Looking at the even bigger Crimson Wolf in front of him, Raiden felt a sinking feeling set into his heart.

All their attacks were basically ineffective against it, and he didn’t think they could do anything else without significantly hurting Woolie directly.

’What to do? What to do?! What to do?!! There must be a way to save Woolie. Think, Raiden, think!!!’

Taking a deep breath, Raiden calmed his mind, and he started to think of all the previous instances Fenrir tried to take over Woolie’s body and what he did to help him.

"That’s right!! Mind connection. I need to tap into his mind to help Woolie!!" After finding a solution, he didn’t waste any time and sat down cross-legged on the spot.

"Neva, Rose, I need your guys’ help to save your big brother Woolie, okay? I am going to tap into Woolie’s mind, and I need you guys to fight that big bad Crimson Wolf and not let it disturb me. I am counting on you guys. No matter what happens, you must not let anything disturb me."

Hearing the seriousness in Raiden’s voice, both Terra Beasts nodded at once.

"Sha Sha!!" Don’t worry, Rai Rai~. I’ll take care of you.

"Hiss!!~" Yes, Yes. You can go and do what you want. We’ll protect you for sure!!

"All right, I am counting on you both." After giving a nod to them, Raiden closed his eyes.

"AWOOOOOO!!" As if sensing something, the gigantic WOLF opened its jaws, condensing a powerful red beam before unleashing it towards Raiden.

Neva waved her limbs as the gigantic screen of light appeared in front of her, directly colliding with the red beam moving towards them.

The clash produced a massive shock wave that rippled throughout the battlefield, destroying everything in its path.

Meanwhile, Rose flicked her tail up close. Blood droplets on the battlefield rose into the air before they combined into a giant spear.

Faster than the enemy could react, it pierced downwards with a shocking force, piercing his chest and head, halting its beam attack.

In the middle of all this, Raiden just sat on the spot with his eyes closed, having no idea what was happening around him as he tapped deeper and deeper into his connection with Woolie.

Raiden opened his eyes and found himself surrounded by the familiar darkness.

He got up with familiarity and started to sense the aura of the Emperor around him.

A frown appeared on his face when he wasn’t able to find it, even after a few minutes.

’No, this isn’t right. He should be around here. I just need to work even harder!! Every minute wasted is just another minute that’s prolonged suffering for Woolie!!’

He concentrated even harder, tapping into his connection with Woolie, trying his best to find even a glimpse of his aura.

After what felt like eternity, he finally was able to capture it, a faint but unmistakable lively aura that was unique to his Woolie alone.

He pushed forward, shuttling through the world at its fastest speed, getting closer and closer to Woolie.

"Woolie!!!"

"Awoooo!!!"

From afar, Raiden was able to catch a glimpse of a gigantic Silver Grey Wolf covered in Crimson Thunder and a small Black Sheep in Violet, locked in a confrontation as they butted heads against each other.

"Woolie!!!" Get out of my body, you big bad wolf!!

"All your powers, everything you have, it all comes from me, and you dare to kick me out?!! You owe this body to me!!!" The Crimson Thunder intensified as it started to overpower the Violet one, pushing Woolie back step by step.

Looking at this, Raiden knew he couldn’t waste any more time.

"Woolie!! I am here!! Let’s beat this big bad wolf together!!!"

A happy smile appeared on Woolie’s face as he heard Raiden’s voice from behind him, causing him to push back against the Crimson Lightning with even greater ferocity, bringing it to a stalemate once again.

"Woolie Woo Woolie!!" What took you so long, human?! I was waiting forever!! Hurry up, let’s beat this dumb wolf together!!!

"Yes, let’s do it!!" Without hesitation, Raiden jumped into the pool of Violet Thunder as he made his way towards Woolie while enduring the burning pain.

After reaching Woolie with some difficulty, Raiden put a hand on his head. As soon as he did, he felt an unimaginable pain go through his body.

"AAARRRGGGHHHHH!!!" It felt like a bolt of electricity went straight into his body and started running wild, destroying and burning up his veins from the inside.

He felt like his blood was evaporating, turning into a mist as power ran rampant through his body.

"You, the boy that has been blessed by the Crimson, don’t interfere in this matter. You can’t afford to. This is way beyond you!!" A snarl rang out in the void, as large crimson eyes fixated on Raiden’s soul, freezing it in place.

Hearing that smug tone in that voice, Raiden felt an uncontrollable surge of anger come towards the surface. That surge of anger temporarily made him forget all his pain as he glared at the wolf’s red, bloodshot eyes.

"You Damned Shameless Wolf!! You are who knows how many million years old; you dare to covet the body of Woolie, someone who is my family member, and you dare to tell me not to interfere?!! Screw you!! Screw your family!!! SCREW YOUR FATHER!!! SCREW YOUR GRANDFATHER!!! SCREW YOUR ENTIRE BLOODLINE!!!""

He channelled every single bit of power he had in his body into Woolie’s, making the Violet Thunder surge uncontrollably, overpowering the crimson one instantly.

ROAR!!!

"HOW LONG DO YOU THINK YOU CAN HOLD ME BACK, HUMAN? THE STRONGER HE GROWS, THE MORE MY POWER GROWS ALONG WITH IT. SOONER OR LATER, I WILL TAKE OVER YOUR BODY AND BE FREE!!!"
