Chapter 316: Chapter 315: Ten Demon Kings (3)

Xie Luo’s expression gradually became serious.

“There.”

Hei Zang leaned forward.

“You found them?”

“I found a likely location.”

Xie Luo pointed toward the center of the image.

“The surrounding laws are unusually greater. The spatial coordinates are stable, and the density of spiritual Qi is far greater than that of the neighboring regions. There is also an ancient circulation pattern beneath the surface.”

He paused.

“Someone has been cultivating there.”

Sha Luo’s eyes flashed.

“Lin Yuan.”

“Most likely.”

Mo Yan let out a cold laugh.

“Then why are we wasting time? Take us there.”

Xie Luo did not move immediately.

Instead, he carefully examined the image, tracing the surrounding coordinates with his fingers. Several times, the image nearly collapsed, but each time he managed to stabilize it.

Finally, he nodded.

“I have established a direct spatial lock.”

He rose from his seated position.

“However, I should warn you that the coordinates are not as simple as they appear. This realm is strange. If we force our way through without preserving the relationship between the connected pockets, we may emerge in a completely different region.”

Hei Zang grinned.

“Then it is fortunate that you are with us.”

Mo Yan nodded in agreement.

“Your spatial locking skills have improved again. Even among our clan, few can locate a hidden region within a damaged Dongtian so quickly.”

Sha Luo gave her younger brother a rare smile.

“You have done well.”

Xie Luo accepted their praise without showing much emotion, although a faint trace of satisfaction appeared in his eyes.

He had spent countless years studying spatial laws.

The ability to locate hidden domains was not something he had acquired overnight. It had required painstaking effort, repeated failures, and several near-death experiences in the Hollow Beyond.

Now, his understanding had reached a level where he could identify relationships between spatial coordinates that ordinary Demon Kings could not even perceive.

Finding Lin Yuan would be the perfect opportunity to demonstrate the true extent of his abilities.

“Stay close,” he said.

The four siblings moved simultaneously.

Xie Luo extended his right hand, and the dark green strands of energy surrounding his fingers converged upon a single point.

The spatial tunnel narrowed.

The countless coordinates around them shifted, and the ancient laws of the Sacred Grounds responded with a faint tremor.

For an instant, Xie Luo felt as though he were standing before an enormous door whose surface had been covered by layers of dust.

He could not see what lay beyond it.

But he could sense that the structure behind the door was far older than the spatial techniques he had mastered.

A strange feeling of unease arose in his heart.

He suppressed it almost immediately.

No matter how ancient the realm was, he was still a Demon King. With three siblings assisting him, he did not believe that a damaged spatial pocket could pose a serious threat.

The four figures stepped forward.

The tunnel folded around them, and their bodies vanished.

A moment later, the world changed.

They emerged above an ancient mountain range.

The sky was clear, and the air was filled with spiritual Qi so dense that faint mist had formed around the distant peaks. Ancient trees covered the mountainsides, their branches stretching toward the heavens, while streams of crystalline water flowed through valleys where the laws of Heaven and Earth circulated with remarkable stability.

For a brief moment, all four siblings remained motionless.

Even they could not conceal their surprise.

The density of spiritual Qi was extraordinary.

It was not merely richer than the surrounding regions. The Qi here possessed a purity that was rarely found even in the Hollow Beyond. Every breath carried traces of ancient laws, and the space itself seemed to have been carefully arranged to support cultivation.

Hei Zang inhaled deeply.

“What an extraordinary place.”

Mo Yan narrowed his eyes.

“The laws are almost complete.”

Sha Luo looked toward the distant mountains.

“This is the region you detected?”

Xie Luo nodded.

“Yes.”

His expression, however, was no longer as relaxed as before.

The moment he entered the region, he felt a subtle pressure descend upon his body. It was not strong enough to suppress his cultivation, but it was pervasive, touching his Primordial Spirit and the deepest layers of his demonic foundation.

The feeling reminded him of the Hollow Beyond.

There, the laws were harsh, violent, and unforgiving. The environment had shaped the bodies and souls of demons over countless generations, forcing them to adapt to a world where the weak could not survive.

Here, the laws were different.

They were ancient, complete, and deeply interconnected.

The difference was so pronounced that Xie Luo could not help feeling that he had entered a place that belonged to an earlier era.

He slowly extended his spiritual sense.

The surrounding space responded immediately.

A faint ripple passed through the air, and the coordinates he had established began to shift.

Xie Luo’s expression changed.

“What is it?” Sha Luo asked.

He frowned.

“The spatial structure is interfering with my lock.”

“Can you maintain it?”

“Of course.”

Xie Luo raised his chin.

“It is merely reacting to the environment. I have already established the connection, and the coordinates are anchored to our origin. Even if the surrounding laws fluctuate, I can still return to this location.”

He did not mention the faint discomfort he felt when his spatial energy touched the ancient laws.

Nor did he notice that, deep beneath the mountains, several damaged principles had briefly responded to his presence.

The four siblings exchanged glances.

They had come here to search for Lin Yuan and Bai Qingyue, and there was no reason to waste time admiring the scenery.

“Separate,” Sha Luo said.

“We will search the four directions. If anyone discovers the targets, notify the others immediately. Do not engage recklessly unless you have a clear advantage.”

Hei Zang laughed.

“Against a cultivators who have only recently reached Soul Transformation? What are you worried about?”

Sha Luo gave him a cold look.

“Three Demon Kings have already died because someone underestimated them.”

Hei Zang’s smile faded slightly.

He knew exactly what she meant.

The deaths of Mo Du, Yuan Kong, and Qian Yan had caused a considerable disturbance within the Hollow Beyond. The three Demon Kings had not been weak, and the fact that they had fallen to two cultivators from the Nine Provinces was a humiliation that could not be ignored.

Nevertheless, Hei Zang still believed the reports had exaggerated Lin Yuan’s actual strength.

A cultivator’s reputation often grew after a victory, especially when the truth was difficult to verify.

He did not intend to make the same mistake as those who had already died, but he was not going to treat Lin Yuan as an unbeatable opponent either.

“Very well,” he said. “I will be careful.”

The four siblings then separated.
