Immortal Ascension Through Marriage: Investing in My Wife Get Returns
Chapter 333 - 332: Sha Luo
The final sibling.
The eldest of the Four Spatial Calamities.
And the one whose mastery of spatial laws surpassed that of the other three.
Lin Yuan’s expression became thoughtful.
"If more are here, they should have sensed the deaths of their siblings by now."
Ku Ming nodded.
"Then they may be approaching."
Bai Qingyue looked toward the distant mountains.
"Will they come alone?"
Lin Yuan shook his head.
"I do not know. But if they have any sense, they will not rush into the same situation as their brothers."
He glanced toward the spatial traces left behind by the three battles.
"Their abilities were dangerous, but they also revealed a great deal about the relationship between the Sacred Grounds and the spatial laws of the Hollow Beyond."
He looked at his right hand.
"My Dao Fruit has benefited from these encounters. I have gained a clearer understanding of how Thunder, Rain, and Three Rebirths can be used to examine the structure of foreign techniques."
Ku Ming’s expression was solemn.
"That is valuable, but we should not allow the opportunity to distract us from the danger. They may possess a deeper understanding of spatial laws than the three who have fallen."
Lin Yuan nodded.
"I know."
He turned toward Bai Qingyue.
"How are you feeling?"
She smiled.
"Perfectly fine. The battles did not affect me, and the music helped me understand how my own cultivation can interact with the laws of this place."
Lin Yuan looked at her carefully.
After confirming that her aura remained stable, he nodded.
"Good."
He then turned toward Ku Ming.
"Master Ku, I would like you to help Qingyue examine the remaining spatial traces while I prepare for the next encounter."
Ku Ming immediately agreed.
"Very well."
Lin Yuan walked toward the center of the clearing.
He did not sit down.
Instead, he stood quietly beneath the falling rain, allowing the Dao Fruit to circulate through his body.
The three principles responded to one another.
Thunder illuminated the surrounding laws.
Rain revealed the flow of energy.
Three Rebirths connected the changes into a continuous sequence.
Lin Yuan had not yet reached the point where he could control the spatial laws of the Sacred Grounds themselves.
Nor could he repair the ancient Dongtian merely by understanding the relationships between its damaged principles.
But he had taken another step.
His Dao Fruit was no longer just a crystallization of his comprehension.
It was becoming a means through which he could examine the world.
And the more he understood, the more clearly he could perceive the possibilities hidden within the ancient realm.
The Sacred Grounds were not merely a place where cultivators could accelerate their cultivation.
They were the remnants of an ancient structure whose true purpose had been forgotten.
The Chosen Immortal Clan had left for the Imperial Domain.
The ancestral homeland they abandoned had survived, damaged but not destroyed.
And somewhere within its ancient foundations, the answer to the catastrophe that had reshaped the world might still remain.
Lin Yuan raised his head.
Far beyond the mountains, the spatial laws trembled once more.
A faint silver ripple appeared across the horizon.
This time, the fluctuation was far more stable than those created by the three fallen Demon Kings.
It did not force its way through the surrounding space.
Instead, it aligned itself with the existing coordinates, moving through the ancient structure as though it had been part of the realm from the beginning.
Lin Yuan’s eyes narrowed.
"They are here."
Bai Qingyue stepped beside him.
Ku Ming’s golden eyes turned toward the horizon.
The rain continued to fall.
Then a woman appeared above the distant mountain peak.
She wore a dark silver robe, and her long black hair flowed behind her like a river of ink. Her crimson eyes were calm, but the space surrounding her body was so stable that the spiritual Qi seemed to arrange itself around her without resistance.
Sha Luo.
The eldest of the Four Spatial Calamities.
Her gaze passed over the ancient mountains, the damaged clearing, and the three demonic corpses.
For several breaths, she remained silent.
Then her eyes settled upon Lin Yuan.
A faint spatial ripple spread across the heavens.
"Lin Yuan."
Her voice carried across the distance.
"You have killed my three younger brothers."
Lin Yuan looked at her calmly.
"Yes."
Sha Luo’s expression did not change.
But the space around her became increasingly unstable.
The mountains trembled.
The rain stopped falling.
And the ancient laws of the Sacred Grounds began to respond to the arrival of a Demon King whose mastery of spatial principles far surpassed that of her siblings.
Sha Luo raised one hand.
A silver ring appeared around her wrist.
Then another formed around her other hand.
The rings rotated slowly, and the surrounding space folded inward, creating a series of overlapping circles that extended toward the horizon.
Lin Yuan’s Dao Fruit trembled.
For the first time since the four siblings had entered the Sacred Grounds, he sensed a spatial technique that did not rely primarily on imposing a foreign structure upon the realm.
Sha Luo was doing something different.
She was finding the existing relationships between the ancient spatial layers and using them to her advantage.
The realization made Lin Yuan’s expression more serious.
Xie Luo had forced his coordinates into the realm.
Hei Zang had attempted to bind those coordinates.
Mo Yan had concealed himself within the shadows created by the surrounding space.
Sha Luo, however, appeared to be using the structure that already existed.
She was not simply manipulating space.
She was cooperating with its underlying arrangement.
That made her far more dangerous than her siblings.
Sha Luo’s gaze shifted briefly toward the Dao Fruit’s faint aura.
A trace of surprise appeared in her eyes.
"So the reports were correct."
She looked directly at Lin Yuan.
"You possess a Dao Fruit that allows you to perceive the principles underlying other techniques."
Lin Yuan did not deny it.
Sha Luo slowly raised her other hand.
"Then let us see whether your comprehension is enough to save you."
The silver rings expanded.
The space between the mountains folded.
And the final battle between Lin Yuan and the eldest of the Four Spatial Calamities began.
