I Use Illusions to Control the Whole World

Chapter 301: The Blood Clan Is the Noblest Race!

  • Next Chapter

Wu Hui could act high and mighty toward Specter because, compared to the Blood Moon Empire behind him, the Revolutionary Army was like an ant before an elephant.

But the Head of the Seven Deadly Sins, Pride, was different. This powerhouse had supposedly fought King Chi and retreated unscathed after making her suffer a loss. Even the Empire would have to treat someone like that with due respect.

"I am Wu Hui, an envoy sent by the Undead King. Greetings, Lord Pride." He bowed respectfully, but the sheer arrogance in his eyes when he mentioned the Undead King could not be hidden.

He certainly had the right to be arrogant. After all, he represented the Undead King. With that status, he would be received by the Kings of any empire in the world.

But Su Mu was not a King, and he cared nothing for the Undead King.

"A mere Silver Grade member of the Blood Clan has no right to speak with me. Go back and tell the Undead King to send someone of actual importance." Su Mu's voice was completely indifferent, devoid of emotion, but the sheer contempt in his words made Wu Hui clench his fists.

He had not expected that after lowering his stance, Pride would only intensify his arrogance.

Wu Hui swallowed his anger, not daring to lash out. Watching from the sidelines, Specter let out a cold sneer. The tables had truly turned.

"Lord Pride, I may not be qualified to converse with you, but I am here representing the Undead King!"

"So what?"

"You..." Wu Hui took a deep breath. A flash of anger crossed his dark eyes, but he concealed it well.

"Lord Pride, I know you are displeased with our empire's actions, but the enemy of an enemy is a friend. I believe you understand this logic. Moreover, I have come with genuine sincerity."

At this, Wu Hui slowly straightened up, puffing out his chest. "Lord Pride, things have been quite difficult for you lately, haven't they? To tell you the truth, I am here to help you."

"Heh." A contemptuous chuckle echoed from beneath the Silver-White Mask, like a high and mighty God looking down on an arrogant mortal.

"Help me? Are you even worthy?"

Wu Hui did not get angry; instead, he smiled. "Lord Pride, you had best listen to the decree the Undead King sent me to deliver. You are in immense danger right now. You could face erasure at the hands of Supreme Heaven at any moment. However, the Undead King highly values your abilities, so he intends to help you through this crisis."

For some reason, looking at Wu Hui's arrogant and confident demeanor, Su Mu just wanted to laugh. People were truly amusing sometimes. The Undead King was the one who had plotted against him in the first place, yet now he was turning around and offering to help.

This hypocritical posturing of playing the saint after stabbing him in the back made him want to laugh.

A King was truly a King. This level of shamelessness was far beyond what any ordinary person could achieve.

"As everyone knows, the Blood Clan is the noblest race in the world! We are powerful, immortal, and possess a superior bloodline that far surpasses humanity. The Undead King stands at the very apex of the Blood Clan. Not even Supreme Heaven can kill the great Undead King!"

Wu Hui's expression turned arrogant and fanatical, his words laced with a sense of absolute certainty. In his deeply ingrained worldview, the Blood Clan was the noblest race, bar none!

"Now, the great Undead King deeply appreciates you, so he has decided to give you a chance—a chance to join the Blood Clan. As long as you agree, Lord Pride, the Undead King will personally transform you into a member of the Blood Clan. With your strength combined with the Blood Clan's powerful vitality, even if King Chi deploys Supreme Heaven, erasing you will be exceedingly difficult."

Wu Hui smiled. "Lord Pride, this is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. You must understand that the Undead King rarely turns people into members of the Blood Clan. There may have been some minor friction between our two sides, but in the face of mutual benefit, that means nothing. By joining the Blood Clan, not only will you preserve your life under Supreme Heaven, but your strength will also reach a whole new level.

"And the Blood Moon Empire will gain another great general. It is a win-win situation!"

"Are you done?" Su Mu said indifferently.

Wu Hui narrowed his eyes slightly. "I am. What do you think, Lord Pride?"

"Then you can go die."

The moment the word 'die' left his lips, the smile froze on Wu Hui's face. He subconsciously took a half-step back, forcing a calm expression. "Lord Pride, I advise you not to do anything impulsive. I represent the Undead King..."

"Do you know why the Undead King only sent a Silver like you?" The corners of Su Mu's mouth curled into a smirk. "Because he didn't want to lose a member of the Gold Blood Clan."

"Specter, kill him."

Specter remained silent for a moment before slowly walking toward Wu Hui.

He knew Pride was forcing him to choose a side. He didn't doubt for a second that Pride—suspected to be a Gold King—could effortlessly kill a member of the silver blood clan. Making him carry out the execution was simply a way to force him to show his stance.

Though he had no desire to offend the Undead King, he still chose to follow Pride's order.

After all, Pride had saved him. On top of that, the Revolutionary Army was hidden deep within the Chiyan Empire. Even if the Blood Moon Empire really wanted to make a move against the Revolutionary Army, they would have to break through the Chiyan Empire's defenses first.

"You... you! Specter! What are you doing? Do you really dare to make an enemy of the Blood Moon Empire? I am an envoy sent by the Undead King!" Wu Hui backed away continuously, his face full of panic.

Specter stared at him calmly. "I know," he said evenly. "That is why you got to live for three extra days. But now, you can die."

He slowly extended his hand and continuously curled his fingers inward.

Wu Hui's expression drastically changed. He turned to flee, only to realize in absolute horror that his body could no longer move!

It felt as if a massive, invisible hand was gripping him tightly. He could not even bend a single finger.

As Specter continued to close his fingers, Wu Hui's body felt like it had been plunged into a ten-thousand-meter deep sea, subjected to an endless, crushing pressure from all sides.

Crack, crack...

The sound of shattering bones rang out. His eyes bulged, and thick veins throbbed against his pale face. The terror in his gaze practically overflowed. He wanted to beg for mercy, but he could not even open his mouth.

Bang!

Specter completely closed his fingers into a fist. Instantly, Wu Hui exploded like a crushed tomato, blood bursting everywhere!

Miraculously, the splattering blood seemed to be blocked by an invisible wall, strictly contained within a half-meter radius.

"Lord Pride, I suppose we have thoroughly offended the Undead King now," Specter said, spreading his hands helplessly.

"It doesn't matter. I have already offended King Chi; adding the Undead King to the list is nothing. Besides, he was the one who offended me first. Hiding far away in the Blood Moon Empire, yet trying to use the Seven Deadly Sins to deal with King Chi? Today's incident can only be considered a greeting.

"The Undead King probably expected I would not agree, which is why he only sent a member of the silver blood clan. He knew whoever came would die, so he saved his resources where he could." Su Mu spoke indifferently.
