Once the Mama Fruit took effect, Ophelia and the clan doctor began cleaning Brown’s wound.

Using the small tweezers Ophelia had bought from the System Mall, the two carefully picked out the gravel from his flesh.

Within half an hour, Ophelia and the clan doctor had extracted twenty to thirty pieces of fine gravel.

Once she was sure no debris remained, Ophelia prepared to apply the hemostatic powder to Brown’s wound. Before applying it, however, she used a sterilized Bone Knife to slice off Brown’s mangled flesh.

The Bear Clan Leader stared at the piece of meat in the Stone Bowl, astonished. “Ophelia, this…”

“Leaving this mangled flesh would hinder his wound’s recovery. Even if it eventually healed together, it would still cause him occasional pain in the future. It’s better to just cut it off cleanly,” Ophelia explained.

The Bear Clan Leader clicked his tongue. He knew she was right, but watching his own son’s flesh get sliced off still left him feeling slightly uncomfortable.

Ophelia didn’t have time to comfort the Bear Clan Leader. She directly poured a bottle of hemostatic powder over the wound, and three minutes later, the bleeding gradually stopped.

Seeing such miraculous effects, Klein was astonished.

He had originally thought the Fuzu Tribe’s medicine would be similar to the wound medicine of the High-level Tribes. However, the moment this hemostatic powder was used, he knew it was entirely different.

Even in the Holy Capital, there wouldn’t be anything better than this. It only took one bottle to completely staunch the bleeding of such a severe wound.

“The bleeding has stopped!” the clan doctor exclaimed happily.

The Bear Clan Leader also breathed a massive sigh of relief.

After waiting a few minutes to ensure the bleeding didn’t resume, Ophelia applied antiseptic medicine to the wound and wrapped it in Beast Skin Gauze.

“Once he gets through the critical period over the next three days, he’ll be fine.”

The Bear Clan Leader’s anxious heart finally settled. “Ophelia, thank you. Thank you so much.”

Overwhelmed with gratitude, he reached out to grasp Ophelia’s hands, but Klein immediately stepped forward and blocked him.

The older man gave a sheepish smile. “Ophelia, your mate really is a jealous one.” With his son’s condition improving, he finally had the mood to crack a joke.

Ophelia’s lips curled up in a faint smile. “Klein, let’s go.”

On the way home, Klein pondered for a long time before finally speaking up.

“Ophelia, could I have the White Tiger Clan’s doctors come to the Fu Clan to learn your techniques for bandaging and treating males?”

Having witnessed her treat a severely injured male with his own eyes today, Klein knew that the rumors of the Fuzu Tribe’s ‘Divine Medicine’ were completely true.

“Of course.”

Ophelia had no intention of keeping her trauma treatment methods a secret. Furthermore, these techniques were quite simple; anyone could learn them just by observing carefully.

She had only dared to attempt treating wounds because of her boldness and her repository of modern knowledge. In reality, her actual medical skills couldn’t even compare to a clan doctor in the Beast World.

“You’re actually willing to pass this technique on to others?”

Ophelia’s completely unhesitant agreement left Klein in disbelief. He knew she was kindhearted, but he hadn’t expected her to be this selfless.

“Why not? Once my planting and breeding techniques mature, I’ll teach those to others as well.

“I don’t just want to change the lives of the Beastmen in the Fuzu Tribe and Ten Thousand Beasts City. I also want to ensure that other males no longer have to risk their lives hunting in the forest every single day.

“As long as they put in a little effort, everyone will be able to fill their stomachs.”

Klein’s footsteps faltered as he stared blankly at Ophelia’s retreating back. As it turned out, he had been the narrow-minded one all along.

Prompted by Klein’s suggestion, Ophelia publicly announced that any clan doctor willing to learn surgical and trauma treatment skills was welcome to come to the Fuzu Tribe.

Upon returning to the stone house, Ophelia found Lam and Sail waiting by the door.

“What brings you two here?” she asked.

“We…”

“Ophelia, we want to take some antiseptic medicine and cold medicine to trade in distant places!” Before Lam could even figure out how to phrase it, Sail bluntly blurted out the purpose of their visit.

“It’s a great idea that you two thought of this.”

“See? I told you Ophelia would agree.” Sail grinned, bumping his shoulder against Lam’s.

Lam chuckled awkwardly, wondering if Sail really had to be so blunt.

“It’s like this, Ophelia. Sail and I don’t actually have that many Crystal Stones on hand right now. So… could we get the medicine from you first on credit, and then pay you the Crystal Stones once we’ve finished trading?” Even as he said the words, Lam felt his face heat up in embarrassment.

Klein raised an eyebrow. These two sure knew how to dream—they were obviously trying to get something for nothing. He figured only a fool would agree to such terms.

However, he hadn’t expected his own mate to be that exact fool.

“Sure.”

When that single word left Ophelia’s mouth, Klein stared at her, utterly dumbfounded.

“No way!” Klein immediately objected.

“Really? That’s wonderful! I want ten packets of cold medicine and ten packets of fever medicine…” Sail, entirely devoid of scheming, was already happily placing his order.

“Ophelia, you can’t agree to this! What if they just abscond with the medicine?” Klein urged.

Ophelia shook her head. “They won’t. I believe in them.”

Sail was an honest man, and while Lam was shrewd, he knew what was most beneficial to him in the long run. Besides, she had let them buy on credit before, so she wasn’t worried that they would run off with her goods.

“You—I’m just looking out for you.” Klein felt that Ophelia was simply far too trusting.

Seeing Klein’s strong opposition, Sail immediately held up three fingers and swore an oath. “I, Sail, swear to the Beast God that I will absolutely never do anything to betray Ophelia! If I break this vow, let me become a Wandering Beast and never have offspring for the rest of my life.”

Having offspring was incredibly important to a male. Klein never expected Sail to be willing to swear such a venomous oath. A sudden wave of guilt washed over him; once again, he had been too petty.

“I’m also willing to swear,” Lam chimed in. “If I do anything to betray Ophelia, let all the Crystal Stones I earn in this life turn to dust, and let me live the rest of my days in absolute poverty!”

Lam valued his own interests above all else, so an oath like this was immensely severe for him.

Ophelia already trusted the two of them, but she didn’t stop them from swearing their oaths. After all, it gave her an extra layer of guarantee.

Although they had asked for credit, the two of them still handed over half of their Crystal Stones before leaving.

With these Crystal Stones, Ophelia could afford to buy more fertilizer speed-up packs.

Every day, males from various tribes would come to deliver medicinal herbs and seedlings. The small amounts quickly added up. To her surprise, the herbal seedlings found in the Primitive Forest were enough to plant a full thousand square meters of land.

Ophelia even categorized them carefully, allocating a specific plot for each type of medicinal herb.

With the herbs sorted, Ophelia began planting jute and castor.

One day, just as she finished using the last fertilizer speed-up pack in the System Space, the system chimed with an alert.

[Successfully used 1,000 fertilizer speed-up packs. Rewarding one Skill Book.]

Ophelia retrieved the Skill Book from her inventory and flipped through it. The book was incredibly comprehensive, containing a wide variety of skills ranging from planting and breeding to crafting.

Looking at the sprawling fields of jute, she flipped straight to the weaving skill.

She now had the Skill Book and the raw materials to make linen; all she was missing was a loom. Ophelia asked around and discovered that not even Moye from Ten Thousand Beasts City had ever seen a loom before.

Thus, even though she could purchase one from the System Space, she couldn’t risk bringing it out. But without a loom, her weaving endeavors hit a massive bottleneck.

Consequently, Ophelia searched the Skill Book and learned the blueprint for crafting a loom herself. Unfortunately, her manual dexterity was simply too poor. Even though she had mastered the skill in theory, she had no way to actually build the finished product.

Watching Ophelia fiddle with a few pieces of wood every day with a bitter scowl, Klein asked her with concern, “Ophelia, what’s wrong?”

Seeing Klein, Ophelia’s eyes suddenly lit up. “Klein, have you ever seen a loom?”
