But An Jun didn’t mind. He was practically their matchmaker and knew Yi Chen better anyway.

At this, Pan Yourong saw someone else was there and held back the questions she wanted to ask. Instead, she picked out a Rose Dragon that weighed around three pounds.

After she left, Yi Chen looked at An Jun with a slight headache. "The boss isn’t here today. You won’t be able to catch him."

"To wait for him, I can put everything else aside."

Though the words sounded touching, An Jun said them through gritted teeth.

"I’m closing the shop this afternoon to go home and rest," Yi Chen said, glaring.

"That’s fine. You go ahead and close." An Jun knew that if he stayed in the shop, she would definitely sneak a message to Gu Nan telling him not to come back.

Besides, his main goal wasn’t to ambush him at the shop anyway. If he secretly followed her later, he might be able to find Gu Nan directly.

The morning passed quickly. At noon, Yi Chen didn’t give him a hard time and still made lunch for two.

After they ate, she told An Jun to go home, then closed the shop and went to buy the supplies.

She rode her electric scooter to the market and bought some rice and noodles, followed by various vegetables, meat, and fruit.
