The arachnid Demon King attacked first.

Its many eyes flashed, and a vast net of corrosive webbing erupted from its mouth. The web spread across the sky, twisting through space as it descended toward Bai Qingyue.

The substance was far more dangerous than ordinary poison. Each strand carried a corrosive force capable of weakening defensive formations and damaging the spatial structure around it.

An ordinary cultivator would have been forced to retreat or spend considerable energy destroying the net.

Bai Qingyue did neither.

She raised the Sun Shooting Bow and aimed directly at the arachnid Demon King.

The Weapon Spirit immediately began gathering solar energy.

Master, the webbing is spreading across a wide area. If we destroy it directly, some of the corrosive residue may remain. I recommend targeting the source.

Bai Qingyue agreed.

She drew the string and released the arrow.

THWIP!

The solar projectile crossed the distance in an instant.

As it struck the approaching webbing, the concentrated heat incinerated the corrosive strands. The net dissolved into harmless white smoke, leaving the arrow’s trajectory unobstructed.

The arachnid Demon King had expected the webbing to delay her attack.

Instead, the arrow emerged from the smoke and struck directly between its central cluster of eyes.

A terrible shriek erupted from the creature.

Its enormous body convulsed, and several of its legs lost their grip on the pagoda. Before it could recover, the solar energy spread through its armored head, burning through the layers of protection surrounding its consciousness.

The arachnid tumbled from the structure in a blazing heap.

It struck the ground below with enough force to shatter the already-damaged courtyard, but Bai Qingyue had already turned toward her next target.

THWIP! THWIP! THWIP! THWIP!

Four arrows crossed the sky in rapid succession.

The Weapon Spirit guided their trajectories, adjusting each shot according to Bai Qingyue’s intentions and the shifting positions of the incoming demons. Her fortune further complicated their attempts to evade the attacks.

One Demon General attempted to dodge to the left.

A solar arrow passed through the space he had chosen as his escape route, forcing him to veer directly into the path of another projectile.

A second demon erected a powerful defensive formation.

The arrow struck the weakest point in the formation’s structure, and the entire barrier shattered before the demon could reinforce it.

A third tried to hide behind a spatial distortion.

The arrow followed the unstable opening, pierced through the distorted space, and emerged directly before its target.

The demons quickly realized that the arrows were not following predictable trajectories.

Their evasive maneuvers were repeatedly disrupted, while their defensive techniques failed at the worst possible moments. Bai Qingyue was not simply relying on the weapon’s destructive power. She was combining it with her control over fortune, creating openings that made the Sun Shooting Bow even more dangerous.

The molten brute was the next to attack.

It roared and launched itself toward the Golden Immortal Beast, its enormous body tearing through the air like a falling mountain. The flames within its rocky frame surged, gathering around its fist until the limb resembled a mass of molten iron.

The brute intended to crush Bai Qingyue in a single blow.

She stood her ground.

The Sun Shooting Bow rose in her hands, and the plasma string drew backward until the weapon reached its maximum tension.

The solar energy gathering between the bow’s limbs became increasingly concentrated. The surrounding air distorted, and the ancient runes shone with such intensity that the dark star-iron seemed to have transformed into a fragment of the sun itself.

Bai Qingyue aimed at the center of the brute’s chest.

Then she released.

The arrow struck its torso.

Unlike the previous projectiles, this one did not immediately explode upon impact. Instead, it penetrated deep into the molten body, carrying its concentrated solar energy directly toward the core that sustained the demon’s existence.

For a moment, the brute continued charging.

Then it stopped.

A strange expression appeared on its rocky face, as though it could not understand why its body had suddenly become unresponsive. The cracks across its chest brightened, and the flames within them shifted from their usual dark red to an incandescent white.

The solar energy had reached its core.

Before the brute could release another roar, its entire body detonated from the inside out.

The explosion scattered molten fragments across the battlefield. However, the solar heat rapidly consumed the demonic energy clinging to them, leaving behind pieces of cooling rock that fell harmlessly toward the ruins.

Bai Qingyue turned toward the remaining enemies.

Her black hair streamed behind her in the turbulent wind, catching the light of the solar arrows she continued to release. The pale blue gown around her body fluttered as she moved, but her hands remained steady, guiding the bow with an elegance that contrasted sharply with the destruction unfolding around her.

She no longer looked like a cultivator struggling to overcome the limitations of her restored foundation.

She looked like the master of a divine weapon, capable of turning the sky itself into a battlefield under her control.

One demon after another fell.

The space around the Golden Immortal Beast became a region of concentrated solar destruction. Every enemy that entered the effective range of the Sun Shooting Bow was forced to confront a projectile that could pierce its defenses, while Bai Qingyue’s fortune made it increasingly difficult to escape.

The Weapon Spirit worked tirelessly, regulating the circulation of power and guiding each attack.

Master, another target is approaching from above!

Bai Qingyue adjusted her aim.

I see it.

She released an arrow without even turning her head.

The projectile curved through the air, crossed behind a collapsing pagoda, and struck a demon that had attempted to attack from the blind spot. Its body disappeared beneath a burst of white fire before the creature could reach the Golden Immortal Beast.

Two more on the right!

Bai Qingyue fired twice.

The first arrow pierced a Demon General’s defensive shield, while the second struck the creature behind it. Both fell before they could unleash their attacks.

The Weapon Spirit was becoming increasingly excited.

This is wonderful! Master, if we continue at this pace, we might be able to clear the entire sky!

Bai Qingyue almost laughed.

Do not become too excited. There are still more powerful enemies below.

Then we shall shoot them too!
