As Seraphina Sullivan observed them, the pair was also observing her.

Fawn Lynn said in a low voice, "Friend, we’re all Players. We can definitely cooperate to survive these seven days in this dungeon. My Talent is Perception; I can sense the monsters’ locations."

Seraphina Sullivan didn’t respond, instead pondering whether to cooperate or act alone.

While Fawn Lynn was speaking, Moe Chandler’s gaze never left the Sound Wave Vibration Gun in Seraphina Sullivan’s hands.

Moe Chandler was extremely excited.

At the start of the game, the system had issued a reminder.

The [Alien Apocalypse] dungeon’s difficulty was simple.

Most people could complete the seven-day survival mission just by finding a safe spot, once they discovered the Aberrations’ Weaknesses: they were blind but had sensitive hearing.

As Players, Moe Chandler and Fawn Lynn had, of course, already discovered the Aberrations’ Weaknesses.

The two of them were a couple.

But they felt that even working together, they were still outmatched in a dungeon like this, which was why they had relied on Fawn Lynn’s Talent to find other Players.

However, that was before Moe Chandler used his [Future Items] Talent to randomly acquire a special item from the future: the [Identification Glasses].

Now, after he got a clear look at the data for the Sound Wave Vibration Gun in Seraphina Sullivan’s hands, he had a thought.

’Even without her, I can survive this dungeon as long as I get my hands on that item.’

Fawn Lynn’s eyelashes fluttered for a moment, and her knuckles tightened slightly.

She didn’t understand why her boyfriend would suddenly want to attack the Player she had worked so hard to find, but she didn’t object. Instead, she immediately adjusted her stance, stealthily pulling her right foot back half a step, ready to attack at any moment.

Seraphina Sullivan wasn’t a fool. Seeing the change in their expressions and their movements, she instantly understood their intentions.

Seraphina Sullivan’s eyes turned cold, and the smile on her lips vanished completely.

"It seems you’ve canceled your plans for cooperation." Her voice was like ice, and her finger had already silently slid to the Sound Wave Gun’s mode switch.

Moe Chandler’s pupils contracted. His plan had been seen through.

But in the next second, a savage, vicious look appeared on his face.

’Two against one. The advantage is mine. I can definitely take her down.’

"Now!" he roared, his body lunging forward. A dagger slid from his sleeve, tracing a cold glint of light in the dimness.

Fawn Lynn charged at almost the same time, rushing toward Seraphina Sullivan.

The sound of their footsteps exploded in the dead-silent street, like stones thrown into a placid pond.

Perhaps because of the noise, the faint rustling of agitated Aberrations could be heard in the distance, but no one had the time to care right now.

Moe Chandler thought that if he took care of Seraphina Sullivan and got her special gun, he could deal with the Aberrations even if they arrived.

A sharp glint flashed in Seraphina Sullivan’s eyes as she slammed her thumb down on the switch.

"VMMMM—!"

The Sound Wave Vibration Gun let out a low hum, and the air around its muzzle visibly distorted.

The second mode, [Low Frequency Oscillation], activated instantly, sending an invisible shock wave hurtling toward the pair.

Moe Chandler had wanted to dodge, but he misjudged his own speed. He thought he could get away, but he found it was impossible to evade. The shock wave, like an invisible Wall, slammed violently into his chest!

His internal organs felt as if they’d been struck by a giant hammer. His eardrums instantly filled with blood, and his entire body was sent flying backward, crashing hard onto the concrete five meters away.

The glasses he was wearing flew off and landed at Seraphina Sullivan’s feet.

Fawn Lynn’s heart filled with terror when she saw this.

She didn’t have Identification Glasses, so she had no idea what had just happened. She just assumed it was Seraphina Sullivan’s Talent Ability.

She wanted to beg for mercy.

"Please..."

But why would Seraphina Sullivan give an enemy a chance to regret their actions?

She aimed directly at Fawn Lynn and fired another blast of Low Frequency Oscillation. Fawn Lynn’s petite body was thrown into the air like a kite with a broken string before smashing violently against a rusty fire escape, accompanied by the sickening crunch of breaking bones.

"Cough..." Moe Chandler struggled to get up, only to find his limbs wouldn’t obey him. Blood trickled from his ears, and his vision was a sea of red.

Through the blur, he saw Seraphina Sullivan pick up a pair of glasses from the ground.

"You..." he began, his voice hoarse, but then he heard a cacophony of shrieks from the distance.

It was the Aberrations!

They had been drawn by the sounds of the fight.

Seraphina Sullivan heard the sounds too.

She said nothing, glancing at the two collapsed on the ground, groaning in pain, and began to walk away from the place of trouble.

’You can stay here and feed the monsters,’ she thought, leaving Moe Chandler and his partner behind.

A bloodcurdling scream suddenly rang out.

Seraphina Sullivan continued on her way, heading for a safe place.

When Seraphina Sullivan picked up the glasses Moe Chandler had dropped, a line of semi-transparent data suddenly appeared on the lenses the moment her fingertips touched the frame.

After putting on the glasses, Seraphina Sullivan understood why Moe Chandler had been so friendly one moment and had suddenly attacked her the next.

’So this is the item he got with his Future Items Talent? I can’t believe it can actually identify item data.’

After putting on the glasses, Seraphina Sullivan discovered they could reveal the data of all sorts of items.

’Looks like that guy coveted my Sound Wave Vibration Gun. That’s why he changed his mind about cooperating and tried to take me out to get it.’

Seraphina Sullivan sneered at the thought.

But Moe Chandler and Fawn Lynn had overestimated their own strength. They were knocked back by Seraphina Sullivan’s Sound Wave Vibration Gun, then finished off by the Aberrations drawn by the noise.

’These glasses can only identify item data, but when combined with my Eye of Resume, they complement each other perfectly.’

One can only identify data on living beings, and the other can only identify data on non-living things.

Together, the two support abilities were like an omniscient Identification Eye.

Afterward, Seraphina Sullivan continued her search for a safe place to wait out the seven days.

Now it was night. Explosions and the shrieks of Aberrations could be heard intermittently in the distance.

However, Seraphina Sullivan also noticed that the Native People in the dungeon had quickly discovered the Aberrations’ Weaknesses. They were moving cautiously, not making a single sound to evade the hunting Aberrations.

The streets soon filled with pedestrians walking silently and cautiously.

Seraphina Sullivan placed the Sound Wave Vibration Gun from her hand into the Space of her Scavenging Backpack.
