I Took A Succubus's First Time
Chapter 470: Seduce the Nun, Part 1
Kouhei and Petra eventually stopped in front of an apartment complex, and Kouhei immediately found himself wondering why they had decided to stop there instead of continuing somewhere else.
He looked around the area for a moment, taking in the buildings and the people moving around nearby. Nothing about the place immediately stood out to him as particularly suspicious, which somehow made him even more confused about why Petra had brought him here.
Kouhei turned toward her with a questioning look.
Petra simply looked back at him and smiled as though she had been waiting for him to ask.
"We are here," she said.
"Here?" Kouhei asked, looking back toward the apartment complex. "Uh... what exactly am I supposed to be doing here?"
"It’s fine," Petra said casually. "She’s still on her way to her institution, so you have some time. I don’t think you’d want to approach her anywhere near the church, would you?"
Kouhei’s expression immediately became more serious.
Well, considering that Kouhei was a demon now, he couldn’t exactly walk straight into a church and expect everything to go smoothly. The church itself wasn’t going to instantly burn him alive just because he stepped within a certain distance, despite the fact that movies seemed to love pretending that demons could be defeated by crossing a line drawn on the floor.
Unfortunately, the people belonging to the Church were a different matter entirely.
The Church had people who were specifically trained to deal with demons, and some of them apparently possessed enough power to kill beings like them. That meant walking directly into their territory without a plan would be an incredibly stupid thing to do.
Kouhei had already made plenty of questionable decisions since becoming a demon, and he wasn’t particularly interested in adding "walked into a church because someone told me to" to the list.
"So right now, I think your best bet is to... try and assault her."
"What?"
Kouhei stared at Petra.
His brain seemed to stop working for a second, apparently needing time to process the sentence he had just heard. He even looked at her again as though there was some chance that he had misunderstood what she had said.
"What the fuck do you mean by that?"
Kouhei couldn’t believe what he was hearing.
Petra, meanwhile, didn’t seem particularly bothered by his reaction.
"Well, there’s nothing that could make your progress much faster than doing that, isn’t there?" Petra said. "I believe it would be much more efficient... and much faster."
Kouhei continued staring at her.
"I don’t think there’s anything wrong with it, as long as you have the power to do it," Petra continued, sounding almost as though she were explaining something completely ordinary. "And I don’t think she’s going to mind that much. She’s such a twisted person that she might even enjoy it."
Kouhei’s expression became increasingly uncomfortable as she continued.
He didn’t even want to consider it.
The idea alone was enough to make his stomach turn, and he couldn’t imagine himself being able to live with himself afterward if he actually did something like that. Becoming a demon had already forced him to rethink almost everything he knew about himself, but that didn’t mean he had suddenly thrown away all of his morals.
He might have gained powers, but that didn’t mean he wanted to become a demon in every possible sense of the word.
There had to be something left of the person he used to be.
Kouhei still wanted to maintain his humanity somehow, and perhaps now more than ever. If he started abandoning his morals simply because he had become stronger, then what exactly would separate him from the monsters he had once feared?
"I don’t want to," Kouhei said firmly. "I would rather do this alone and in my own way from now on. I hope that you won’t interfere with whatever I decide to do."
Petra stared at him for several seconds.
Then she suddenly laughed.
"Kekekeke! You seriously are very entertaining!" she said, clearly amused by his response. "Now I understand why Wanda is getting really worried about you. I might actually... fall."
The last part was said much more quietly, almost as if Petra hadn’t intended for him to hear it.
Kouhei gave her a strange look.
He wasn’t entirely sure what she meant by that, and judging from the way she quickly shifted her attention elsewhere, he had a feeling that asking her would probably lead to an even stranger conversation.
Petra eventually looked back at him.
"Look, you may like doing things your own way, but try not to get too caught up in this," she said. Her tone was considerably more serious now. "You are dooming yourself if you stay too close to her for far too long."
Kouhei listened carefully.
"I know the Church isn’t always watching their nuns, but some of them might eventually be able to piece everything together," Petra continued. "You might think you’re being careful, but people who have dealt with demons for years aren’t exactly amateurs."
She paused briefly before continuing.
"Although I know for a fact that you might be able to defend yourself, the nun probably won’t be able to do anything if they find out. She would be crucified because they would believe she had been tainted by a demon."
Kouhei’s expression changed.
Petra had spoken casually about many things since they had met, sometimes even making jokes about situations that really shouldn’t have been funny. This time, however, there wasn’t even the slightest trace of amusement in her voice.
She sounded completely serious.
For a moment, Kouhei thought there was no way she could have been lying about this.
The warning felt far too specific.
It seemed like Petra had either witnessed someone experience something like this before or perhaps had learned about it from someone who had. Whatever the actual explanation was, Kouhei decided that it was definitely something worth remembering.
He might have been willing to take risks with his own life, but dragging an innocent person into the consequences of his actions was another matter entirely.
With that in mind, Kouhei decided to proceed with the mission to seduce the Holy Book.
He wasn’t entirely sure how that was supposed to work yet, but that was something he would have to figure out along the way.
"Here she is," Petra suddenly said.
Kouhei immediately turned toward the direction she was pointing.
He looked across the area and found the woman almost immediately.
She was the woman who possessed the power of the knowledge of the universe.
Kouhei studied her from a distance.
She appeared to be somewhere in her early to mid-twenties, with blonde hair and blue eyes. Her appearance was surprisingly innocent, especially considering the way Petra had described her.
In fact, she looked almost too innocent.
Kouhei had expected someone who looked considerably more suspicious, perhaps someone who would walk around with an expression that screamed "I am definitely hiding something."
Instead, the woman looked like an ordinary young woman simply going about her day.
She carried herself calmly and didn’t appear to be doing anything particularly strange.
Kouhei narrowed his eyes slightly.
"That’s her?"
"That’s her," Petra confirmed.
Kouhei continued watching.
He still couldn’t quite picture the woman Petra had described.
Looking at her from where he was standing, she didn’t seem like someone who was doing anything particularly malicious. She looked calm, composed, and almost ridiculously innocent.
Then again, Kouhei reminded himself, appearances could be deceptive.
He had already learned that lesson several times since becoming a demon.
The woman continued walking until she suddenly reached into her bag.
Kouhei’s attention immediately sharpened.
She pulled something out.
At first, Kouhei couldn’t identify what it was.
He leaned slightly forward, trying to get a better look.
The woman then revealed the object fully.
Kouhei’s eyes widened.
It was a love egg handheld clicker.
Kouhei stared at the device.
He blinked.
Then he looked at Petra.
Then he looked back at the woman.
The device didn’t appear to be connected to anything, so Kouhei immediately assumed that it was wireless.
Petra’s smile widened.
The woman casually pressed the clicker.
Kouhei’s eyes widened again.
It looked like she had activated the device, or perhaps increased the vibration, although she didn’t show much of a reaction afterward.
A faint hue of red appeared across her cheeks.
Kouhei stared at her in disbelief.
At this point, he was almost certain that the love egg was inside her and vibrating, yet she didn’t react outwardly in any obvious way.
She simply kept walking.
She didn’t stumble.
She didn’t stop.
She didn’t even look particularly embarrassed.
She continued walking as if absolutely nothing unusual was happening.
It was like a completely normal Tuesday for her.
Kouhei couldn’t help staring.
He had spent the past several minutes trying to understand why Petra had described this woman as twisted, and now he was beginning to understand what she meant.
The sheer casualness of it was probably the strangest part.
If the woman had looked embarrassed or nervous, Kouhei might have been able to understand it.
Instead, she looked like someone who had just checked the time on her phone.
Kouhei slowly turned his head toward Petra.
Petra was already looking at him.
Her expression practically screamed that she had been waiting for this exact reaction.
"Told you," Petra said, looking at Kouhei’s completely shocked face.
