He later heard from a surviving friend that the miraculous pills could grant the user a special constitution, which made him so jealous he couldn’t sleep at night.

With a CLACK, Jude Donovan lowered his binoculars, his eyes gleaming with excitement.

He had just clearly seen the woman’s figure weaving through the swarm of spiders.

That level of agility, far surpassing that of a normal person, was definitive proof that she had taken the Body Transformation Pills!

Although the profile looked simple, the overwhelming sense of pressure it radiated made the hair on Seraphina Sullivan’s arms stand on end.

Not only was the monster powerful on its own, but what was even more terrifying was the massive army of spiders following it—a black, crushing wave of them, each one baring its fangs, its compound eyes glinting with bloodlust.

Seraphina Sullivan stiffly turned her head and gave Jude Donovan a smile that was uglier than a grimace. "So... fighting alone really is a bit tough. About that invitation from before—I accept! Let’s team up!"

Jude Donovan: "..."

’Is she kidding me?’

The expression on his face was a sight to behold.

First shock, then fear, which turned into anger, and finally, deep contempt. "Now you want to team up?!"

He pointed at the approaching spider tide, his voice trembling. "Team up with whoever you want! I’m out of here!"

With that, he turned and ran without a second’s hesitation.

At this moment, Seraphina Sullivan couldn’t care less about the Power Apple Tree. Just surviving this overwhelming swarm and the terrifying Spider Queen would be a miracle.

But if she got the chance, she was still going to get that Power Apple.
