Chapter 626: Chapter 626 They Laughed at His Double Chin Until It Absorbed the Palm Technique

"Show yourself!"

Several men hurriedly pulled out their cell phones and switched on their flashlights.

Thin beams of light pierced the darkness as they searched for the source of the voice.

A few moments later, all the lights converged on a single figure.

Standing in the distance was an enormously overweight man with a broad grin plastered across his face.

His belly protruded so far that it looked as though it had a life of its own, and his small eyes sparkled with an unsettling excitement as he looked over the new arrivals.

He slowly rubbed his hands together before letting out a chuckle.

"Hehehe..."

"Welcome."

"My name is Zhang San."

"You can all call me Big Fatty."

His smile somehow grew even wider.

"I hope you’re all prepared..."

"...because we’re going to be spending a very, very long time together."

For reasons none of them could explain, every criminal in the room felt a chill run down their spine.

Even the boss, who had remained composed throughout the kidnapping, found his expression becoming unusually grim.

Something about the fat man standing before them...

Felt profoundly wrong.

And then, as if reality itself had been rewritten, the surroundings around them changed.

One moment, they were standing inside the hideout.

The next...

They found themselves in a completely different place.

Cold stone walls surrounded them. The air was freezing.

A strange metallic smell filled their noses.

Rows of unfamiliar beds lined the room, and the atmosphere was so eerie that even the most experienced criminals felt a chill run through their bodies.

It looked like a morgue.

"What?!"

Several men immediately stepped back in shock.

They looked around in disbelief, trying to understand what had just happened.

However, their confusion did not last long.

A slow, heavy footsteps echoed through the cold room.

Step...

Step...

Step...

The big fatty began walking toward them.

His massive body moved with each step, causing his flesh to ripple like waves.

His enormous belly shook slightly as he walked, and his wide grin never disappeared from his face.

Under normal circumstances, his appearance might have made him look like a harmless, cheerful uncle.

But in this place...

With the cold morgue surrounding them and his unsettling smile under the dim light...

He looked like a monster that had just awakened.

A few of the thugs unconsciously tightened their grips on their weapons.

One of them shouted,

"Hey, fatty! Stay back!"

"We don’t want to hurt you."

"Tell us where we are and where our two guests went!"

But Zhang San didn’t answer. He simply continued walking closer.

His smile remained unchanged.

"He really is an idiot," one thug muttered.

Another scoffed.

"He’s probably just some servant or guard."

The big boss narrowed his eyes.

"Don’t waste time."

"If he knows something, make him talk."

"Beat him until he gives us answers."

"Yes, boss!"

One of the larger thugs stepped forward eagerly.

Finally, he had someone to take his anger out on.

He cracked his knuckles and looked Zhang San up and down.

"Bad luck, fatty."

"You should have stayed out of this."

Without another warning, he threw a powerful punch directly toward Zhang San’s face.

Bang!

The fist landed perfectly. The thug smirked. But the smile quickly disappeared.

Zhang San didn’t even move. He slowly touched his cheek and blinked.

Then...

He grinned.

"That tickled."

The thug’s expression froze. Before he could react...

Slap!

Zhang San casually swung his hand.

The sound was deafening.

The thug’s entire body was sent flying across the room like a broken doll.

Boom!

He crashed into the wall hard enough to leave a deep mark before sliding down unconscious.

The entire morgue fell silent. The criminals stared in disbelief. Nobody laughed anymore.

Nobody mocked the strange fat man.

Because they finally realized something terrifying.

The person standing in front of them... Was not someone they could bully.

Two more men couldn’t accept what they were seeing.

They exchanged a glance before stepping forward together.

"Don’t be afraid!"

"He’s just one person!"

With their confidence shaken, they charged toward Zhang San from both sides, hoping that overwhelming numbers would solve the problem.

But the result was the same.

Bang!

Bang!

Two heavy impacts echoed through the cold morgue.

Before anyone could even understand what happened, two more bodies were sent flying across the room.

They crashed against the walls and remained there, unconscious.

The silence that followed was terrifying.

The criminals who had been laughing and mocking Zhang San moments ago were now completely frozen.

Shock. Confusion. Fear.

All three emotions appeared on their faces. Something was wrong.

This wasn’t a normal person. The big boss’s expression finally changed.

He had spent years dealing with dangerous people, but he had never seen anything like this.

A man who could ignore their attacks like they were nothing... That wasn’t possible.

"There is something wrong with him!"

His voice became urgent.

"Everyone!"

"Shoot him!"

The order was given instantly. The thugs didn’t hesitate.

They raised their weapons and pulled the triggers.

Boom!

Boom!

Boom!

The sound of gunfire filled the morgue.

Bullets tore through the air, flying directly toward Zhang San.

The criminals watched nervously, their hearts pounding with every passing second.

Surely this would work.

No matter how strong someone was, nobody could stand against a barrage of bullets.

They waited for screams. They waited for blood.

They waited for the fat man to finally fall. But... Nothing happened.

The gunfire stopped. Smoke slowly filled the room.

And when everyone could see clearly again...

Zhang San was still standing in the same place.

His clothes weren’t even damaged. His expression hadn’t changed.

That same wide smile remained on his face. The criminals felt their blood run cold.

"Impossible..."

Someone whispered.

Zhang San looked down at the bullets scattered harmlessly around him before looking back at the terrified group.

"Hmm?"

"That’s all?"

He tilted his head slightly.

"Your little toys don’t work on me."

He chuckled.

"Do you have anything better?"

Slowly... Very slowly... Zhang San began walking closer.

Each step felt heavier than the last. The criminals instinctively stepped backward.

For the first time that night, they weren’t looking at a hostage.

They weren’t looking at an opponent. They were looking at a monster.

And the worst part was... The big fat monster was smiling.
