telepathy again to tell him that I arrived at the place. As for this huge land mass in front of me, I will never trust these deities’ idea of what "small" is since they could look at the same thing as me but the scale they use is totally wrong.

Laerad sounded surprised that I called on to him so quickly. I chuckled and replied that I also did not expect to arrive at the place in such a short amount of time. He asked me what I needed help with and I replied "Help me look into the memory of the world at the time when you were asleep in your seed form. I do not need every single thing or information. I just need everything about how this lump of soil in front of me came to be."
