I Can Level Up Infinitely

Chapter 318: S-Class

  • Next Chapter

The young man sent by Dylan was watching everything unfold quietly. He was even sending short videos now and then to update Dylan on everything. Under his gaze, Leon slowly stood on the circular platform.

"Best of luck, Leon," Emily said. Her expression looked totally emotionless when she said that, but both Sol and Jason looked at her, surprised.

’She... She actually wished.’ They both had this same thought.

Meanwhile, Dylan, who was watching everything, narrowed his eyes. At the moment, he was sitting at his desk. His fist clenched slightly. "This bastard. He doesn’t even have mana, yet she is wishing for him." Suddenly, something clicked in his mind as his veins bulged. "I already warned you once, Emily. But it looks like your lesson was incomplete. Then don’t blame me for reminding you again." He stood up from his chair. The movement was so abrupt and fast that the chair screeched back. He hurried outside of his room.

Back at the testing chamber...

The moment the beam of light swallowed Leon, his eyes became lifeless like Snow’s. The screen became alive once more. On the screen, Leon was standing in the middle of a deep forest.

Jason’s eyes narrowed. "Wait! Why did you send him there? That is an F-rank beast territory."

"What do you mean? His mana couldn’t be detected. He has to start with the F-Class monsters. That’s the protocol."

"You are about to waste a lot of time," Jason said helplessly.

"Maybe not, Father." Sol grinned.

Steven looked at the father and son with a confused expression. ’They are acting strangely.’ He mused inwardly.

Meanwhile, Leon was standing amidst a forest at the moment. He looked at his own body instead of exploring the surroundings. He was amazed by the capability of the Hunter Association.

But while he was busy admiring, footsteps could be heard. Slow and unhurried. More than twenty jackals surrounded him. But Leon didn’t even look at them.

"Shit!" In the chamber, Steven panicked. "He can’t even sense F-Class monsters approaching. He’s going to die."

Snow stared at him before bursting into laughter. It was as if she had heard the funniest joke of her life.

"Grhhhhh!" One of the jackals growled, saliva dripping from its open maw.

Suddenly...

The jackal bolted forward, its eyes flashing with a crimson glow.

Thirty meters. Twenty. Fifteen.

Just when the jackal arrived within a ten-meter range of Leon...

Whoooooosh!

Something whistled through the air, leaving behind a crimson streak.

Boooom!

The jackal was struck by something, a massive invisible thrust. Before it could do anything, a gaping hole exploded in its head.

And then...

Thud!

The jackal fell. Dead.

Right after that...

Whoooosh!

Whooosh!

Whoooosh!

One after another, every jackal fell in just ten seconds.

Steven stood frozen. ’What kind of power is that? Those monsters are weak, yes. But to slaughter them in just ten seconds, and that also without even lifting a finger? He’s definitely a B-Class at the very least.’ He slowly walked ahead and tapped a button.

The scene changed instantly. Leon was there. But the forest wasn’t. This time, he was standing on a barren land. Wherever his eyes could go, he found only sand.

"E-Class this time. Let’s see how many seconds he takes." Jason wondered. His eyes remained fixated on the screen.

As Leon was observing the surroundings, fifteen creatures burst out from the ground. Badgers.

"Black claymore," Leon whispered. Instantly, the pitch-black sword appeared in his hand. He slowly wrapped his fingers around the hilt.

All the badgers started rushing toward Leon. Leon, meanwhile, raised his sword, the sword tip facing left. "Fourth Form." He whispered. "Elemental slash." He swung the blade as he whispered.

Instantly, a wide arc of fire shot forward. The badgers immediately sensed something was wrong. All those monsters stopped, turned around and were about to flee when the fiery arc went through everyone of them.

Every single badger froze before their bodies were blasted into nothing.

Once again...

Silence fell.

Steven stood frozen, his mouth hanging open. "Three seconds. He killed them all in just three seconds!" He whispered in shock.

Snow chuckled, seeing his expression.

Steven swallowed once before tapping the button once more. The surroundings changed again.

Leon was standing atop a mountain this time. He didn’t even have to wait for the monsters this time. He was already surrounded by twenty-five humanoid boars. All were emanating the aura of D-Class monsters.

"How many seconds this time?" Jason whispered.

"Ten," Sol said.

"I bet on five." Snow added.

And under everyone’s watchful gaze, Leon took the initiative this time. "First Form. Sword dance." He whispered before leaving behind a blur. Before that blur could even vanish, a black streak swept by every humanoid boar. The next moment, Leon was standing on the opposite side.

Thud!

One boar’s head rolled down and dropped on the ground.

Thud!

Another boar’s upper half slid down and collapsed on the ground.

Thud!

Thud!

Thud!

Somewhere heads collapsed, somewhere other body parts. But in just three seconds, every boar lay unmoving.

Dead. Every single one of them.

"Fuck!" Steven couldn’t help but curse loudly this time. "He is an A-Class, too. I should have guessed it." He tapped a different button this time. "I am sending you for a B-Class monster this time. Just like the previous participant."

The moment he tapped the button, the surroundings changed again. Leon was standing in an icy land. Same as Snow’s test. Leon didn’t have to guess what monster it would be.

Without even looking back, Leon flung his right arm to the right.

Whoooooosh!

A massive fireball shot out. The massive fireball struck a giant figure that had just emerged and was about to slowly approach.

Booooooooooom!

The fireball exploded, shaking the whole icy region. Shards of ice erupted outward like swords. Dust and chunks of ice covered the whole place.

Once everything slowly settled, a massive monster head could be seen lying on the ground. A Frost Giant’s head. But other than the head, everything else had perished.

Steven staggered back. "S..." his lips trembled. "S-Class."
