Chapter 235: The Wolf Runs Wild

"AWOOO!!!"

CRACK-BANG!!!

A sense of unprecedented crisis enveloped Raiden’s body as all his hair stood on end.

Under his wide, disbelieving eyes, a gigantic bolt of crimson lightning moved towards him, ready to end his existence once and for all.

Bang!!

A red wall of blood rose in front of Raiden just in time to block that blow, as it destroyed everything around it.

"Hisss!!~" Are you okay, Rai Rai?!~ Are you hurt?? What happened to big brother Woolie???

Hearing those words, Raiden finally snapped out of his stupor and glanced at Woolie, whose dark body was entirely covered in crimson lightning.

"WOO—Li-LIEEE ORRRRRR!!!" A deep guttural roar sounded from Woolie’s throat, covering the entire battlefield as everyone felt an impossible pressure sink upon their souls.

"Woolie?? Woolie, are you okay??!!" Raiden shouted frantically as he tried to rush closer, but the storm of crimson lightning surrounding Woolie was too much for his body, driving him backwards.

The only thing that answered him was a storm of crimson lightning.

BOOM!!!

"AWWWOOOOO!!!"

Under the horror-filled eyes of Raiden, a wolf made out of crimson lightning rose from Woolie’s body, taking over it completely as it howled, its shockwaves rolling off, destroying the battlefield and anyone who was left standing.

All the Terra Beasts that came to attack them all lay prone on the ground, feeling a horror strike their hearts as they looked at the gigantic walls made out of crimson lightning.

The Platinum Beasts were no exception, as the two lay on the ground, looking up at the sheep with fearful eyes.

Aria, meanwhile, felt like she was suffocating as she felt the pressure on her soul. Being the only normal person on a battlefield, she felt the horror of it more strongly than most people present here.

Gasping for breath, she fell to the ground. She repeatedly clawed at her neck, trying to breathe, but wasn’t able to.

Just as she was starting to black out, a broad back appeared in front of her, shielding her from the incoming pressure, finally allowing her to breathe.

"Gasp....Huff....Huff....Huff...." Theodore glanced back at his sister with worried eyes as he gritted his teeth while standing protectively in front of her.

"Are you okay, big sister??"

"I...I am fine l...little Theo. Are you...okay??" Aria looked at the trembling shoulders of her brother, who stood protectively with his back turned against her.

"Hehe, I am fine. This level of pressure seems to have no effect on me at all!!" Theodore spoke, mustering all the power he could from the inside.

"Good, good. But what exactly is happening to Woolie?? What is that... thing?? I never felt so much fear in my life before..." Aria said with fear still lingering in her voice.

"I have no idea either, sis... Whatever it is, it is not good news for us." Theodore muttered under his breath as he looked at the Crimson silhouette in the distance.

Under his horrified eyes, the crimson lightning grew larger and larger before it became a gigantic behemoth of 20 m, lording over all the beasts on the battlefield.

"AWWWOOOOO!!!"

Bang!!!

Another shockwave passed through the battlefield, causing more than half of the people to pass out in shock.

The only two Terra Beasts that could still move and felt mostly unaffected converged towards Raiden at the fastest speed.

"Sha Sha Sha!!!" Rai Rai~, something is happening to Big Brother. What is happening to Big Brother? Why has he become like this??

Neva waved her limbs frantically as she glanced back at Woolie in the distance.

"Hisss Shissss!!!" It’s that big bad wolf. He is back again, trying to suppress our big brother!!!

Rose spoke solemnly from the side, her worried-eyed eyes glancing at a small silhouette in the centre of crimson lightning floating there with its eyes closed.

Raiden had no time left to ponder on Rose’s words or her knowledge as he felt the connection between him and Woolie fading at a really fast pace.

"We have no time! We’ve got to save Woolie before it’s too late!! Are you guys ready?!!"

"Sha!!"

"Hiss!!!"

Both the Terra Beasts nodded at the same time.

"Great, let’s go save your big brother!! Go full power!!"

BOOM!!

Two great pillars of golden and red light rose behind Raiden as both Neva and Rose unleashed their full powers at the same time, their pressure rivalling Woolie.

This also successfully attracted the giant crimson wolf’s attention as it fixed its bloodthirsty eyes on them.

"Go!!"

"Sha!!"

Neva was the first one to move out as four golden circles appeared around her head, each one 5 m in size, and they let out piercing beams of golden light towards the opponent.

"AWOOO!!!" The wolf howled and unleashed crimson lightning that directly collided with the golden light, neutralising them.

BOOM!!!

"Hiss!!" Just then, a gigantic serpent completely made out of reddish blood arose from beneath its feet and ensnared its whole body, digging its fangs into the neck.

Seeing this, the crimson wolf started to thrash about, each of his steps shaking the ground and causing the earth to be torn asunder.

But the serpent didn’t let go, constricting around its body even tighter, making sure to hold it down.

"Now, Neva!!! Go!!"

"Sha!!!" In an instant, hundreds of golden circles appeared in the air, completely surrounding the wolf in the middle, causing it to widen its eyes.

"Sha Sha!!" You big bad wolf. Release our big brother!!

BOOM!!!

The hundreds of white-hot lasers slammed into the wolf’s body at the exact same moment Rose’s crimson serpent tightened its coils around its throat, and for one glorious second, it actually worked.

The lightning wolf’s massive body shredded apart, golden light tearing through crimson current while blood fangs ripped clean through its neck, unravelling the beast into scattered, dying sparks that rained down over the ruined battlefield like dying stars.

"Sha Sha!!" We did it!!

Neva cheered, bouncing excitedly.

"Hiss!!" Big brother is saved—

Rose’s words died in her throat as she saw the sight before her eyes.

The scattered sparks didn’t just fade. They froze mid-air, trembling, then rushed back together violently, condensing into a shape even larger than before, easily thirty metres now, blotting out the whole sky.

"AWOOOOOOOO!!!"
