Chapter 371: Artifacts of the Seven Kings

Dark Prison Death Curse!

Millions of death-aura tendrils slithered from beneath the Nether King's voluminous black robes like black snakes. Converging in midair, they coalesced instantly into a prison of darkness that shrouded the area where the Faceless Angel stood. An evil, soul-annihilating power continuously pulsed from the prison, as if trying to grind the angel to dust.

Red Lotus Devouring Destruction!

The enchanting King of Red Lotus looked exactly like a marrow-sucking succubus. Mysterious crimson patterns surfaced on her exquisite face, making her appear exceptionally alluring. Her red lips parted, exhaling a dense cloud of crimson mist that drifted to the Faceless Angel's feet and transformed into a massive, bewitching red lotus.

Countless tiny, crimson fleshy tendrils extended from the lotus, drilling toward the Faceless Angel's body.

"Die!" an earth-shaking roar suddenly erupted from the bottom of the sea, and a terrifying figure covered entirely in golden dragon scales burst from the water.

The Dragon King no longer bore any resemblance to his former self. His originally short stature had grown exceptionally tall and massive, akin to a small mountain. Every inch of his skin was covered in gleaming golden dragon scales, tightly arranged and reflecting a cold, metallic light in the sun.

He no longer looked human, but rather like a dragonkin. Twin horns crowned his head, dragon wings sprouted from his back, and his hands and feet had long since morphed into claws.

His dark golden, slit-like pupils overflowed with monstrous fury. He rushed the Faceless Angel in an instant, unreservedly unleashing a berserk power capable of destroying heaven and earth.

Under the full-force assault of the Seven Kings, they finally managed to... break a single layer of the Faceless Angel's skin.

Tiny cracks surfaced on the Faceless Angel's statue-like body. It seemed enraged. A terrifying gray light surged from its form, and with a flap of its wings, countless gray-gleaming feathers shed into the air.

Centering on it, a massive tempest of feather blades instantly materialized!

The gray feather blades seemed capable of slicing through space itself, leaving countless tiny gashes in the void. Being the closest, the Dragon King suffered a fate akin to death by a thousand cuts. His dragon scales shattered, and countless tiny bloody blossoms exploded across his body.

The dark prison binding it shattered with a boom, the red lotus beneath its feet was torn to shreds, and the Sword of Judgment snapped on impact!

The Seven Kings' expressions changed drastically as they dodged madly, but numerous cuts from the feather blades still appeared on their bodies—except for the Nether King, who remained entirely enveloped in his black robe.

If even the Seven Kings were in such a state, the Gold experts on the island fared much worse. Casualties had already begun to appear; several Gold powerhouses failed to dodge in time and had their bodies pierced straight through by the feather blades.

Logically speaking, such tiny wounds shouldn't have been enough to kill a Gold expert. However, the gray feather blades seemed to carry a type of energy that annihilated all vitality, making it impossible for them to resist.

If not for the fact that these Gold experts were situated further away and hadn't dared approach the center of the battlefield, the casualties would have been far more severe.

This battle was essentially like seven elementary schoolers ganging up on an adult man. Unfortunately for them, this adult man was also trained in kickboxing.

While the scratching and biting of the children could certainly injure the man, once he got serious, they couldn't withstand even a single strike.

As for the Gold experts present, they were like ants on the ground, liable to be trampled to death at the slightest misstep.

Rumble...

The island began to tear apart, punctured by countless feather blades until it could no longer hold together, allowing seawater to constantly seep in and spread.

"How... how is this possible!?" Bathed in blood, the Dragon King's face was filled with horror. He couldn't imagine that the combined full-force strike of the Seven Kings could only break a single layer of the enemy's skin.

And this was just Pride's little pet. What about Pride? Just how strong was Pride, a being on the level of a God!?

The Faceless Angel did not give them any chance to catch their breath. It flapped its wings once more, and countless gray feathers tore through the void, shooting toward the Seven Kings.

"Damn it!" the Dragon King suddenly bellowed. "Use the Royal Power Artifacts!"

In truth, there was no need for him to say it; everyone else knew it too. If they didn't use them now, they would truly die.

At that moment, the Nether King ripped off his black robe, revealing a fully armed suit of pitch-black armor. It was a full-body set that encased every part of him, complete with a faceplate.

The only things left exposed were the Nether King's eyes, burning with ghostly green fire.

Right now, the Nether King looked exactly like an Asura crawling out of Hell. Every inch of the cold, pitch-black armor emanated a dark glow, as if it had absorbed all the dark energy in the universe.

The helmet was styled in a ferocious Asura visage with sharp horns sweeping upward. Bizarre symbols were carved into the faceplate, its edges as sharp as blades.

"Hide behind me!" the Nether King shouted. He immediately stepped in front of the group alone, using his physical body to forcibly withstand the feather blade tempest.

Clang, clang, clang...

An endless barrage of metallic clashing rang out. The Nether King's armor only held up for a moment before scratches appeared. Yet, miraculously, the armor healed at a maddening pace. What was more, after healing, its defensive power seemed to increase drastically. The damage the gray feather blades could inflict grew smaller and smaller, eventually only leaving faint white marks.

Until finally, not even white marks remained.

Seeing this, Su Mu narrowed his eyes. He suddenly thought of Yang Dongqing's [Seven Halls Yama]—a living suit of armor that possessed the ability of absolute adaptation.

The Nether King's armor was obviously much stronger than Yang Dongqing's.

Under the Nether King's protection, the feather blade tempest was blocked. Looking at the Nether King, who seemed like a heavenly god descending to the mortal world, the group of Gold experts regained their confidence.

"Is this the Royal Power Artifact [Yama of the Ten Halls]? Known as the absolute strongest defense under heaven—it truly lives up to its reputation!" someone said, their face full of joy.

This feeling of surviving a disaster and regaining hope was indeed ecstatic.

It seemed the Gold Artifact [Seven Halls Yama] was likely a replica of [Yama of the Ten Halls].

Su Mu thought silently to himself. Royal Power Artifacts were indeed worthy of being Origin Divine Artifacts. There was a good reason why the Seven Kings had been able to rely on them to end the Nightmare Era all those years ago.

The Seven Kings bringing out the Royal Power Artifacts against this enemy was within his expectations; his very goal this time had been to see what they looked like.

He had never forgotten that the Royal Power Artifacts were the keys to opening the Land of Origin. As the only person to have ever entered the Land of Origin, even though he had lost the memories of his past life, he knew very well that whether it was the Divine Dream World or the Nightmare Invasion, absolutely everything stemmed from the Land of Origin.

Hidden within it were secrets that even Gods would covet.

How could he miss out on such a treasure trove in this life?

With the Nether King activating a Royal Power Artifact, the remaining six Kings naturally stopped hiding their own.

The Dragon King pulled out a wooden scabbard carved with mountains, rivers, heaven, earth, and all myriad birds and beasts. It was exactly the scabbard of the Royal Power Artifact, the [Sword of Royal Power].

The Heavenly King clapped his hands together, then slowly parted them. Endless starlight converged in his palms, manifesting into a longbow. The bow seemed to be formed from a vast galaxy, twinkling with specks of deep blue like stardust.

Royal Power Artifact, [Starfall Heavenly Punishment]!

The Saint King reached his left hand into his robes. When he drew it back out, his hand had completely transformed. It was now made entirely of a deep blue crystalline substance, with white jade-like finger bones faintly visible within. Embedded in his palm was a golden, diamond-shaped crystal that looked like a miniature sun.

Royal Power Artifact, [Left Hand of God]!

The King of Red Lotus unclasped the necklace around her neck, pulling the pendant out from her cleavage. It was a small, exquisitely crafted red jade gourd.

Royal Power Artifact, [Red Lotus Heaven-Seizing Gourd]!

Finally, only King Chi and the Undead King were left.

Beneath her wide robes, King Chi's fingers continuously rubbed the False Supreme Heaven, but she did not reveal it. The False Supreme Heaven only had two wishing opportunities left, and she couldn't bear to use them.

The Undead King said impassively, "I did not bring a Royal Power Artifact this time."

The Dragon King glared furiously at the two of them. "At a time like this, you still dare to hold back?"
