I Really Am A Villain

Ch. 1469 - Expelling The Black-Robed Man, The Clash of Water and Fire

The waters of the entire lake began to surge upward, forming a massive vortex that spiraled around Xu Zimo. It was as though a dragon of water were singing in a low hum, and the blue man merged into Xu Zimo’s body as well.

“How… how did you find it?” the red men asked, their faces changing drastically in disbelief.

“Picked it up on the road,” Xu Zimo replied with a faint smile.

The red men exchanged uneasy glances. One of them suddenly clasped his hands together, forming a seal. The mark expanded rapidly until it enveloped the entire particle world.

Many of the red men had been in slumber before, but as the seal descended, nearly all of them awoke at once. A wave of oppressive power erupted into the heavens, and their roars echoed through the entire world.

Looking up, Xu Zimo saw hundreds of red figures swarming in from the horizon, closing in around him in a massive encirclement.

“This time, we may need the aid of your Heavenly Court,” one of the red men said to the black-robed man.

“Even if you hadn’t asked, the Heavenly Court wouldn’t sit this one out,” the black-robed man replied coldly.

When it came to matters involving the Infernal Lord, the Heavenly Court had never cared about the cost.

But just then, the bottom of the lake began to tremble.

A colossal blue dragon burst upward, carrying divine might that reached the heavens. The dragon’s power was overwhelming, its roar alone sent countless red men flying backward.

“The power of Primordial Edicts… an Infinite Dao?!” the black-robed man exclaimed, his expression shifting in shock. Then he frowned slightly.

“No… you’re dead. This is only a divine remnant.”

“Even a remnant soul can crush you,” the water dragon said coldly, its voice echoing across the sky.

It was none other than the Water God Gongtu. The dragon was merely the manifestation of his consciousness, his divine sense taking form.

“Gongtu! You can’t destroy us,” the red men shouted. “You couldn’t do it thousands of years ago, and you can’t do it now!”

“Whether I can or not isn’t for you to decide,” the dragon retorted sharply.

Turning to Xu Zimo, it said, “I’ll deal with the unwanted guests. The rest is up to you.”

As soon as Gongtu finished speaking, immense energy surged around him.

The particle world trembled violently.

The red men felt as though control of this world had suddenly slipped from their hands, as if its very laws now answered to another master.

“Damn it! The old bastard left a failsafe!” one of them shouted in frustration.

“Attack him!” the red men roared.

Flames soared into the air, turning into blazing dragons of fire that rushed forward.

“You can’t harm me,” Gongtu said with a calm shake of his head. “I have already merged with this world.”

He lifted his palm, and with a thunderous boom, all flames were instantly cut off.

His eyes gleamed as he spoke in a solemn tone:

“Expel, anything that does not belong to my world shall never enter again.”

The black-robed man suddenly felt a tremendous force wrapping around him.

It was as if the very void were splitting open, trying to banish him from existence.

He struggled violently, but the force was absolute, like the will of the world itself, leaving him powerless to resist.

“You dare make yourself an enemy of the Heavenly Court!” he roared.

“Even if your Holy Progenitor came in person, he could not enter this world,” Gongtu thundered back.

He had the confidence to say that, after all, he had created this particle world himself. If it came to it, he was prepared to stake everything.

The power of banishment grew stronger and stronger until finally, the black-robed man’s figure was swallowed and vanished completely.

That technique expelled anything or anyone not native to this world.

Xu Zimo, however, was unaffected, as the blue man’s presence shielded him.

When the world finally grew quiet again, the water dragon transformed into a barrier that sealed off the entire realm.

Now, only Xu Zimo and hundreds of red men remained, facing each other across the void.

“So, you’re the old one’s last hope,” one of the red men sneered. “If we kill you, his final plan dies with you. Then we’ll deal with that escaped remnant, and everything will be over.”

By “escaped remnant,” he meant the blue man.

Xu Zimo raised his hand, and the weapon Shadow Tyrant appeared in his grasp.

“It seems some people don’t realize their death has already arrived.”

The power of the Myriad Streams gathered around Xu Zimo and his blade.

For him, this power didn’t need to be overwhelming, it only needed to be strong enough to wound these red men.

He charged forward, slashing through the air.

The force of his blade swept across the void itself, and in an instant, one red man was cleaved cleanly in half.

Because of the Myriad Streams, the red man’s body couldn’t regenerate, his inner flames extinguished completely, leaving him lifeless.

Xu Zimo snorted coldly as a dozen more red men lunged at him.

Their hands burned like twin infernos, melting the very fabric of space as they struck.

Xu Zimo stepped back swiftly to dodge the blow, then swung Shadow Tyrant once more.

This time, the strike carried the full might of his newly awakened Chaos Primordial power.

With a loud bang, the red men’s hands were sliced clean off.

Even as they suffered heavy losses, the red men showed no fear, continuing to charge madly as though death meant nothing to them.

In a matter of moments, Xu Zimo was surrounded on all sides.

He frowned slightly, then raised his right hand.

The entire lake stirred, the Myriad Streams roared to life.

“Run!” one of the red men shouted.

“There’s nowhere to run! This world is sealed, better to face him head-on and crush him!” another yelled.

The red men nodded, gathering together. Flames blazed around them, merging into an enormous sea of fire that spread across half the particle world, surging toward Xu Zimo.

“Deluge of Desolation!” Xu Zimo bellowed.

It was the Water God Gongtu’s inherited technique.

The waters of the lake erupted violently, waves towering to the heavens. Countless surges crashed down, threatening to drown the very sky.

When the two opposing forces, fire and water, collided, the particle world itself shuddered as if it would tear apart.

Fortunately, Gongtu’s seal held, keeping the realm intact for now.

The Myriad Streams and the sea of flames clashed fiercely, locked in a deadly stalemate.

Explosions echoed continuously, boom, boom, boom!, as water and fire extinguished and consumed each other in turn.

“Kill!” roared the hundreds of fire-red figures as they pressed their assault, faintly gaining the upper hand.

“You’re no match for us!” the red men shouted in unison, their voices rising over the chaos.
